28/11/2024: My hotel was near here and I decided to have brunch here. The food was perfect. I had a salad, with bread, egg, bacon and avocado. The filtered coffee was delicious too. The service was excellent.

La carte est variée et plutôt élégante, nous avons très bien mangé .
04/09/2024: Ho cenato con la mia famiglia il primo giorno di vacanza in questa splendida località ed ho avuto il dispiacere di cenare con la mia famiglia (formata da 4 persone) in questo locale... Abbiamo mangiato un tagliere di salumi e 3 pizze, nulla di ché visto che risultavano crude e una l'abbiamo fatta mettere nel cartone per cuocerla meglio il giorno successivo.
La cameriera non parlava assolutamente italiano e ci sta ma quello che più mi ha fatto arrabbiare a parte il conto salato è la mancanza di buone maniere della barista la quale dopo aver visto che eravamo italiani mi ha portato una birra con molti fondi dizucchero (1 o 2 bustine di zucchero) imbevibile e disgustosa...un complimento comunque lo voglio fare alla proprietaria che invece di affrontare il problema (e cioè prendere provvedimenti con la barista) scarica il tutto sul solito turista....

10/09/2024: First of all this was a great restaurant. Great atmosphere, very good service and the food was excellent. The cooking and creativity was on another level.
The thing I would highlight is a completely extraordinary dessert. Again the level of creativity was over the standards. We had one of the best
chocolate hearts that I’ve ever tasted, accompanied with a caramel ice cream, a banana smoothie and a passion fruit ice cream. We also had a cheese plate with local cheese. The last dessert was a combination of 5 different desserts. There was the same banana smoothie, a chocolate mousse with pecan nuts on top, a panne cotta, a peach compote and lastly a citrus cream.
The starters were also very delicious and creative. We had a plate with salmon, onions, guacamole and tomatoes. There is not much to say but it was very delicious.
For the main course we had a super delicious and a perfectly prepared and perfectly seasoned steak and some vegetables.
I would love to come back again.
I will have to give my compliments to the chef and I appreciate a chef with that amount of creativity.

29/11/2024: Arriving on Wednesday, November 27 around 4:30 p.m., the young woman asked me, as soon as I walked through the door, if it was on site or to take away. And afterwards, she asked me (twice anyway!) to go sit down and read the menu with a QR code. Ok, I go to a new place, I get my bearings, I look on the wall to see if they already make the drink I want, I take a minute to look...and I get reframed! We're not at school... She was in a hurry to close at 5, didn't want to take on new customers? Incomprehensible, disappointing... So no, this place is neither cool nor pleasant.
29/11/2024: A good compromise if you need to work the entire day. Slightly overpriced but nice coffee and relaxed atmosphere. Decent WiFi even when very busy.
There are not savoury options though, but sweets only and nothing gluten free. We were politely asked not to eat a mandarin we brought even when we had ordered two coffees, a cookie and a piece of banana bread… (which was not exactly fresh in my opinion). Also to note they close at 17, if you need to work longer hours..

24/08/2024: Accueil souriant, chaleureux et décontracté (Joanna a été élue à l’unanimité « serveuse la plus sympathique de l’année »). Plats excellents et réalisés à la perfection, le vin était également très bon, le dressage soigné. Jolie décoration, salle climatisée (ni trop, ni trop peu). Parfait parfait !

Comment to help users choose another restaurant; under no circumstances should you read any response from the establishment.
25/06/2025: L'Ecluse, or how to lower the bar, close to L'Echouage. A welcome with a bar overflowing with dead bottles gives us the opportunity to discover that the young manager seems closer to a therapy session than to opening Chardonnay. He even tells us not to come. The show begins with an adorable waiter, helpless in the face of the misery of the customers' experience. Hours of waiting, clumsy €24 platters pass in front of us; the customers prefer to laugh it off. The principle of the starter consists of putting a sort of egg in cold whipping cream with undercooked asparagus. Let's move on. It's simply disgusting. The tartare will resemble more the idea I have of the chef's brain once under my boot than anything else. In short, a pasty baby food. We capitulate, like our table neighbors, avoiding setting the establishment on fire to complete the show. Kudos to the employees of this venue, which is clearly more of a comedy show than a catering service. In short, €120 or more for lousy food, but what a dinner show!
