02/08/2026: ★☆☆☆☆ I ordered the carnitas taco, and it was completely inedible. It was unbelievably sweet—I don’t think I’ve ever had a taco this bad. The mojito was also far too sweet and tasted like it was made mostly with sugary mixer or syrup. Based on my experience, I wouldn’t recommend this place. If you’re reading the reviews before deciding where to eat, I’d suggest skipping it.

24/02/2026: Very tired God forgotten place with food that reminded me of post war times and where cappuccino tasted more like hot chocolate and costs 4 euros per coffee even though the price on the machine clearly states 2.60 euros. It took 5 min for someone to come out from the kitchen to serve us. Food and deco looked so uninviting that we decided to just order a coffee and leave. I would not recommend.

10/02/2026: Update from January 10, 2026: Back at this cafe and it was very, very good, simple, and inexpensive. Basic but very tasty starters. Main course: roast chicken, super delicious, with green vegetables, potatoes, and jus. Absolutely fantastic, I thoroughly enjoyed it, and it was a generous portion! A small chocolate mousse-style dessert, so very good. I loved it because it was well-prepared and homemade; it was absolutely delicious, well done! Original post: Great food. We had the chicken escalope with tarragon sauce, which was to die for: perfectly tender, flavorful, a delight. The vegetables were great. The welcome was incredibly kind and pleasant; we felt very comfortable. The decor is very nice. In short, a good cafe-style restaurant, but of high quality. Just a slightly smaller selection of starters and desserts, but it's not a big deal. Thank you to the owners.

04/09/2026: Really enjoyed the food. Went back several times while we stayed in Menton. The location is perfect, right by the beach. The guys working there were brilliant, welcoming, funny and friendly. They took good care of us. The service was fast and the cocktails were tasty too! Highly recommend them!

12/06/2026: The food was truly excellent, flavorful, and well-prepared. Unfortunately, the waiter's behavior completely ruined the experience. Throughout the order, he kept asking me to repeat what I wanted, as if he wasn't listening or paying attention. This gave an impression of disorganization and a lack of professionalism. The worst part came when it was time to pay. I paid with a large bill, which seemed to greatly upset the waiter. Since he didn't have enough change, he immediately adopted an unpleasant and arrogant attitude, as if the problem lay with the customer. Instead of handling the situation calmly and professionally, he clearly showed his displeasure at having to search for change. The scene became even more surprising when he finally gave up looking for change and started looking at his phone, while his colleague struggled to find the necessary change. This lack of involvement and respect for the customer is difficult to understand in a public establishment. Finally, as I was leaving the restaurant, he didn't even bother to say goodbye or thank me for my visit. A simple gesture of politeness would have sufficed. It's a real shame, because the quality of the food deserves far better than this cold, casual, and unprofessional service.

20/05/2026: Incredible quick street food. Ordered the 2 taco (2 different meats) with chips for only €11 and it is so worth the money, huge portions and lovely food, lovely owners also, couldn’t recommend this place more.

26/08/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars. The hamburger was very good, but everything else was a zero. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired; the plates and toilets were dirty. The friendliness was okay, though the waiter seemed a bit shy. And it's expensive for what it is.

10/08/2026: Honest pub, with happy hour from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM... Right next to the Pau promenade. We took advantage of it for a couple of pints.

25/07/2026: A popular bar with a great terrace, unfortunately it's also the bar where we received the worst possible service. One waitress was unfriendly, bordering on insulting.

20/08/2026: A top-notch bar for a great night out with friends, the atmosphere is good, the music is good, the staff is very friendly, and the managers are super nice – what more could you ask for!
