05/07/2026: The service was incredibly slow. That's not a big deal, though. They didn't have any change for my friends and offered no apology whatsoever. The prices were already very high for what they were, but now they just didn't give them their change. The chicken sandwich was incredibly stingy. The bread was very dry. And my cookie was like a brick. I used to love Subway for years. I'll never set foot in there again.

26/07/2026: I ordered a McDonald's burger when I got home, and it only had bread, nothing else. I don't understand how that's possible; those are the only two ingredients of a burger.

25/07/2026: 30 minutes to be served with an incomplete order, cold fries, melted ice cream, the wrong toy... There's shouting in the kitchen and complaints about the slightest request. It's in my top 3 worst McDonald's in France 🏆 And no need to be "sincerely sorry"... Improve yourselves.

27/06/2026: The waiter/owner was extremely unpleasant. A liar. I came in to ask if someone would be kind enough to give me a paper cup to give water to a thirsty cat in the park (I remind you that it's a heatwave and the cat wasn't well). It was a simple request, made with a little humanity. All this only for the owner/waiter to tell me he didn't have a paper cup to give me. I find this absurd, considering I could see the counter and clearly the stack of paper cups piled up right in front of me. I was quite shocked by the way he spoke to me; it was almost rude. You should know that when I came in, I politely waited for him to finish what he was doing before asking so he wouldn't be disturbed. All this just so he wouldn't respect me. When he came out, he told me there was a water fountain and that it was more than enough, and I explained to him that the cat couldn't press a button located about twice its height. Okay, I can understand that the person didn't want to help me; maybe there was a lack of compassion, I don't know. But the interaction didn't warrant being disrespected. And if it were your pet dying of thirst, or even a person, would you have reacted the same way? Would you have spoken with the same disrespect you showed me? Your customers are nicer than you because when you left, they checked their bags to see if they had a small container for that poor cat. I think a simple cardboard cup wouldn't have destroyed your stock… After your refusal, I went further by explaining the same situation to everyone. I was received kindly and they were able to give me a container for this poor cat.

25/06/2026: Slightly off the main tourist streets, typical old-style French bar, which is a complement. The friendliest service we had out of 6 bars/restaurants over 2 days. We just wanted something simple for lunch, an omelette/salade, not on menu, no problem, delicious. Chilled local white wine, perfect. Obviously a “locals” bar too, sat chatting with owner, chewing the fat, exchanging opinions, letting the day go by. If you’re looking for France, you’ll find it here.

08/07/2026: Last night around 8 pm, I was surprised by the woman at the drive-thru. I chatted with her because it wasn't the first time I'd seen her there. She gave excellent culinary advice and was very attentive to her customers. Thank you, ma'am.

08/07/2026: Very bad experience. I placed a Click & Collect order with curbside pickup. After waiting for over 30 minutes, I was told my order hadn't been validated. I then waited another 40 minutes before being told it had been ready for a long time, but that it needed to be picked up at the counter. Yet, I had clearly selected curbside pickup on the app and had even updated my vehicle information. However, on their internal receipt, pickup was indicated as "at the counter." The paper receipt doesn't specify the pickup method, which is very convenient when there's a mistake. As an apology, they gave me more fries, supposedly "hot," but they were just as cold as the first ones. The first person I spoke to apologized and explained that I needed to come to the counter to check if the order had been validated. However, the second person I spoke with was particularly unpleasant and clearly made me feel responsible for the situation. To top it all off, the order was incomplete: some sauces were missing. This isn't a major issue in itself, but after all that waiting and after reporting a problem with my order, it would have been reasonable to check that it was complete before handing it over. A very disappointing experience, both in terms of order handling and the service I received.

Well, no, it's not a good evening because she's not doing what she's paid for! And since it's a Drive-Thru, it doesn't matter... Book paid for, missing. Japanese sauces paid for, missing. Happy Meal toy, missing. Are you sabotaging yourself before Burger King arrives?

17/07/2026: Excellent place with a wide selection of dishes, desserts, and drinks (including vegetarian options!) at very affordable prices. The staff is very welcoming and the atmosphere is pleasant with a view of the beach :) I highly recommend it!!

17/07/2026: I went to Le Spot, located opposite Capbreton beach. The welcome was fantastic, very friendly. The food is delicious, and the raspberry and peach clafoutis was incredible. I highly recommend this place!

11/06/2025: It's a shame the waitress wasn't friendly. The restaurant is definitely showing its age. They didn't offer any white or red martinis as an aperitif. That's a pity, because the food itself is excellent.

19/05/2026: A very bad experience at Brasserie Carrefour Brioude. The server was very unpleasant, didn't even respond when spoken to, and gave the impression that customers were bothering them. Some people are clearly not suited for this job.

16/07/2026: Ordered 2 caramel sundaes. Half the container was filled, and let's not even talk about the caramel, which was practically nonexistent.

30/06/2026: If you want to have a drink without paying because the waiter kicked you out, this is the place to go! No need to go into detail about what's wrong; other reviews cover that. The cute nicknames used aren't signs of kindness, but rather a way to establish a malevolent authority.
