11/04/2026: Order placed at 11:30 PM, and at midnight still hadn't been served… We went to ask, and to our surprise, our tray was simply waiting on a work surface. Yet, we hadn't moved seats. The server clearly hadn't bothered to find us in the dining room and had simply abandoned the order… To top it all off, they tried to "compensate" by offering us as many sauces as we wanted… In short, avoid this place after a concert.

08/04/2026: Nice place but lacking in hygiene because when you see ants eating a fry under your table, it means the fry has been there for a while. You don't know whether to laugh or cry because you wonder what the hygiene is like in the kitchens. 🤔🤔

13/02/2026: Tonight we ordered takeout. There are seven of us eating at the table, and the order came to almost €100, so the price is already quite high. On top of that, our order was botched; a complete meal was missing, and we ordered seven Maxi Best Of meals but only received small fries and small drinks. I think this is disrespectful to customers, and we're not the first to complain about things like this. We even called McDonald's to find out what the problem was, and they called us liars. It's already getting more and more expensive, so if we don't get our complete order, we're going to have a problem. Tonight we wanted to treat ourselves to start the school holidays, but we all left disappointed.

11/04/2026: No hello, no goodbye, I ask what the menus are and I'm told everything is written on the board, and at the end the tomatoes in the sandwich are green.

04/04/2026: We often come to the Columbus on Rue de Vesle. The muffins and drinks are very good, but the major drawback is the lack of welcome and friendliness from the staff. Two employees give us the cold shoulder when we walk into the restaurant; we really feel like we're bothering them. Last time, after a misunderstanding about an order (worth about €6...), one of them was almost aggressive in her words. When a job isn't right for you, maybe you should change jobs! We won't be going back.

25/03/2026: Lack of transparency: they advertised mostly organic products in an email, but the honest cooks told me on site that none of the vegetables were organic. Very poor value for money.

14/03/2026: 17 euros for a small, stingy avocado toast. Very expensive for avocado on bread. Unfortunately, it's dry and a bit cloying. It's a shame, the old menu was more generous. On the plus side: the staff are very friendly, though.

09/04/2026: Food. Good. Only a very bad experience with the staff. One employee treated his colleagues badly because he felt superior. And the cashier was also rude; he told me I wasn't allowed to bring my own water bottle into the restaurant and that it was forbidden because of the suppliers, even though there were only two other customers with me in the restaurant.

03/04/2026: I am a regular customer of your establishment and, until now, I have always had excellent experiences. It is precisely for this reason that I am writing to you today, deeply disappointed by a recent experience. During my last visit, I simply asked for a little more onion in my sandwich—a modest request, which I even offered to pay extra for so I could enjoy my meal exactly as I liked it. To my great surprise, the employee on duty categorically refused, citing “rules” and “procedures,” as if a small extra portion of onions could disrupt the smooth running of your establishment. Seeking a reasonable solution, I reiterated my request, offering to pay the equivalent of an extra portion of meat. Despite this, the refusal remained unchanged, with no flexibility or willingness to satisfy a loyal customer. Beyond the refusal itself, it was the attitude that I found particularly unpleasant and unprofessional. This rigidity, coupled with a clear lack of courtesy, is completely at odds with the positive experiences I had previously enjoyed at your restaurant. I find it regrettable that a simple gesture—adding a few more onions at the request of a customer ready to pay—was treated with such coldness and intransigence. I sincerely hope that this situation can be taken into account in order to improve the welcome and quality of service, which, until now, have been the hallmark of your establishment in my eyes.

18/03/2026: I didn't receive what I ordered, and the cardboard forks are impractical. The drinks spill easily, which is inconvenient and makes a mess.

27/03/2026: A truly gargantuan meal! The staff was very attentive, especially when I needed more ketchup for my fries—a real treat! Furthermore, the restroom experience was fantastic, the service was very fast, and the food was delicious!
