04/08/2026: As a recent customer, I was served by the young woman featured in the shop's videos. A very warm welcome and a very friendly smile! She gave me excellent advice. The terrace is lovely and offers a great view. I highly recommend it!

31/07/2026: A warm welcome. With a smile! A lovely atmosphere. The pastries are top-notch, the cakes are delicious, and all the sandwiches are fantastic. The smoothies are amazing!

16/09/2026: McDonald's is still McDonald's, but this is pretty special. The McChicken and fries were cold. The wait was incredibly long. But the only redeeming feature was this young woman in the kitchen with long hair hanging over the food. No hairnet on her head... hmmm, so much for hygiene!

25/07/2026: We managed to get a table on the terrace despite our late arrival. From the very first conversation, I sensed a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere; we quickly felt at ease. The brasserie is located on a pedestrian street opposite the covered market. I soon realized that most of the customers were regulars. We ordered aperitifs and main courses; we weren't in a hurry, and the terrace was truly lovely. The dishes were delicious, generous, and homemade. My husband had lasagna, and I had seafood risotto with prawns. For dessert, we indulged in profiteroles and rum baba. I was definitely not disappointed—finally, a real rum baba with rum! We will be back very soon, and I highly recommend it.

22/05/2026: An unfortunate experience. It wasn't even worth staying. Dirty glasses and a lack of willingness to explain the menu to a tourist.

31/08/2026: I didn't finish my fries, the Big Mac was incredibly dry, and the meat was overcooked. I was served in 20 seconds; I think the burgers had been sitting around for a while. I rarely go there anyway, but now I'm definitely not going back. You've managed to put me off it completely. I feel like saying: long live Burger King. PS: I couldn't care less if you reply to me; just give me my 15 euros back.

15/08/2026: The setting is nice but the service is mediocre... Impossible to get a coffee at 11 am at Café Niçois... Probably so they can sell much more expensive sodas 😔😔😔

22/08/2026: On the menu of sweet crepes, they forgot to mention that the toasted almond and dark chocolate crepe was heavily soaked in alcohol and therefore disgusting! If I ever return to Cherbourg, I won't go back to their place, despite the waiter's friendliness.

19/08/2026: Ordered two espressos, what a surprise! It was filter coffee that had been reheated and reheated again… We didn't want to try anything else given the price of the so-called "espresso" at €3.30 each 😱😱😱 more expensive than in Paris! The table was dirty and there was an unpleasant smell inside. We didn't finish our coffee and left quickly. Avoid this place! What a shame… I definitely do not recommend this café.

09/09/2026: Over 45 minutes of waiting between arriving at the drive-thru and being served. What does "Quick" even mean anymore??? This is unacceptable. I've never seen anything like it at any other fast-food chain. All that for cold food, no apology whatsoever. And the staff's smiles... nonexistent. A manager who doesn't care what you say. She's completely jaded. You should go do something else... zero offer of compensation. I hadn't been there in a long time. You won't be seeing me again anytime soon!

09/09/2026: Over 40 minutes wait at the drive-thru before they could pick up my order. 10 minutes before I was charged. This is unacceptable.

04/09/2026: As part of the Japan exhibition, we had lunch at Rose Bakery. Frankly, it was a dish worthy of a bland canteen: dry, breaded chicken with no air, and a Coleslaw so overly mustardy it was sickening. This dish really needs to be rethought. The prices are on the Left Bank, but the service and taste are not.

02/09/2026: This is a place I really love! I always used to have the carrot cake, but this time I tried the seasonal Japanese pumpkin peanut kinako cake and it was so delicious. I always feel comfortable and happy whenever I come here :)

10/09/2026: The McFlurries are €4.70 for a ridiculously small portion, and the same goes for the fries (double cheddar). It's a shame that for products that are getting more and more expensive, you're putting less and less of them in.

03/09/2026: Edited following McDonald's response: Thanks to the "automated" messages you reply to for everyone! Don't act surprised and actually take the reviews into account. A 2.3-star rating for a restaurant really means there are problems! Even the tax office doesn't get such a bad rating! Isn't this part of your DNA? EVERYONE is complaining! Even the delivery driver said, "Oh, but it's always like this with them." You should review your team and your restaurant's management; it would be more sensible to take the time to respond to comments while pretending nothing happened! What nerve! Unbelievable. Uber Eats order yesterday, 2 meals, the delivery driver brought it after a 30-minute wait. It was a bag with four drinks. We called the delivery driver to see if he'd given us the wrong bag. He said no, but kindly offered to go to McDonald's to get the correct bag and told us to call McDonald's. We called and immediately told them we only had four drinks, even though it was supposed to be two meals with four hamburgers, two drinks, and nuggets. They told us to tell the driver to come back or file a complaint with Uber Eats. But we were starving at 9 PM, and the incredibly kind driver offered to go back. He called McDonald's back and said it was fine, but that McDonald's initially refused, claiming it was a scam we were trying to rip off. After speaking with several managers, they finally agreed (rip off what?! We got the bag with four drinks, and we even told them on the phone to give us the bag with the drinks, but the person on the phone said no, it was pointless). The delivery driver arrives with the order, and BAM, two of the four hamburgers are still missing. It's unbelievable how many things are left out of an order, and it's not the first time. We figured it was just human error, but we still tried Uber Eats again. But that's it for McDonald's Tignieu. You really should check your orders before handing them out!

01/09/2026: September 1, 2026 Honestly, it had been a long time since I'd been back to McDonald's, and seeing the comments, I thought the place must have really gone downhill. In the end, the service is decent, the food too, nothing shocking there. The real downside is clearly the cleanliness: several dirty tables, chairs with grease stains… it gives a bad impression right from the start. A shame, because the rest is pretty good.

26/09/2026: Extremely slow service. The products and services did not match the order. The products remade to match the order didn't have their sauce inside. And to top it all off, they refused to refund the undelivered items. In short, avoid McDonald's.

18/09/2026: We were served by Lisa, and the service was pleasant and respectful. However, the overall experience at this McDonald's was rather disappointing. There are frequent oversights with takeout orders. The burgers and fries arrive lukewarm most of the time. Sometimes orders are ready, but we have to wait 5 to 10 minutes before receiving them.

06/07/2026: I simply came in for a coffee and hadn't noticed that credit cards were accepted for purchases over €15. When it came time to pay, the waitress rolled her eyes and pointed out that it was clearly displayed everywhere. Mistakes happen, but being condescending to customers is unacceptable. A little more consideration and courtesy would have been appreciated.

30/06/2026: Great place for lunch. Decent prices and tasty food. We had the moules, which were very good, and the chicken, which was a good size, well cooked and tasty. This and two drinks cost 37 Euro.
