22/07/2026: Warning! Fraudulent practices! We ate here with two small children and wanted a large schnitzel with fries for them to share. We adults each ordered a flan, and each of us four ordered a drink. The bill included an additional charge of €16 (4 x €4) for "couvert" (cover charge), which we didn't understand! They explained, incomprehensibly, that we had to pay this because we had shared the food between the four of us. We explained that this wasn't true – the children had shared the food. That would perhaps justify an additional "couvert." We had already paid for one plate, so why four additional plates instead of three? We had two more plates with the flan, so why the extra plates at all? They didn't give us a clear explanation, they didn't mention it when we said the children were sharing, and they weren't accommodating. They claimed it was listed on the menu, digitally! (see attachment) Please put up small signs warning of this strange practice. It has definitely spoiled our desire to visit Bastia!

14/07/2026: We wanted to spend some time here before the ferry and have a few beers. After one, we tried to pay quickly! The emphasis is on "tried." No waiter seemed to care about us, even though only two other tables were occupied. Furthermore, the service was very unfriendly and dismissed us with just two words. What a shame! We would have gladly spent more money there.

27/05/2026: Great playlist!!! I had to work, so I settled in somewhere cool from 3:30 PM to 5:45 PM and I loved the music!

17/06/2026: Avoid this place. They don't mention that the minimum spend is €10, so they push you to spend more. We're at the end of our vacation and don't necessarily have any cash left. The waiter or the owner is completely nonchalant.

12/06/2026: No welcome whatsoever, not even a hello. The service was completely impolite. The drink was okay, just cold bottled water 🤪🤪🤪🤪. We wanted to have lunch, but given the waiter's lack of enthusiasm, we left! And to top off our brief visit, the bill was placed on the table without a single thank you. Saying goodbye must have been an extra charge. I can understand the staff being fed up at the end of the season, but in June?!

24/07/2026: Today, July 24th, 2026, I went to McDonald's. I wanted a Royal Bacon to go, but it was inedible. The meat was dry and burnt, and seemed to have been cooked, recooked, and recooked again. I threw it in the trash. I've always been disappointed by this kind of food. I absolutely cannot recommend this establishment! Avoid it at all costs! L.DI PASTENA

02/07/2026: After placing my order at a kiosk, my receipt didn't print out; there was no paper. So I asked an employee if they could reprint it. The manager came over and said, "No, but do you really need it?" (Excuse me, ma'am, for wanting my receipt.) I replied yes, and nonchalantly, she printed it for me. I thanked her, but she left looking annoyed. The order arrived after a good 15 minutes, but some items were missing (well, I'm glad I asked for my receipt). I then went to ask another employee if they could correct the order, and he, also looking annoyed, went to speak to this charming manager, who then handed him the complete order. Therefore, I'm not asking for a good evening or an apology, but a goodbye as you left your establishment, rather than turning your back on me, would have been more professional.

05/07/2026: We ordered four ice creams… In the end, we had to get a refund because the ice cream machine was broken. The establishment was impeccably clean. Well done.

01/07/2026: Hello, I just left your restaurant. Upon returning home, I realized my order was incorrect: instead of burgers, I received veggie burgers. By the time I sat down and tasted them, I knew they weren't the right products, especially given their unusual taste. In the meantime, I had given some away, as I didn't want to waste any. So I returned to the restaurant to explain the situation. Unfortunately, the gentleman who served me was extremely unpleasant. He was condescending, mocked me in front of the other customers, and lectured me, even though I was simply pointing out an error that wasn't mine. This is only my second day in this city, and this experience has left me with a very negative impression of your service. I thought politeness, attentiveness, and kindness were among your establishment's core values. Instead of being listened to, I felt judged and humiliated after spending my money at your restaurant. Having worked at a McDonald's myself, I am familiar with the procedures. I know perfectly well that returned items are thrown away and that, when the restaurant makes an order error, the customer is generally not required to provide proof. Despite this, I returned with the remaining item to demonstrate my good faith, which clearly made no difference. I find this behavior unacceptable. Mistakes can happen, but disrespect towards a customer is simply not acceptable. I hope this situation will be taken seriously and that measures will be taken to ensure that no other customer has to endure such an experience.

11/07/2026: We bought fries for lunch today; they were very burnt, probably due to being cooked multiple times. They were also very small. Very disappointing.

01/07/2026: The pizza was very generously topped and absolutely delicious, and the hamburgers were simply amazing! We all thoroughly enjoyed them. Thank you!

02/08/2026: For a restaurant, this is far from clean. As usual, the tables are dirty, and for 2 PM, there's no excuse. I find this unacceptable given the staff at this restaurant. I absolutely do not recommend this McDonald's.

01/08/2026: Again!! The service is appalling!! More oversights in the order! Is this incompetence or a deliberate attempt to rip off customers? So I'll have the entire bag emptied on the counter again for another check.

11/07/2026: I used to think this McDonald's was better. In fact, I've been disappointed with the drive-thru several times now. Orders aren't respected (I asked twice for drinks without ice, but they're still there...) and points are deducted without my consent. And most recently, the cashier deducted my points without asking, too late for me to realize it (I should point out that I heard €13.40, not €3.40 at the checkout, otherwise I would have said something). I mentioned it at the next counter, and the server apologized politely, but the manager gave me a dirty look and didn't apologize. A small gesture would have been nice, even though I understand it's not a high-end restaurant...

21/10/2025: Homemade, high-quality cuisine. A small menu that blends Corsican and local specialties. A minimalist atmosphere, but with a beautiful fireplace where the meats are cooked.

23/05/2026: The restaurant's warm welcome is thanks to Aurélie, who always has a kind word for her customers, is attentive, and above all, has a smile. It's very pleasant. Aurélie is incredibly professional. On the other hand, we get the impression of bothering some other members of the team when we're served a cold item and ask to have it replaced with a hot one. The price is quite high, so it's understandable that you don't want to eat cold food. I'm not generalizing about all the team members, thankfully.

29/04/2026: The restaurant deserves 5/5 just for the gentleman with brown hair at the drive-thru who is incredibly kind and efficient; honestly, it's a pleasure to be welcomed like that. Otherwise, thank you to this McDonald's for saving all my mornings after a night out.

20/04/2026: I chose sorbets: Strawberry basil Apricot rosemary with lime I like tangy flavors, and these sorbets were very icy with little bits of ice in the lime flavor. The flavors are original; I liked it—a nice change. The waitress was very friendly. There are small streets lined with little shops, but in April, it wasn't too hot and there weren't many people. A perfect visit.

09/04/2026: Expensive ice cream (€7.50 for 3 scoops), not very tasty, and some had ice crystals. It was very disappointing. The worst stracciatella we've ever had.

26/07/2026: Came at 10pm for 3 ice creams, incomprehensible that I was told the machines had been stopped when the store closes in 2 hours.

18/06/2026: I ordered a kebab through Uber Eats from Pizza des Lys in Osny and was extremely disappointed. The "kebab" I received was nothing like a real kebab. The meat was of very poor quality, with an unappetizing texture and appearance. Frankly, it was disastrous. I regularly order kebabs and I've never received such a disappointing product. I couldn't even finish it. I do not recommend this establishment for this type of order.

25/04/2026: I ordered from Uber Eats and frankly, it was a bad experience: a huge delay (cold Greek food), small portions (especially the meat), and overall not very good. Hoping I don't get sick in the next few days.
