02/06/2026: Ridiculous! We booked a spot through your website to watch a match. Once we arrived, we discovered that you were only showing France TV and that the advertised match wasn't actually available. We took an Uber specifically to get there, ordered beers, and then had to leave without being able to stay because the very reason for our visit didn't exist. We asked for a refund for the beers, which were still sealed and bottled, but this was refused. For a bar that presents itself as a sports bar, showing the news instead of the advertised sporting events is simply incomprehensible.

01/06/2026: I had reserved a table for the Champions League final. I received an initial automated message to arrive before 5 PM or the table might be given to someone else. I arrived at 4:45 PM. Once there, I was told that my table had been given to someone else because I needed to arrive before 3 PM and that an email had been sent to me. I never received this email. We still went in and our drinks were included in the reservation, but it prevented us from being seated.

12/07/2026: The atmosphere is fantastic. We ordered lunch dishes—quick, hot, and delicious.

31/05/2026: I advise against going on match days when large crowds gather. Numerous firecrackers are thrown at people sitting on the terraces without any intervention from the police stationed right behind them.

17/07/2026: The wait is always endless, whether it's busy or not. The bread is good, but the pizzas are very bland and greasy. The vegan pastries are excellent, but the prices are high for the quality. The staff is never the same and often seems overwhelmed.

11/07/2026: My 5-year-old grandson wanted to go to the toilet...when he went in (with me), the smell of urine and the less-than-ideal cleanliness discouraged him from urinating. Indeed, the cleanliness is really lacking and absolutely needs to be addressed.

03/07/2026: 15 minutes to take a drive-thru order for 4 Happy Meals... the guy made a mistake 10 times. Seriously, very disappointed with this McDonald's + the order was freezing cold. Avoid it.

14/07/2026: It was served piping hot and the service was quite fast.

11/07/2026: My click and collect order was left in a corner, and I waited over 20 minutes for nothing. I asked at the counter what was happening with my order, and the person told me it wasn't their responsibility and that orders take time. I waited another 7 minutes for someone to resolve the issue. The order was cold, so I waited even longer for it to be warmed up. In the end, it took almost 30 minutes for my order, and not even a single apology. Very disappointed.

28/06/2026: Pizza with raw toppings, it really wasn't great. The wine on the menu wasn't available, so the waiter forced us to order a more expensive one. The service was pretentious and unfriendly. I don't recommend it.

07/07/2026: The location is perfect, offering welcome shade in the late afternoon during this heatwave, which is ideal. The service is excellent and friendly. The tapas are delicious, especially the charcuterie and cheese platters.

02/04/2026: I ordered a chicken mayonnaise sandwich. It was absolutely disgusting. The mayonnaise on the bread was sickening, with a few red onions and pickles. Run away!

14/06/2026: Arriving at 1:30 PM, we were told the place would close at 2:00 PM. She saw us arrive and put up the "closed" sign even though we hadn't arrived yet.

05/06/2026: I had a wonderful time at La Taverne. I was greeted by a particularly friendly and smiling woman, which immediately put me at ease. My order was taken quickly, and the service was smooth and efficient throughout the meal. As for the food, I enjoyed a delicious salad, a generously topped pizza, and a dessert to finish on a sweet note. Simple but well-prepared dishes that made for a pleasant experience. A welcoming place where you receive a warm welcome and the service is excellent. I highly recommend it.

12/07/2026: The welcome was friendly, but ordering a duck breast and ending up with a flank steak at the last minute wasn't cool, especially since other people who arrived after us were served before us. I won't be going back.

01/06/2026: Bad experience, bordering on deceptive business practice: the menu outside lists bagels around €4, but the cheapest one actually available is €7.50. That's unacceptable.

25/05/2026: A great spot for a quick and delicious break! The bagels are fresh, generously filled, and made with quality ingredients. The welcome is friendly and the service efficient, ideal when you want to eat quickly without sacrificing flavor. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, with a good selection to satisfy all tastes. A sure bet that I happily recommend!

01/01/2026: A fantastic restaurant in the heart of Tarbes. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly, with a special mention for the two young waiters/waitresses. The food was truly excellent, absolutely delicious; all credit goes to the chef who clearly has a passion for his craft. A wonderful New Year's Eve. Pictured here is the scallop with ginger/lemon sauce and vegetable risotto. A choice I certainly didn't regret, even though I'm a meat lover! Thank you so much!

18/12/2025: Our association, the Rotary Club of Tarbes, held our Annual General Meeting at the La Colonne restaurant. We had a wonderful evening with a very warm welcome, thoughtful touches that made all the difference, and delicious food. I highly recommend them; they are excellent at hosting groups.

01/05/2026: A bar that ruins the lives of all the residents on the street, with techno music and bass that are literally a noise disturbance. >> Small update from last night (2 years later): still a total lack of respect, music blasting, drunks and drug addicts loitering on the sidewalk and shouting, it's unacceptable! In an ideal world, I hope this bar will close its doors in favor of a useful business... one can always dream... the lives of this neighborhood and its actual residents could be so much better without this bar. Do we really have to call the police every time? No management of the people on the "terrace," which is actually the sidewalk, no respect for closing times, the door is constantly open... a nightmare for the neighborhood! PLEASE RESPECT THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE ON THIS STREET.
