Inside or out, they'll always bend over backward to please you. A place I adore, run by a team as friendly as they are attentive, a friendly atmosphere, charming decor, and a warm setting. A million miles from these new, trendy, cold, and soulless places: here, the name takes on its full meaning.

The server, who is also the chef, does everything himself, even turning away customers so as not to penalize those who are present. The menu is simple but generous, and the desserts are warm and delicious. A wonderful place that deserves more customers.

03/02/2026: I've walked past this restaurant for years without ever going in. I was invited to lunch today. What a pleasant surprise! A truly warm welcome. A beautiful, inviting, and comfortable dining room. Impeccable service (and in white shirts). A varied menu and an excellent meal. It's delicious, it's beautiful, and it's expertly prepared. Coffee with a small madeleine—simple but so delightful. I had lunch at a Restaurant with a capital R. Thank you.

24/01/2026: Food arrived before beer. Guinness was served in a regular glass, pretty bad for an Irish pub. Food arrived cold. Fries were tiny, like matchsticks. There was no music. It felt like a funeral. The toilet was decent. The waiter was actually very friendly, but rather slow. Drinks and ketchup were served by a regular customer instead of the waiter himself.

13/12/2024: Good authentic cuisine. Very good service and very friendly staff! I recommend it, I will definitely come back. PS. The frozen margarita and tequila shots are excellent.

24/01/2026: Such kindness, such quality, and such a beautiful setting! We enjoyed an evening meal in an almost familial atmosphere. Everything was impeccable, from the service to the food. The value for money is unbeatable. A huge thank you to all the staff for their warm welcome and attentiveness. I highly recommend this restaurant. Pure bliss.

15/12/2025: Dinner in August 2025. Dishes and children's meals were actually cooked. Quality and taste were excellent. The owner was very friendly.

23/11/2025: Well located in the heart of Saint-Émilion. The chic bistro decor is quite successful. The welcome and service could be a touch warmer, but it's efficient (little waiting). The food is good and well-prepared, even if nothing exceptional. So why only 3 stars? Because we found the price excessive: expect to pay €70-80 per person (excluding drinks, although the wines are reasonably priced). At this price point, you expect quite a few extra touches.

30/01/2026: The woman at reception was impatient and rude to me but the table managers are super friendly and professional I made reservation but I was confused which name I used so when the woman at reception can’t find my name on the list, I show her my phone and she made a face to me telling me it’s not the name I told her. And when she asked me if I’m solo, I didn’t hear her clearly, she almost shouted at me and gave me a very impatient face, throwing me a draft number in my hand. That moment I was very hesitant if I really want to dine here, but when I was seated, the other waiters are so friendly and helpful. The manager came here giving me generous smiles and having some social chat with me, I feel so sorry that the woman destroyed the reputation the other people built for this restaurant. The food is with good quality. The sea bream was grilled perfectly with crunchy skin and tender meats. The desert was a bit out of my surprised because I expected the pear would be separate but then everything is in a sundae glass so the pear creates a lot of water in the bottom and the whipped cream was too thick on top, making it difficult to scoop the ice cream and pear underneath The place is beautiful and elegant. it’s not pretentious but very vibrant, a real life dinning place. It’s noisy but that’s because their business is really good and people can feel relaxation ambiance here.
