04/04/2026: Frankly, I was very disappointed today. My McFish was clearly burnt, the bun was black, and it tasted really bitter. With McDonald's prices having gone up so much lately, you'd expect a level of quality you'd expect from a more expensive restaurant. Furthermore, the wait was long, and it was obvious the staff was overwhelmed. There were a lot of customers and not enough employees to handle the flow. The result: rushed orders and poorly prepared food. At this price point, it would be normal to hire more staff to ensure decent service and better quality. I hope this will be taken into account, because the experience is becoming increasingly disappointing.

04/04/2026: Finally, a McDonald's that doesn't want to work! My son and the bus, returning from Italy after a 9-hour drive, wanted to eat at this fine establishment! Well, no such luck!! When they arrived, the doors were closed, only to be reopened as soon as the thirty or so disappointed high school students had turned their backs 👍 What a fantastic manager this restaurant has, taking such good care of the physical and mental health of their team! Yeah, serving 30 meals in 1 hour is way too much. McDonald's France knows how to pick its teams 😁

09/03/2026: What a lovely cafe and wonderful staff. We stayed nearby and needed somewhere for dinner and a drink and the waitress was lovely and we made it for happy hour even better!

They have absolutely no respect for the delivery drivers. When I read the reviews, it's clear the customers aren't respected either!

27/03/2026: - MAKE SHAPKO GREAT AGAIN - I’ve been going to Shapko for about fifteen years now, roughly once or twice a quarter. What, until a few years ago, was a high-quality venue for lovers of live music is slowly but surely losing the very essence of what once made it so prestigious. The clientele has grown younger and, frankly, deteriorated. Gone are the well-heeled forty-somethings who used to fill the place not so long ago. As for the service, the days of the exceptional staff, who played such a key role in shaping the atmosphere, are clearly over. I ordered a beer €9, left a tip €2, yet the barman didn’t even bother to look me in the eye. Not a word, not a smile. You’re simply there to consume and pay. As for having a good evening, that’s apparently your concern, not the staff’s. Shapko remains a venue that stands above average in the Old Town of Nice. But it seems this is now largely down to its reputation. Without a proper reset in terms of both clientele and service, it is, quite unmistakably, living on borrowed time. Please, make Shapko great again.

27/02/2026: A lovely, pleasant place with a pleasant outdoor terrace and a very typical dining room. As for the food, I thoroughly enjoyed a delicious platter of perfectly cooked prawns. And a wonderful chocolate fondant.

12/12/2025: My colleagues and I took our lunch break in this "restaurant" to eat. The pizzas, supposedly homemade, had a bad dough, the atmosphere was gloomy, and the decor left much to be desired. We felt like we were entering a cave rather than a restaurant, not to mention the owner's comment about the door being half open. We were not happy with the service provided by this restaurant, and this place is not recommended.

16/04/2026: Incredible!! We came on Saturday, April 4th with my mother before the Star Academy concert. McDonald's was already very busy at 6:02 PM. There was little wait at the self-service kiosk despite a slight issue with the receipt roll. By 6:14 PM we had finished our order and were seated. By 6:16 PM, we were already being served. By 6:32 PM we had already left McDonald's to make room for others, as there was a small queue outside. We weren't asked to leave; we simply left on our own. I must emphasize the excellent and rapid quality of service, especially considering how busy the fast-food restaurant was at an unusual time for eating in France. Well done!

24/02/2026: Hello, I'm from Bayonne. I spent a few days in December and February in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, and my friend introduced me to this little bistro, La Cagnotte, where we had our morning coffee, sometimes a glass of white wine, at lunchtime and in the evening. We went for a final drink on the evening of February 14th after a dance at a community center in Montreuil, and to our surprise, it was 11:30 pm, the place was packed, and there was music provided by a DJ dressed all in red. Frankly, it was fantastic, and we left around 1:30 am... whether it's morning, afternoon, or evening. The staff is always excellent, and the welcome is very warm. Plus, the oysters on Saturdays are delicious. Hope to see you again soon. Gilles

07/04/2026: A warm welcome and delicious food; I highly recommend this restaurant. The cooking and seasoning are perfect. The dishes range from classic and well-executed to more adventurous creations. A special mention goes to the blue cheese sorbet with its honey sabayon. A real treat!

17/03/2026: A superb experience! Traveling for work, I discovered this place where the owner's welcome is simply exceptional. You can feel his genuine passion and warm, personal touch. As for the restaurant, the dishes are as refined as they are generous, all at a very reasonable price. It was delicious! The room was also very comfortable and impeccably clean. I will definitely be back, and with great pleasure!

20/11/2025: A nice little snack bar/brasserie in a pretty good location. The food itself isn't anything special, and it's hard to compete with the three local seafood restaurants, which also offer excellent value for money! It's decent enough, but lacks presentation, and the service and welcome are pleasant. However, the prices are a bit high for fish fillets and salads, especially compared to Swan's!

30/10/2025: Lovely atmosphere under the pine trees by the marina. We had good food and drinks for a very reasonable price. Friendly service!

25/12/2025: Avoid at all costs!!! Disgusting. We ordered two poke bowls; the salmon was overcooked, my daughter didn't even eat it! We asked for a vegan poke bowl without a vegan patty, just a little salad, and she charged extra for two ridiculous lettuce leaves—unbelievable! She was dishonest, and I even spoke to the manager. Since she told me my negative review was very gratifying, I'm taking the liberty of writing it.

25/12/2025: Great spot in Courchevel 1850! Prix ta luge et tire toi is a top-notch place: friendly staff, quality equipment, and a super convivial après-ski atmosphere. Ideal for getting kitted out, enjoying a delicious snack, or having a drink with friends. A must-visit in the Forum area!

22/03/2026: Positive points: it was open, we were able to eat. That's where the good news ends. The food was bland and unremarkable, neither good nor substantial. In short, expensive for what it was. And the house wine: absolutely gut-wrenching.
