01/06/2026: Great hotel for the price, and the food is more than decent. However, the hostess's robust charm could be a bit more understated. You're in her house, and if her children are napping on the sofa in the lobby in the morning, you might get a bit of a scolding if you try to walk through before the advertised breakfast time of 8:00, as if you've entered a private space.

07/08/2026: Ligny-en-Barrois is a stopover village, the reason for our visit, on our way to our holiday destination. Arriving at 3 p.m. at the Athéna restaurant, we were able to enjoy a fantastic hamburger despite the late hour. The owner's nephew even went to the bakery to get fresh bread. We've never had such good bread. Tonight, a truly royal couscous. The owner just presented us with a plate of our choice of spicy tomato sauce. Don't hesitate to come and enjoy a delicious meal... And the service was incredibly friendly. Well done to you all.

02/08/2026: The dishes are simple, good, and satisfying. The terrace on this Sunday at lunchtime...a real pleasure... The staff is friendly, helpful, and has a great atmosphere. Everything seems effortless. Don't hesitate to go for a meal or a drink; this is the place for you.

12/09/2026: One of the highlights of our Paris vacation was stumbling on this gem. Hidden off the main streets we were able to sit outside and enjoy the architecture, wonderful cocktails and delicious food.

18/08/2026: It was lovely to stop at this little café-restaurant! The small, shaded terrace is perfect for a refreshing drink. The homemade iced tea is really delicious and not too sweet! I highly recommend it! I didn't give the food any stars, but I'll be back and will rate it accordingly!

05/09/2026: Good kebab, well-made, not greasy, and easy to digest. Unfortunately, this is becoming rare, so a decent establishment deserves recognition. Don't expect any atmosphere, it's a kebab shop... but a lovely shaded terrace makes each visit very pleasant.

21/06/2026: Tonight I was served by someone unfamiliar with the service. I received very poor service, both in terms of quantity and quality. It's a shame because the owner and his partner are always top-notch. It's a pity this third party was less professional.
