The staff are friendly but sadly the manager is ill equipped to deal with customers where she is aggressive and ill mannered where we would struggle to come back because of her. She is not for customer service at all!

01/03/2026: We came to Paris on holiday from Naples, Italy, hoping to enjoy a pleasant evening with our family. On February 27 at around 7:00 PM, we visited Bugsys (15 Rue Montalivet, 75008 Paris) as a group of 10 people. Unfortunately, this place turned into a deeply humiliating experience for us. Before ordering, we asked a female staff member about the Happy Hour and were assured. Based on that confirmation, we ordered large glasses of Moretti around 7:00 PM. However, when the bill arrived, we realized that we had been charged full price instead of the Happy Hour rate. When we politely questioned this, an older woman who identified herself as the manager responded in a very rude and dismissive manner. Instead of calmly resolving the misunderstanding, she told us that it was 8:30 PM and Happy Hour was over — even though our order had clearly been placed at 7:00 PM. What made the situation worse was the way we were spoken to in front of other customers, staff, and families. It was extremely embarrassing and disrespectful. As visitors to Paris, we expected professionalism and basic courtesy — not public humiliation. A restaurant is not only about food and drinks, but also about respect and customer service. Sadly, we did not feel respected here. I hope the ownership takes this feedback seriously so that no other family has to experience the same disappointment. — Lorenzo Mario

18/03/2026: I've been waiting 35 minutes for my click and collect order. I called the restaurant, and they told me there are only two of them with several orders! But so far, there's no one inside, and only one car at the drive-thru! Two guys came out to give an order, so logically, since it was a woman who answered the phone, there should be at least three of them, not two! Honestly, the more time passes, the worse the restaurant gets; it's becoming deplorable! It's a shame; from now on, I'll eat at Burger King, KMC, or La Ruche! I'm really very angry after this last visit!

10/04/2026: A very good experience, although the daily starter was a bit small (only 3 slices in the tuna tatami), but the pistachio flan was truly delicious. The total came to €56 (daily starter + main course and dessert from the menu + a glass of wine and a café crème), a little pricey but not surprising in the heart of Paris. The service was very pleasant.

06/04/2026: The second time I ate yesterday, I brought my friend, because I was bragging that you serve well and the food is delicious, what happened was that I was very disappointed because our order was the grilled seafoods but the shrimps already had a smell, they weren't fresh and secondly, the bread was even worse, it was so hard it couldn't be eaten, like a rock. We asked your waiter to crush it and he couldn't crush it so we didn't enjoy the 160€ we paid 😞

05/04/2026: We often write reviews, and unfortunately this was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time. At first glance, Chez Freddy in Nice Old Town looks very promising. It’s located in a prime area, constantly busy, with a strong flow of people — which gives the impression of quality and popularity. Unfortunately, this is very misleading. The service is extremely disorganized. The staff seemed lost and uncoordinated. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like drinks, cutlery, and even plates. Nothing arrived without insisting, and there was no sense of attention or professionalism. The food, which should be the highlight — especially for a place claiming seafood specialties — was simply not good. We ordered the moules frites (plat du jour), expecting a classic done well. It was a complete disaster. The mussels were poorly prepared and lacked any real flavor. We also ordered a pasta, which was shockingly bad — honestly worse than something you would casually make at home without much effort. Completely unacceptable for a restaurant in such a prime location. What keeps this place full is clearly not quality, but its location and the illusion created by the crowd. People see it busy and assume it must be good — exactly what happened to us. The owner appears very active, constantly moving things around and trying to attract more customers, but that energy does not translate into service or food quality. This is a well-known place, but based on our experience, it does not deserve its reputation. If it were possible, this would be a half-star review. Overall: excellent location, very poor execution. We would not recommend this place

16/03/2026: A disaster... I came Saturday evening to pick up a click and collect order. The app told me to go to the counter, I waited 10 minutes only to be told at the counter to validate the order at the kiosk. I went to the kiosk and waited... and waited, and waited... 40 minutes later, I went to see the manager who told me the order hadn't been processed. He offered me an extra box of nuggets, but that's not the real issue... there's a problem with staff management and processes that needs fixing. I'll drive further next time, but that's it for Mesnil.

13/03/2026: Over an hour for an order!! Slow service! I won't be going back to Mesnil-Esnard! They're much more efficient in Tourville-la-Rivière.

05/12/2024: Deplorable quality of service, no smile even though there were not even 5 in the restaurant, spilled the coke on the tray, not a lot of cheddar even though we paid extra, overcooked burger, wrong sauce, and also when They asked for salt at the checkout, feeling like they were pissed off. I advise against it

05/12/2024: A really long wait at the drive-thru... we're here for "fast" food, we can limit ourselves to leaving the car in the drive-thru line and going to eat at the McDonald's next door so that the line won't have moved

24/03/2026: Today, two smiling and very friendly employees came to our table to offer us a tasting. The cheddar stars were excellent. Then we tried three new sauces: the mushroom sauce was very good, the lemon sauce was light and delicate, and finally, the Japanese sauce was very spicy. I will definitely keep these new items in mind for my next orders.
