12/06/2026: Major communication problem between colleagues. We had reserved a table on the terrace the day before for 7:30 pm. Upon arrival, the waiter refused us, saying there were no reservations for the terrace??? Without any apology or alternative, he left us stranded, blaming the situation on his colleague. We had come specifically for this! I think this waiter is completely unprofessional...

09/07/2026: Disappointed by this place. There's very little homemade food, for example, the fries... The hamburger was very sparsely filled, the thin ground beef patty was overcooked and very dry because it was precooked, and the egg mayonnaise was overcooked... Even the Caesar salad was mediocre and surprising because it contained grated Gruyère cheese (dried out, of course 😢). I didn't see a single dish that looked like the photos on the MAPS page. The quality/price ratio is completely unacceptable.

02/04/2026: We went for a couple of drinks before heading to the centre for a meal. The first beers we were served were fine, fizzy and tasted ok. The barmaid who served us was lovely and personable. However, the second beers we got were completely flat. I therefore went back to the bar to ask if the gas was on and if we could get alternative drinks as they tasted horrible. The barman I spoke to (possibly Australian, looked out of the 90s and rude) proceeded to argue with me and told me that some drinks were good and others weren’t and there wasn’t anything they could do about it. I said that they weren’t nice to drink so didn’t want them. He then reluctantly swapped them for a lager (I had bought more expensive drinks). These were also flat. I couldn’t be bothered arguing again so we left. I suggest he gets a grip of his attitude and sort it out as it’s not pleasant. You really don’t expect this when what you are served isn’t good and they can even see there was no gas. It was like he argued for the sake of arguing.

30/03/2026: Simply the best place for live music in all of La Plagne, super professional and friendly staff, the "mine" atmosphere is incredible, I can only recommend it!!

24/04/2026: Yes, yes, if you place your order by phone, the remote control will only be prepared when you arrive, and you'll have to wait a long time, 45 minutes or even 1 to 2 hours. Why doesn't Luc ask one of his friends to help him? If you're tired of waiting, I suggest you go to the chip shop "Le Palais de la Frite" in Thumeries. You'll see that it's much faster there. Otherwise, Luc is friendly and welcoming.

12/06/2026: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food is good and the service is decent. However, a major drawback is the state of the restrooms. The smell is so strong it's practically impossible to use them. There's a musty, moldy odor, which is really unpleasant for customers. Management needs to get a qualified professional involved to identify and resolve this problem, as it's unacceptable for customers to have to endure such conditions. It's a shame, because it spoils the overall experience.

They don't skimp on the size, and you really get the feeling that for once, it's worth paying €10 for the sandwich alone (unlike some fast food places...). There's something for everyone, maybe a bit too much, so avoid choosing a weird combination. Personally, I always get the Gargantua.

Thank you so much for that.) 1. The people. The family who runs the place is absolutely lovely. They welcome me with open arms every time I visit and make me feel like I belong here. I see them doing the same for so many people who, like me, come back year after year, even decade after decade (one lady told me last week that she's been coming here for over 50 years). An atmosphere of peace, happiness, and serenity envelops people as soon as they step through the door. They are simply at home. I know that, like me, they think of Kervi and the welcome they receive there when they are away. It warms the heart to know that this place exists, with its moments of happiness and such a warm and generous welcome. Of course, we are on Belle-Île, but the hospitality of the Kervi family reaches a truly exceptional level. It's not just a place where you can find excellent bread; it's a place where you can be more yourself than anywhere else. 2. The Breton far, prepared according to a secret family recipe. It sells out quickly, so I enjoy it at breakfast so as not to miss out! The first time a neighbor took me here to taste the Breton far, ten years ago, I hadn't yet grasped its full delight; But when you're away, you feel the need to return to Kervi to savor a slice. I often see people joyfully enjoying generous slices of far breton, immersed in the happy atmosphere of reunion that reigns around the tables. 3. I also love the little grocery store where I can find everything—fresh produce, canned goods, frozen foods—to prepare simple meals at home, as well as local vegetables and cheese, a wide selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks (to enjoy at home or in the café, perhaps while making music), and unique souvenirs. These souvenirs, I don't know why, have more value in my eyes when I buy them at Kervi rather than elsewhere on Belle-Île... they're the little things that maintain my connection to the place once I'm back home. And of course, excellent bread, morning croissants, Breton far, and Breton cake... 4. The music... Thanks to the generosity and open-mindedness of the musicians and the local community, I, the shy Canadian I was ten years ago, was encouraged to join the circle with my tin whistle and then my flute, even though I didn't play very well at first. But they continued to welcome me warmly; people would even come and hug me simply because I was there, playing the flute. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this place, these people, and their welcome have completely changed my life, my self-confidence, and my joy... and not just in terms of music: I feel like I walk with my head held higher now because I have the right to sit in the circle and let loose. Since then, throughout my travels, I have searched in vain for an equivalent; Nothing compares to sitting around a table at Kervi.
