23/08/2026: SIMPLY AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!! We arrived at 7:15 PM, two of us. There was one person ahead of us with a small order. A man who didn't seem to know what he was doing (a beginner, I suppose) took our order, so the woman who runs the chip shop continued with the order (2 sandwiches). I ordered a hot sandwich: ground beef, cheddar cheese, fried onions, burger sauce—nothing simpler… But apparently, it was far too complicated for this establishment. For the second sandwich, I ordered an American-style Mexican sandwich with white sauce and a Hannibale burger—again, nothing complicated… The woman told me she was out of baguettes for sandwiches, even though she had just opened… so we took the other available breads: panini bread and faluche bread… Our order was served at 8:05 PM… and again, there was only one other person ahead of me with one or two sandwiches… The moment to eat arrived… and then… surprise! The steak sandwich contained only a steak, the sauce, and the bread… no cheese or fried onions. The price of the sandwich… 6 euros… As for the bread, it was far too burnt on top, and the ground beef was as hard as shoe leather. Regarding the American-style burger, only one of the two sauces was included… The portion size was disappointing… not for those with a big appetite… Unable to return due to work, I tried calling five times without getting an answer, hence this review to warn future customers about the quality and quantity of food offered by this establishment.

20/08/2026: Ordered at lunchtime today. Very disappointed, avoid this place. The fries were white and very soggy. They're nothing like the fries you find in the north. The burger had an aftertaste. This isn't the first time.

14/09/2026: Please change your opening hours on Sundays because it says 24 hours and I was kicked out at 10 p.m. Furthermore, it's terribly expensive and the service is rude. No thanks!

14/09/2026: I order regularly, and almost all my orders are problematic (3 out of 4). Tonight, I ordered 9 nuggets, received 4, but they were so dry they were inedible, including one that had completely fallen apart. So order here knowing what to expect ;)

08/09/2026: The country bread isn't good, it has no flavor, and I don't think it will keep. We asked if it could be sliced, and of course, it was just thrown into a paper bag. Ultimately, it's better to buy it at a supermarket; it's not good for the artisan! Perhaps the saleswoman needs some training.

11/07/2026: The welcome wasn't the warmest, but it was still acceptable. We ordered some specialty breads; they were good, but there was indeed a slight taste on the bottom of the loaf. I can't quite put my finger on it, but I'd say it was a mixture of yeast and old flour. A good cleaning or replacing the baking mats would certainly be necessary. It's a shame because otherwise, the breads are good.

11/07/2026: So… I might be lucky, judging by some of the reviews, but every time I go, I'm never disappointed! That said, I don't get sandwiches, bread, or croissants, so I can't comment on those, but their Basque cream cake is my absolute favorite! And I've tried quite a few… and the "Russian" cake is a delight, truly like the ones my Russian neighbors used to make when I lived with them a long time ago (but you have to like cream and hazelnuts 😉). All this at a very reasonable price.

17/09/2026: Not a good experience. Lack of involvement from the employees and unfriendly service. Time wasted at the drive-thru outside of peak hours. I'm very disappointed with this experience and unfortunately don't think I'll be returning. It's a shame for a chain that promises a warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. The food was average and served cold, unfortunately... They could do better...

15/09/2026: I often stop at the drive-thru, but that's it for me. The prices have become completely out of control: Best Of meals for over €10 is simply unacceptable. McDonald's is finished for me. And as if that weren't enough, the quality isn't even there anymore: my meal was cold, tasteless, clearly not worth the price. Eating in isn't any better: dirty tables, never cleaned, sticky floor… It feels like hygiene is no longer a priority. Frankly, paying more for such a mediocre experience is a no-go.

22/08/2026: Appalling customer service and dreadful saleswomen. Special mention to the manager, so proud of her demonstration: explaining to me that a payment made at 7:28 pm deprived me of the 50% discount… which is false, in addition to conveniently omitting any mention of the promotion. Did you really think I was going to turn a blind eye to your attitude and the lack of professionalism of your staff? Scammers.

18/09/2026: I came in and ordered a McDonald's meal deal and a Veggie Wrap. They served me chicken even though I eat halal. I'm not sure if they make a mistake, but I asked for a deluxe sauce. The server was going to give it to me, but the manager said no. I already said it was paid for, even though it's a deluxe sauce, I swear! She thinks she's running a multinational corporation. Relax, I swear, God willing, your restaurant will fail.

01/09/2026: Forgotten sandwich, poorly prepared and completely squashed. The staff are, sorry to say, completely inattentive. 36 minutes to get an order. In short, I do not recommend this McDonald's.

13/09/2026: This place is slowly but surely deteriorating. I waited 20 minutes for my order, and I also managed to scratch the front of my car on the drive-thru lane, which frankly needs to be redesigned.

23/07/2026: Hello I don't mean any harm to this chip shop, but it only serves halal meat. We are in France, and I think customers would prefer to have a choice. We shouldn't have to eat halal food when Muslims are a minority in France. Because of this choice to serve only halal meat, next time we will choose a chip shop that doesn't sell ONLY halal. This review is solely intended to inform customers that it is halal and also to inform the owners of the chip shop that customers would like to have a choice. Best of luck anyway.

26/08/2026: Order for one person: one of the two apple pies ordered was missing, and the sundae was completely unavailable. This isn't the first time; I don't think I'll be going back to McDonald's Chaponnay.

05/09/2026: The service was extremely unpleasant. I was with my family for breakfast, and then they went for a walk while I was working on my computer. A waitress came over and spoke to me very rudely, telling me I was "taking up space." I understand that there may be rules, but there's a way to speak to customers. I was very disappointed by the staff's attitude.

13/05/2026: Shameful, avoid at all costs!! I paid for three burgers advertised at €7 on their screen, including salad, tomato, and onion. When I went to pay, they told me it was €24 instead of €21. The prices displayed are not the actual prices, BEWARE of this! Furthermore, when I opened the burgers, I found one slice of cheese instead of two, a single lettuce leaf, and no tomato or onion. Moreover, during payment, even when I pointed out that the price shown on the screen was different from the price I was supposed to pay, the cashier, who was very unfriendly by the way, said absolutely nothing. I imagine it was the cook who said, "Oh, yes, that's because they've changed the prices." Well, at least tell people that they've changed instead of ripping them off like this. It's unacceptable. I also think the health inspectors should pay a visit. I absolutely do not recommend this place!!! Avoid at all costs!
