Un lieu chaleureux où les serveuses et les serveurs vous accueillent avec le sourire et bienveillance! Un patron qui se soucis de sa clientèle, le meilleur de la Palmyre!! 22/07/2024: L'endroit est super avec la vue sur le lac et très agréable de faire une balade en vélo et se retrouver au déjeuner sur la terrasse. Habitué à ce restaurant depuis de nombreuses années. Premier essai depuis la reprise du restaurant par une nouvelle équipe. Accueil très chaleureux, aimable, service rapide. Très bon émincé de veaux aux petits légumes. J'aurai apprécié un peu plus de légumes.

16/12/2023: The dishes are correct and homemade, but it is not exceptional either and even rather standard. Someone will have to explain to me the small sweet crepe at 5 Euros without presentation for a manufacturing cost of 18 cents, the rather mid-range pizzas, the small chocolate fondant at 8E50. Without forgetting that the rations are identical for children (much too big for them) and identical prices. And the waitresses unable to communicate with each other with the unpleasant effect of having to say things twice to get what we asked for. Finally the timing: 1 hour for the main course, 1 hour for dessert. As much as the first hour doesn't bother me, the second is exaggerated, we hesitated to leave it there. However, on this August evening there were not many people. It is clear that I will not return. Go on your way... tourist trap (and what's more, I'm not one).

15/07/2026: The only positive point about this hotel is its location: 100 meters from the springs. Otherwise, it's best avoided: - Dirty room: even the cleaning is half-done. We found dust and hair. The shower shelf is never cleaned, judging by the thick layer of grime on it. - Booking.com advertises "individual air conditioning," but upon arrival, we found a very dirty fan and no air conditioning. Furthermore, the welcome was rather cold. At checkout, we barely received a response to our goodbyes. The walls are paper-thin, offering zero privacy. The carpets were stained, reflecting the overall state of the room. Out of curiosity, I went to see what the breakfast was like: €10 for that is practically a rip-off. In short, avoid this establishment; the price is outrageous. The Ibis Budget in Bellerive-sur-Allier is much better.

19/06/2026: This hotel was more than adequate considering the price. Friendly welcome, clean rooms, and located right in the city center. Highly recommended.

17/12/2024: Siamo stati in questo locale per pranzo: locale piccolo con menù esposto che prometteva bene. Già dal nostro arrivo si respira un’aria poco simpatica: la signora, appena apriamo la porta per chiedere informazioni, ci spinge fuori richiudendo velocemente la porta e dicendo di aspettare dieci minuti (che poi non si sono rivelati dieci minuti). Una volta entrati ci fanno appostare in un tavolo vicino alla porta dove capiamo il perché della sgarbatezza della signora: ad ogni apertura di porta entrava un’aria gelida che arrivava dritta ai reni. Ordiniamo quattro crêpes salate: poco dopo l’ordinazione mio marito chiede di aggiungere un ingrediente se possibile e ci dice che è un problema borbottando ma alla fine portano le crepe come ordinate. Crepe accettabili, niente di particolare ma niente di eccessivamente delizioso. Nel bere però mia figlia si accorge che il bicchiere è sporco, guardiamo anche gli altri e vediamo che Han tutti pezzi neri all’interno che con l’inserimento dell’acqua galleggiavano. Chiediamo di cambiare il bicchiere perché sporco e la signora ci chiede “perché è sporco?” Io rispondo “non lo so” e ci porta dei bicchieri in plastica a loro volta sporchi (presumo non abbia capito la richiesta ma allo stesso tempo capisco che l’igiene non è il massimo ed infatti ci fermiamo dal bere). Quando è ora di pagare ed uscire mio marito va a pagare e nel mentre rivesto le bimbe, riapro il passeggino e la signora dopo aver offerto un chupa chups alla bimba ci spinge (letteralmente) fuori dal locale mettendo fretta pure alla bimba. Abbiamo speso poco ma abbiamo anche avuto poco!

10/12/2024: What a unique experience. I you want to understand the cuisine of Normandy without going to Normandy - this is your place. I ordered a Norman Calvados/cider based aperitif called Pommeau. I've been in the wine business for 35 years. It takes a lot to surprise me. It was wonderful. Don't miss the experience. We ordered buckwheat galettes - mine with ham, cheese and egg. It looks like breakfast but they are very filling and classic country cuisine. The salads were also good. The staff is friendly, helpful and informative. There is outdoor seating for warmer weather. It is a small place so reserve or go early.

24/08/2023: Magnifique hôtel - restaurant situé dans un manoir avec toute son histoire. Il a été repris par 2 frères très accueillants et d'une gentillesse incroyable qui fait qu'on s'y sent comme à la maison. Ils servent des produits locaux. C'est un lieu calme et apaisant. De plus, les chiens sont admis. Encore merci pour ce moment de détente fort agréable 😊

16/08/2024: Nous avons passé un très bon moment. Les plats sont très raffinés, le service est au top. Les attentions sont appréciées, bougie et décoration pour mon anniversaire 😍 et la ganache maison avec le café au top. Je recommande vivement m.

26/05/2024: Nous avons déjeuné un midi la veille de la fête des mères. Salle bien décorée. Enfin, un restaurant avec nappe et serviettes en tissu. Très bon accueil. Nous avons choisi le menu Plaisir à 37€. Parfait. Orientés plutôt vers les poissons, plats très bien cuisinés. En dessert, soufflé au Grand Marnier divin. Ce fut un agréable moment. Je recommande. Dicton du jour : "Si tu veux connaître le niveau d'hygiène d'un restaurant, va aux toilettes"

08/09/2025: Restaurant experience: One Monday at lunchtime, the set menu was advertised at €25 (starter/main course/dessert/coffee). We were told to choose from the €34 menu for our selections, but that at lunchtime it was indeed €25. Being in a hurry, we skipped the coffee, and then the bill came to €34 for the set menu! We asked for an explanation, and the owner, unfriendly and even quite curt, told us that since we hadn't ordered coffee, it was €34! No, this isn't a joke! Outrageous!
