19/09/2024: This was always my favourite restaurant, I have been going there for 20 years. I went there a few weeks ago and was so disappointed, the management have changed hand and the meal was not good, in fact I should have complained but being English didn't like to. I hope this was just teething problems and it will improve, The bread was already on the table when we sat down I asked the waitress for butter and she asked why. Will not be returning. The wine was nice. I do not like giving bad reviews but this just has to be said.

09/05/2026: Good hotel for a comfortable short business trip

20/04/2026: The hotel is right next to the tram, the cinema/theatre, the market, restaurants, and shops (Super U supermarket, pharmacy, newsagent/tobacconist). The room is clean and the bedding is comfortable.

22/09/2024: Le seul restaurant ouvert un dimanche midi journée du patrimoine avec le chateau a 2 pas. Rien que pour cela il faut être reconnaissant. Ce n est pas forcément le restau que nous aurions choisi parce que trop traditionnel mais en fait nous avons très bien mangé : salade chevre, sandre et très bon dessert. Les parts étaient juste comme il faut. Les serveuses très agréables . Par contre il est vrai que le patron est un problème il nuit a l équipe. Il était très alcoolisé il n a pas été incorrect et ne s est pas trompé sur l addition mais cela met mal a l aise. Il devrait se faire soigner mais c est lui qui est au bar...

10/09/2024: Jolie cour bien aménagée et décorée. Service accueillant et efficace. Bonne cuisine fraîche maison, recettes du terroir (poissons d'eau douce), au centre vieille ville, parking sur place au fond. Carte de vins à garnir plus avec des vins locaux (Saumur, Anjou). Ne manquez pas l'endroit.

06/09/2024: Terrible slow service. Ended up ordering 4 pizzas that came out in dribs and drabs so didn't all eat together. 1 flavour was great the other 2 rubbish. Wine was the nicest thing about it. Bored waitress who could not be parted from her phone and power bank and really did not want to be there took our money but I could have told her we owed £10 and she would have accepted it

19/08/2024: A fuir !! Pizzas bonnes mais attente très très très longue!!! L’organisation est à désirer , les serveurs sympathiques mais perdus dans leur service.

10/10/2024: An unpretentious restaurant, the food is very good and the service is excellent for a very reasonable price.

12/05/2026: The check-in was fine, however, the morning reception was deplorable. The breakfast buffet was insufficient for the price. The room was nice, the bathroom was lovely, and the parking lot closed too early. When you're unfamiliar with the place, it's understandable to go to the wrong door, but I apologized repeatedly. And that's not even mentioning the lack of bread at breakfast.

16/05/2024: To avoid.....restaurant with more than questionable hygiene. The menu with pork in the majority of dishes: not great. What a shame that an establishment so well located in a very pretty natural setting should be like this. Dilapidated, unsanitary, it almost spoils the landscape. Naturally not complicated to eat in a restaurant, this is the first time that I have had to leave without consuming despite the hunger that was nagging me.

13/12/2023: A warm welcome in a simple decor in which you feel very comfortable. A menu without much pretension but very gourmet and which suggests a good moment of indulgence with a large place for local products. All the proposals keep their promise. The low attendance on the day of our visit allowed us to discover, in the discussion with our host, the great passion of this couple at the head of this little corner to discover! Thank you for this good time.
