20/03/2026: The waiter was rather limited. He was a young, short Asian man. He wasn't courteous; he didn't say hello and lacked the same sense of hospitality as the owner.

17/03/2026: After being treated at the Forensic Medical Unit (UMJ), one of the structures within the forensic medicine service, I was given approximately 7 days of sick leave: "A deplorable experience. I was the victim of a physical assault by several customers (group violence), with two aggravating factors for these customers on the terrace... while I was on the public street in front of the establishment. I filed a complaint at the Waldeck-Rousseau police station, and due to the ongoing investigation, I cannot publish the full report at this time, but the procedure has begun. In this case, the penalties are severe... Security and customer control are completely inadequate."

24/02/2026: Mixed feelings. Moldy ceiling and walls, cold and questionable atmosphere. Wooden plates were very unhygienic. One wonders what state the kitchen is in... Very good wine and the dish was okay for the price. Not bad, but nothing to write home about. The chimichurri needs improvement... In short, not bad for buying a bottle of wine to take away.

03/02/2026: It was tasty and a good portion, except for the pepper sauce which was anything but runny! (I wondered if it had been microwaved!) We were seated on the terrace, and the chairs were very uncomfortable (just wooden slats). We had three different servers throughout the evening, and none of them mentioned that we CANNOT pay by credit card. Cash ONLY; we had to go to a nearby ATM, but it wasn't there. The number of employees shouldn't be declared (in my opinion), just like the revenue. Well, it's Marseille, after all... Despite the food being very good, we won't be returning because of this and the uncomfortable seating.

13/03/2026: Excellent wings and tenders! The chicken was super crispy on the outside and very tender on the inside. The sauces were delicious and the portions generous. Honestly, one of the best I've ever tasted; I highly recommend it.

26/03/2026: I went to the drive-thru at lunchtime and was surprised by a price increase on some items in the children's menu. I mentioned at the time of payment that it would be helpful to specify the extra charges, but the response was, "Well, it's been a while." Then I went to check my order in the parking lot, and my fries/potatoes had been thrown into the bag. I can't seem to upload the photo, but I can send it if needed.

23/02/2026: The restaurant was absolutely infested with mice; I spent my entire lunch watching them scurrying under the tables. What's more, I felt quite ill afterward. I don't even want to imagine what's lurking in the kitchen. And the whole staff seems completely indifferent to the situation and the customers.

05/04/2026: Great Lunch spot with good food and beautiful views from the terrace. In season, they have Oysters from Poget, one of the top purveyors from Normandie. Oysters and a good Burger? Why not.

29/03/2026: We had lunch at La Mandra during their spring reopening. A very warm welcome, delicious and generous portions, reasonable prices, and a lovely setting! We had a wonderful time, thank you again :)

01/01/2026: We arrived at 1:30 pm without a reservation and had a very good meal. The setting was very pleasant, the food was excellent, made with fresh ingredients, and the waitresses were very friendly.

07/12/2025: I just had a chicken sandwich, it was excellent, and I especially loved the added spice on the fries. The owner and staff are fantastic; I highly recommend it. The restaurant is clean, and thank you for the thoughtful touch at the end of the meal (the glass of tea). I'll be back.

06/12/2025: I am very disappointed with my order from this fast-food restaurant. The person was extremely rude, even yelling at me for no good reason. This complete lack of respect for customers is unacceptable. Furthermore, my sandwich was simply wrapped in aluminum foil, without even a box, which gives an impression of negligence and poor hygiene. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.
