06/03/2026: It's good, it's nice, the prices are fair, and the food is delicious. The decor is Alsatian, it's a style, but it lingers in your mind, and for that reason alone, we'll be back. The tarte flambée is expertly made. A very charming spot in a very touristy area where some places wouldn't hesitate to serve you bland and overpriced food. L'Arbalète isn't a tourist trap, but a truly lovely restaurant! And we absolutely love it!

20/09/2025: A last-minute dinner reservation and a wonderful evening. It all begins with a sincere and honest welcome, unlike the tourist touts on the seaside. A rich, varied menu that piques the taste buds' curiosity. A fresh Muscat, a sangria with fruits that have been marinating for a while (not a sangria blessed with water and its minute fruits), a foie gras that melts like butter, perfectly seasoned and generously served (thank you). A beautiful slow-cooked lamb shank, meltingly tender, that falls off the skin on its own (superb). A pork cheek x4 with licorice sauce (a wonderful discovery, yum, thank you). Delicious little vegetables. A juicy pineapple caramelized just then and its lemon ball included in the dessert, a delight. And in addition to the very good fresh bread, the plas follow one after the other. In short, a great address that embodies the values ​​of the Ovalie: generosity, sharing, imagination, and rigor in its execution. Beachfront restaurants are severely relegated to the sidelines. Le XV is a magnificent attempt that transforms itself between the bars of generosity both for the welcome and the quality of the products.

17/01/2026: A fantastic, indulgent breakfast with delicious homemade pastries, open from 9:30 am on Mondays in Vannes, which is really great. The cookie was amazing, and the scones my friend had were excellent. I would have preferred to sit wherever I wanted in their large dining room, quietly chatting with my friend in privacy, but we were seated right next to another table already occupied by four people. I would have preferred a more intimate setting, as the place lends itself to that, and since the rest of the room was empty, we could hear everyone's conversations. The prices are reasonable, and the owner was very friendly, so overall, I highly recommend it. I'll insist on being seated where I want next time, away from the other diners if possible (and it was).

04/01/2026: On Sunday, January 4th, we had a delicious lunch consisting of guinea fowl stuffed with chestnuts, dauphinoise potatoes, and Vichy carrots—everything was exceptional! I highly recommend going there!

23/03/2026: Charming restaurant with a decor that blends contemporary and antique styles. The portions are very generous, perhaps a bit too much for the set menu, but good value for money. The food is tasty. It's a shame the fries aren't homemade on the children's menu; that would allow for a smaller, higher-quality portion. The manager seemed a little preoccupied as it was the reopening, but she was welcoming and pleasant.

14/03/2026: A very good burger restaurant with a wide selection of items on the menu and reasonable prices. The fries were homemade, and we really enjoyed our meal. In addition, the service was quick and the staff was very welcoming. A great burger restaurant in Saint-Malo; it's a nice change from the other sweet and savory burger places. It's good to have something different and a variety of options.

16/03/2026: I wasn't expecting such good food; the portions were incredibly generous, we were completely full! The food was plentiful, absolutely delicious, the tartar sauce was amazing, and everything was so fresh. There was a great selection (I appreciate that there aren't any set menus!), classic bistro fare! And what a selection it was!! I rarely give 5 stars, but this place definitely deserves them. My only slight reservation was about the Caesar salad, where not everything was identifiable, but the impeccable service and the delicious main course made me forget about that starter! Keep up the good work!!

09/03/2026: If the chef and his team were playing a concerto, their score would have been flawless. From the amuse-bouches to the petit fours, everything was simply perfect. The flavor combinations, seasonings, and cooking techniques were on par with (or even surpassing) the Michelin-starred restaurants we've already experienced. The service was impeccable, perfectly orchestrated by the restaurant manager, who once again delivered a top-notch experience, with tableside cocktail preparation and flambéing. A wonderful culinary experience, and without a doubt the best value for money for a restaurant of this caliber. Thank you to Chef Loessel and his entire team for this enchanting interlude. It's incomprehensible that this establishment hasn't yet been recognized by the Michelin Guide.

21/02/2026: My first fine dining experience, and what a truly memorable culinary adventure! Everything was exquisite, from the flavors to the presentation of the dishes. The service was attentive and warm. I loved it from beginning to end; I highly recommend it.
