09/07/2025: Poor service, not all ordered dishes were delivered, kitchen closed, we had staggered dinners. Long waits. Contemptuous and pathetic "boss." Frustrating evening. No solution provided. Comment to help users choose another restaurant; under no circumstances should you read any response from the establishment.

25/06/2025: L'Ecluse, or how to lower the bar, close to L'Echouage. A welcome with a bar overflowing with dead bottles gives us the opportunity to discover that the young manager seems closer to a therapy session than to opening Chardonnay. He even tells us not to come. The show begins with an adorable waiter, helpless in the face of the misery of the customers' experience. Hours of waiting, clumsy €24 platters pass in front of us; the customers prefer to laugh it off. The principle of the starter consists of putting a sort of egg in cold whipping cream with undercooked asparagus. Let's move on. It's simply disgusting. The tartare will resemble more the idea I have of the chef's brain once under my boot than anything else. In short, a pasty baby food. We capitulate, like our table neighbors, avoiding setting the establishment on fire to complete the show. Kudos to the employees of this venue, which is clearly more of a comedy show than a catering service. In short, €120 or more for lousy food, but what a dinner show!

30/08/2024: Fantastic friendly staff, atmosphere was chill but still had life. They sell Irish tayto which was perfect, and the Guinness was as good as back home

17/09/2024: Petit resto hyper chaleureux, cosy et un personnel très très attentionné. Carte très sympa avec des classiques ( cagouilles) mais aussi des créations (tartare d’algue par exemple) le patron est un vrai passionné ,un bonheur d’échanger avec lui. Je ne suis pas allé dans un restaurant de ce genre depuis quelques décennies. Je recommande fortement.

14/09/2024: Très bon restaurant, les fruits de mer étaient excellent et le serveur très gentil et très bon conseiller surtout pour le vin. Très bonne expérience je recommande.

16/12/2024: This is one of the few delicious burgers I eat while traveling around Chamonix. If you want to eat indoors, you have to go to the second floor, but they are crowded together. The feeling of a good restaurant-!! If you see it passing by, I recommend finding it and trying it. I think it was around 19 euros for a classic burger + fizz fries + cola! In fact, there is nothing that tastes good around here... I think Cool Cat vs. Burger House will be slightly different depending on your taste.

06/07/2025: It was excellent! And the orange tart was truly a miracle of flavor! A big congratulations to Yanis and Eduardo, who are in the kitchen and whom I had the pleasure of meeting to compliment them on this succulent tart. I'll definitely be back! I also salute the two servers who were super efficient in managing numerous tables, including ours, which was well-stocked! Thank you for everything!

22/09/2024: We stopped without reservation at this restaurant and were well received with our small/large dog. From starter to dessert we enjoyed good fresh and local produce.

13/09/2024: It was while passing by it several times that we said to ourselves, let's try. Given the freshness, meal in the room: decor without interest, fortunately because the party is on the plates. Very careful menu from starter to dessert, garnished dishes full of flavors. We loved the dessert: chestnut ice cream on a bed of chestnuts, whipped cream and pesto... to die for.

04/07/2025: Very good but very expensive. Read the menu carefully. It's €28/person for 2 people for a Catalan paella with 4 shrimp and 2 pieces of octopus, pasta, and bacon. An aperitif but no wine. It seems there were no local customers, and the restaurant was far from full. Well shaded.

25/01/2025: We had a very good meal, the setting is nice, the food is good. We took the local menu which has very good value for money. The servers were all very friendly, a warm welcome and really pleasant service. The only downside is not linked to the restaurant or the team but to a family with a young child next to us who threw his toys, screamed and even threw bread on the table opposite where he There was a family there (also with their young child but very very quiet) I know that this comment will attract some wrath but too bad, respect for others is important, children if we can't manage them we don't take them to the restaurant.

07/07/2025: I know this authentic bistro seems very busy at the end of the day. Through an acquaintance, I had made a reservation. So the only problem, probably due to the lack of space in the bar and dining room, is the noise from the bar's patrons echoing into the table-service dining area, especially when people are leaning against the bar in part of the small corridor leading to the restaurant. It's a shame there isn't a wine list, but probably because of the large number of bottles you can consume with your eyes. But a lovely evening.
