28/10/2024: A very good discovery! A very pleasant place, truly top service with a friendly host who takes the time. The very positive point: it is not basically a vegan place but you can find an entirely plant-based menu with quality cuisine. It's too rare unfortunately but here you will find what you're looking for. I will return without any hesitation and I will happily recommend it :)

01/09/2024: Disappointed... Visited to celebrate my 40th birthday. The services offered are not up to par with a gourmet restaurant. To begin with, the ingredients used are not of quality, tough meat, my 5-year-old son spat out several pieces because he couldn't chew them, frozen rolls, not acceptable for a gourmet restaurant. At no time during the meal did we find a superior quality product on our plate, only cheap products. As for the control of the products, total nothingness, bad flavor combination. Beef (from Bourguigon) masala with mushroom soup not really harmonious in terms of taste. As a starter, sea bass is ok but served with tatziki! It's not a popular recipe, nothing more common! The redfish and its rice prepared with verbena, we no longer felt the taste of the food, we only smelled the verbena. The round of veal vein as hard as a sole... Imagine the scene, you are supposed to be in a refined place and you are there, spreading your elbows and forcing your knife to finish your meat, position elegant and consistent with the advertised standing of the establishment. Taste-wise I can't say it was bad but I can't say it was very good either. The dessert is visually pretty, but not balanced, tastes ordinary and much too sweet. Note that the children's menu is not at all suitable for children since they are the same dishes offered to adults but in reduced quantities. My daughter ate her meat and nothing else, not even dessert. My son ate the few pieces of meat he managed to chew and his dessert. For the service, we arrived at 7:30 p.m. and left at 10:45 p.m. An extremely long and unjustified service given the low attendance that day. Only 3 tables occupied when we arrived, very few people, we didn't immediately understand why there was so much waiting, especially since we were with 2 young children. With such a long service, the expected moment of relaxation became an ordeal, a moment of stress and annoyance where we only told our children to be quiet. Very bad experience. Still regarding the service, we also didn't understand why, a couple who arrived well 30 minutes after us were served before us, even though we had endless waits between each course. The setting, nothing exceptional, certainly a view of the vineyards but an access path to the restaurant which passes along the terrace where we eat... At the end of the meal we were no longer hungry not because the portions were generous but because after waiting we were no longer hungry. Last point, a cocktail of the day was presented to us at the start of the meal. We are told the list of ingredients, ending with “ancestral method caramel”. Not being a consumer of alcohol, we did not know that the ancestral method was an alcohol, we thought that it was the caramel which bore this name, especially as the cocktail was very sweet and strong in ginger, it was difficult to detect the taste of alcohol. Being a little-known alcohol it would be wise to inform customers that it is an alcohol. All this with the aim that other parents face like us, that is to say let their children taste their cocktails generously. When we see the prices we expected to have a good time, eat well, leave satisfied and relaxed but we left just being fed up, and with children annoyed by the fatigue generated by this extended service. We just wanted it to finally end and leave. If you don't find original and sophisticated recipes, quality products, or good service, it is not a gourmet restaurant. The only things that make this restaurant gourmet are the prices and the appearance of the dishes which are very well presented.

23/08/2024: We ate at Montanais after our civil wedding ceremony. Everything was perfect. The team was very accommodating during the organization and the service was excellent on the day. The food was delicious, everyone loved it. We have eaten here several times in the past and our expectations are consistently exceeded. Thank you so much !

14/08/2024: A superb discovery that this little restaurant where everything is "homemade". The menu is short, a sign of the miason fact, but everything is delicious and elaborate. There is a choice of interior with air conditioning, very popular in these hot weather, as well as a terrace for those who prefer... The couple, who recently took over the place, are both passionate and very helpful and attentive to their customers. The plates are delicious and generous. You will feel like at home, or better, like staying with friends...! If you pass through Montélimar, don't miss the Aubergine! You will have a deliciously delicious time there!

11/11/2024: The kebab is not filled at all Even if the customer says it to the kebabier without mentioning the smell of the air conditioning which is just terrible I don't recommend going to the snack bar in the center which is much tastier, fuller and more welcoming.
