23/05/2026: The place has been very nice since the renovations. However, the food could be much better. The sausage and mashed potatoes were attractively priced: the mashed potatoes were very good, the sausage was average and too salty, and why use a processed sauce that ruins everything? They should have left it out altogether. The coffee was really not great. In short, not great.

27/03/2026: I'm very disappointed. I ordered a small plate, but upon arrival, they told me they didn't have small plates to take away and charged me the price of a large one. When I got home, the €11 plate was practically empty; there weren't even any fries, no napkin, no cutlery, and to top it all off, the plate was frozen.

29/07/2026: I placed my order online and arrived at the kiosk. They were out of salad, which can happen, so the server offered me something else. I took potatoes instead. My order arrived, but there were no potatoes in it, so I went back to the kiosk to ask for them again. The reception from the server was incredibly rude... cold and icy, as if she was bothered by having to do what was missing... a total lack of respect for the customer. I hope she wasn't like that all evening with the other customers... Order placed Wednesday, July 29th at 10 PM...

28/07/2026: I've always been satisfied every time I've been to this McDonald's. The staff is great, there's nothing to complain about regarding wait times or food preparation, and it's clean and well-maintained. Special thanks to Clovis who gave me a very warm welcome, served me quickly and with a smile—that's becoming rare and it's always appreciated. Keep up the good work! 👍

17/05/2026: We arrived at 11:30 PM and left at 2:00 AM on a Saturday night. We didn't enjoy the atmosphere or the music. We think it only really picks up around 2:00 AM, so our rating is very mixed. The staff was welcoming.

21/03/2026: Not a bad place if you want to get tear-gassed, definitely not safe. I went to the late-night café for a birthday. Once outside, my group of friends went in one after the other, until I was the only one left. As I was about to go in, the bouncer pulled out his pepper spray and sprayed two people who were causing trouble, including me. After 10-15 minutes with my eyes closed and no help from the bouncer or anyone else, it was only after I forced them to give us some spray to disperse the tear gas. In short, after my first time there, I'm not going back.

28/05/2026: The service was quite pleasant; the lady who was a bit taller was very welcoming, warm, and smiling. However, the other lady, who was a bit shorter, asked for our student IDs, even though we go there quite often and her colleague told her she knew us and that we were frequent customers. She still insisted on seeing our student cards, displaying a passive-aggressive attitude. Another group of teenagers came in, and she didn't ask them for their IDs. The service was better for them than for us; throughout the meal, she was unpleasant to us, and I hope it had nothing to do with our skin color.

17/04/2026: Disappointing service and welcome. When buying tokens, the staff didn't even bother to look at the customers before taking payment, which gave an impression of a lack of consideration. Then, when my daughter asked for a flavor for her diabolo, the response was given in an irritated tone, stating that they didn't have any unusual flavors, only classic ones. Finally, after she accidentally spilled her drink before even finishing it, no compensation was offered. We aren't particularly demanding customers; we simply want to have a good time as a family, which explains why we chose to stay despite these inconveniences. We decided to write this review not because we lacked the courage to speak about it in person, but because we were with our children and didn't want to create an unpleasant situation that could have spoiled their experience. This is often the argument used to respond to negative reviews, but we felt it was important to share our experience calmly.

05/06/2026: A stark difference in cleanliness compared to other restaurants in the chain As a regular at Le Poulaillon in Morschwiller-le-Bas, where I eat very frequently for work, I particularly enjoy the Burger du Moulin. I've had the opportunity to try the Cernay location twice, and the experience is unfortunately quite different. On my first visit, the patty in my burger was overcooked. That can happen, so I didn't hold it against them. However, I went back yesterday for a quick lunch at 12:15 pm, right at the start of service, and the lack of hygiene in the dining area was glaring. As soon as I walked in, I stepped in huge Lotus biscuit crumbs. The entire floor was covered in crumbs, and the tables and chairs were dirty. Birds even freely wander into the shop to peck at the floor. This is a complete contrast to the impeccable cleanliness of the Morschwiller location. It's a shame, because the bakery section itself is impeccable and the products are still good. However, the filthy state of the dining area and furniture makes it absolutely uninviting. I won't be returning to eat there anytime soon, and I hope a serious effort will be made to clean and maintain the restaurant area.

23/07/2026: After ordering a meal, the main burger wasn't in the bags. We had ordered takeout, and when we went back to claim it, they told us it wasn't possible. Completely ridiculous!

07/07/2026: We spontaneously decided to eat here after a hike. The roast and potato gratin were excellent. We were there with a toddler, and they made her a delicious crepe with cheese and ham. There were also toy ducks in the fountain for our daughter to play with. Overall, a very charming family-run business. The roast and gratin were prepared by the owner's grandmother. Since it's primarily a bar, the food selection is limited. If that doesn't bother you, it's the perfect place to enjoy a delicious, home-style meal.

17/06/2026: Excellent service. Generous portions. The breaded veal escalope was very good. A fantastic young waiter. We'll be back.

22/07/2026: Dirty restaurant at 11 PM. Seat with a hole. Order incomplete once again. Toys in the Happy Meals still not available after payment. Staff barely polite. However, the service was quick and the food was hot. It's exhausting. I can't wait for the competition to open.

26/07/2026: They don't offer table service. Orders take a long time to arrive, and the staff is uncoordinated. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired.

21/07/2026: We were waiting to be served, and one of our friends hadn't received her takeaway order. To apologize for the wait, the manager very kindly offered her extra fries and a donut for dessert 😊
