20/08/2026: Everything was perfect, fast service

19/08/2026: A family McDonald's meal is getting expensive; you could at least expect cleanliness and fewer flies. This past Monday, August 10th, we ate as a family in Aizenay with flies for company. The tables weren't clean, and we had to ask for them to be cleaned. The service left much to be desired; if we hadn't been paying attention, we would have received a "best of" meal instead of a "maxi best of" meal. Not to mention the liquid sundae I was served—grainy and with hardly any caramel.

12/07/2026: I got food poisoning from a sandwich at that bakery; I'll never go back.

10/07/2026: 6.60 euros for a salad with 90% green salad, 2 radishes and 4 pieces of salmon, that's not cheap, that's robbery!

27/05/2026: The restaurant was very average, and the service needs improvement. The rooms weren't very clean.

24/05/2026: A successful short stay. The hotel is well located in a quiet, well-maintained area. The room was clean and pleasant. Dinner was excellent and breakfast was impeccable. Friendly staff. Thank you 👍

04/09/2026: I particularly enjoy going to the McDonald's in Mamers. It's the closest one to my home. The staff are very friendly, and the dining area and tables are very clean.

03/09/2026: I ordered a Mac deal meal. They served me my tray without ice cream. I went to ask for my ice cream and they told me they had already served it to me. UNACCEPTABLE!

01/09/2026: I strongly advise against this Quick. Just now, the wait for a meal order was 30 minutes... Yes, thirty minutes... And then they offer you a meal deal with a free drink, and suddenly they're out of stock by the time you get your order. And the tray was dirty, as you can see in the photo. In short, I'll go to a competitor next time.

01/07/2026: The current state of the hotel was not at all up to the standard of a 5-star hotel or a Relais & Châteaux, for that matter. The restaurant was not up to the standard of a 1 Michelin star, either. When we arrived at the hotel on a Wednesday afternoon, only one person was working, and she was the receptionist. She somehow found someone to help us with our luggage, and she helped us to get the manoir suite #118 in shape for us. No one had read my email requests for the room; it took a long time to get the room the way we wanted it. We arrived during a canicule. The suite had only one air conditioner, and it was in the bedroom, at the far end of the suite. It could not cool the salon, the entry, the closet or the bathroom at the other end of the suite. Housekeeping staff arrived and with their help, the bed was remade the way we like it. In the bathroom, there were only huge bath towels. We were told that there were no hand towels at this hotel. There was no dish for the soap and nowhere to hang the towels conveniently near the sink. There were no hooks near the shower either. The suite had been renovated but not with the comfort of the guest in mind. When we asked the woman at reception if they had forgotten our fruit plate; one was brought. We asked where the bottles of water were, and we were brought some. We were charged 14€ for what is usually a welcome gift of fruit and 20€ for two bottles of water. In our experience at a 5-star hotel, water and fruit are included in the price of a suite. After we unpacked we took a shower. The floor of the shower was really slippery and dangerous. We are glad that we survived in one piece. We had a disappointing meal at the restaurant. We sat looking at the lovely grounds and that was nice; it was actually the only good thing about our meal. The service was not good—it was very, very slow. The music was not appropriate to the bucolic setting and the food was just okay. The amuse bouche arrived and it was a tomato soup and a savory feuillette. The bread did not have a crunchy crust so Dimitri did not like it. We ordered the fois gras cooked in a bain marie which we usually like. This was not tasty enough. The ceviche entrée was also tasteless. For our main, we ordered the pork. It was so dry, it was like paper. The sauce had no character and there was not enough to moisten the pork. Dimitri liked the white asparagus; Audre thought that they were overcooked. The soufflé was good. Our meal cost 77€. Breakfast on the terrace was adequate but not at a 5-star level.

09/05/2026: May2026 (new) The lunch menu seems to have changed. Although the prices are a bit lower, the quality and portion sizes are different from last year, especially the coffee at the end. Overall, last year's experience made me want to return, but this year's was a bit disappointing. We would like to return if the food could be improved. June2025 Great restaurant and service! Every dish is amazing! The fish is also very delicious, and the surprise is in the details!

17/05/2026: A good compromise considering the fast-food options nearby. We loved it. The fries, the sauces, and the tacos!

22/09/2026: Two stars because it's not the same as it used to be… too long a wait when ordering in the dining room, no service at all, you'd think it was better to use the drive-thru to get served faster. The cheeseburger was maybe thrown in, the pickle was outside on the side of the sandwich.

19/09/2026: Very good welcome this afternoon, with three children, service with a super friendly colleague, the true model of service we wish for.

11/08/2026: She claims to serve water to customers who have drunk too much...!??? And to give high-vis vests to those who walk home? No way?????

19/08/2026: Well… it’s only good if you’re passing through and hungry, otherwise it’s not great. The bread was very dry, the spit was frozen like many others and had been there for a few days already, the kebabs were small and not at all filled. The fries followed the same pattern and were way too salty… I’m from Dijon and when you see an Ekin Kebab like this… it’s tough! It’s a shame because the staff are friendly, but the quality suffers.

04/09/2026: Overall, a good bakery! The bread is really good and the prices are reasonable. My only slight disappointment was the pear tart, which didn't really impress me, but the rest is fine.

For a boss who arrived in a Porsche Cayenne in front of his employees, he didn't even have the courtesy to say hello! He did nothing but criticize them in front of me the only day I went there, unfortunately for him! I have a message for him: respect your employees, and your employees will respect you and your premises. I would have been ashamed to arrive in a Porsche Cayenne in front of employees and not say hello, and to criticize them! Knowing that they work tirelessly to provide good bread to your customers!
