01/07/2026: Fun, moody tiki bar catering to a friendly, diverse crowd. The beachy decorations and drinks keep their public entertained and delighted by the dozens of fruity flavored cocktails unfolding over a multi page menu, made by friendly bartenders, and served in ceramic tiki mugs. They have many bar seats, booths, and a private room in back. We most enjoyed the drink with chacha in its name.

30/06/2026: We stopped here for drinks when we were in Paris and it was lovely! The staff are incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable about the drinks. They're very open with recommendations! The interior was great. We got there early and left before the FIFA crowd got too intense, which was perfect for us.

01/07/2026: The best burgers in Le Havre! I have about 5 restaurants on rotation in this town when I come for business. I found this place last year. I have been here 3 times in the past 15 months, every time is better than the previous. Damian the owner is a great guy, high energy always smiling! Oh yeah, the chicken wings and mozzarella sticks are damn good too!

22/06/2026: Yesterday, the longest day of 2026, I went to this restaurant for dinner with my wife and adult daughter. The welcome was fine. We were shown to a nice table inside. The menu board only offered two- or three-course set menus. When we inquired, the owner explained that we could order just an appetizer, just a main course, or also dessert. We opted for two appetizers and three main courses. We also ordered a large bottle of water and a rosé from the three available options, choosing the best value. We can't understand how this restaurant has received so many five-star ratings. The service was okay, and the wait was reasonable. The food deserves four stars; there's room for improvement. Now for the major drawback: payment is made at the bar with the owner. The first bill charged us for the full meal at €37 x 3. The second bill was €15 cheaper. When checking the bill, we only focused on the price of the food. It wasn't until we got back to our apartment that we looked at it again and realized he had deliberately charged us for the most expensive rosé. His trick didn't work with the food, but it did with the wine. To me, that's a rip-off. It's a real shame; that's how you lose customers. We certainly won't be visiting this restaurant again, even though we're still in Rennes for a few more days. Regards, Günter

19/06/2026: A charming little restaurant, bursting with flavor, with a warm welcome. The menu is revisited each season, and the prices reflect the quality of the food. They offer a selection of excellent wines, both white and red, offering a true journey through wine. The owner, a true epicurean, has a deep understanding of winemaking methods, geology, and the terroirs that make up his cellar. The menu, written on a chalkboard, is meticulously detailed, and as soon as you sit down, it whets your appetite. The presentation of the dishes is elegant and colorful, with new offerings each season. It evokes memories of yesteryear, flavors, and aromas reminiscent of our mothers' cooking. I highly recommend this restaurant to those who appreciate good, homemade ingredients.

16/07/2026: Homemade crepes, with a huge selection on the menu, and they're delicious too. Excellent value for money.

14/07/2026: FOOD POISONING!!! My whole family got sick after eating at this crêperie! Vomiting and diarrhea! The crêpes were disgusting; I can't even imagine the lack of hygiene in the kitchen and the poor quality of the food… this restaurant should be shut down. It's unacceptable. Avoid it at all costs; never eat there!

24/03/2026: The menu wasn't misleading; when it came to homemade, it was truly homemade. However, the duck confit with gratin dauphinois, or other traditional French dishes, were tasteless, dry, and clearly mass-produced reheated fare. It's a shame because the location is nice and the service is quite efficient.

01/11/2025: The welcome at this restaurant is warm and friendly. My starter, a stracciatella with roasted tomato cream, olive oil, and basil, was delicious, fresh, and generous. I loved it! I highly recommend it. A little tip for those who like spicy food: add several drops of Tabasco sauce. It's a perfect match! Their country bread is fresh and crusty, which greatly enhances the experience. Well done to the whole team! Keep up the good work!

The owner welcomes you with humor and, above all, a big smile. At Monica, Chez David, we go back every time we come to La Plagne Soleil, whether for lunch or dinner. Top team, top food. 15/04/2026: We went as a group of four. The waiter's friendliness couldn't compensate for the kitchen problems. It took 20 minutes between the first and fourth people being served. The food was average. And to top it all off, our coffee arrived cold.
