24/08/2026: Stag and Loar, a Guinness nest, and lunch at the Irish-style pub. I had the Fish and Chips, tempura-style for fresh fish, De Luxe. They also have Burgers and other dishes, always De Luxe. Irish beers and wine, in a relaxing, laid-back atmosphere with jazz or slow blues playing. In Talence, almost opposite the Leclerc supermarket. We'll be back.

22/08/2026: This is, I think, the third time I've ordered from Nicolas's food truck. Each time, I've tried a different dish. Each time, I've thoroughly enjoyed it (and I'm of Italian descent, so I'm very hard to please when it comes to pasta). You can tell he cooks with fresh ingredients: the vegetables, the meat, etc. It's a far cry from the frozen food that the bigger chains tend to sell us. The sauces are homemade, prepared on-site, and simmered patiently. The portions are incredibly generous (even for someone with a hearty appetite), and all at a very reasonable price. Honestly, in terms of value for money, I don't know if you can find better anywhere else in Narbonne. And to top it all off, Mr. Nicolas welcomes you to his very clean little restaurant, with impeccable hygiene, in such a kind, warm, and professional manner that you don't ask yourself if you'll come back, but when you'll come back. It's flawless. From the welcome to the food, it's a masterclass. Oh, and he makes his own desserts too! I once ate one of his revamped tiramisu recipes, which was a hit in Italy, no questions asked. Top-notch.

04/09/2026: If you're looking for a restaurant where you're greeted with a smile, in a relaxed atmosphere, with a shaded terrace right in the city center, and where the food is simple, fresh, varied (and delicious), head straight to Café de la Préfecture. It's a family-run establishment, but very professional, where the service is quick and efficient. You'll feel right at home and enjoy a great meal at a very reasonable price. There aren't many places like this left, so take advantage of it while you can!

Everything here is top-notch, except the prices! - Creative cuisine, featuring authentic, pure Corsican imported products, and a rich and varied wine list. - An exceptional setting, in the last remaining carriage of the legendary Orient Express—it's sublime! - The atmosphere is truly immersive, right next to the railway tracks. The gentle hum of the trains below makes you feel like you're actually on the tracks, with Corsican songs playing in the background to keep you grounded. - The service is on par with everything else: very pleasant, smiling, friendly, with a touch of humor, and very attentive without being intrusive. Present but not pushy. In short, top-notch. I particularly recommend starting your culinary journey with a mixed platter of specialties from the Isle of Beauty. Authentic and distinctive. With a good beer (Corsican beers are on the menu), you'll already be transported. The rest of your meal will definitely make you fall in love with Corsican cuisine.
