03/11/2024: The hotel to escape!!!. I booked a room for two nights at the Ambacia Tours Sud hotel in Saint-Avertin 37550. We chose the proximity of this hotel to the party hall because we were there for a wedding. What a disappointment when we arrived. I stay in a 3-star hotel and therefore pay the price of a 3-star for a certain comfort. My husband and I were surprised when we arrived at a parking lot without maintenance (dilapidated exterior) with just a small, very weak light inside. We had doubts, perhaps believing that the hotel was closed. The irony was when we discovered the room, the stained carpet and dirty wallpaper, dilapidated bathroom with an obvious lack of ventilation, it was total, a bathroom with black joints, the cracked sink , stained walls... The only positive point is the comfortable and clean bedding. Very noisy hotel, not well insulated. We hear the conversations of the people in the next room as if we were in the same room. Lunches mediocre for the price, the first day we arrived at 8 a.m. for breakfast there were almost no pastries left. In the basket a few disheveled chocolate bars, we ask if we can have croissants, the lady will tell us that she does not manage the catering, she is just a chambermaid. But still come back a few minutes later to tell us that there is a croissant left. What intrigued us was that this maid was at reception all weekend. And she's the same one who gave us our bill. I didn't hesitate to ask her if she wore several hats? Apparently she was replacing a colleague who was on sick leave that day. Anyway. This Sunday we were able to have the croissants but not cooked so bread with butter and that's all for the price honestly! The hotel needs a good renovation! Also for a little anecdote. If you have to pay by holiday check, check and do the counting together with the person at the checkout so as not to have any surprises 😧.

07/06/2024: Nous étions relativement pressés et avions besoin de grignoter des snacks en moins de 45min. La cuisine n'ouvrant que dans 30min , nous avons demandé à la serveuse, dans tout le respect que nous portons à l'établissement, s'il était possible d'aller chercher de la nourriture à emporter et de les consommer sur place avec les boissons que nous avions commandé. La serveuse a accepté. Lorsque nous étions en train de manger, le gérant du restaurant est venu nous voir et a tenu un tout autre discours, nous donnant une leçon de morale qui n'avait pas lieu d'être, puisque nous avions eu l'autorisation de la part d'un membre de l'équipe. Pour couronner le tout, l'un de nos amis, qui a commandé quelques minutes après nous, n'a jamais été servi en boisson .. Acte volontaire punitif de la part de l'établissement ? La question se pose. Il s'agirait d'être crédible à l'avenir et de simplement refuser la consommation de nourriture ne provenant pas de la cuisine du Bureau au lieu de venir blâmer des clients respectueux qui avaient demandé l'autorisation d'un membre de l'établissement au préalable. Cette brasserie ne nous avait jamais posé problème auparavant, mais là, nous avons été très déçus par ce discours contradictoire et l'attitude peu professionnelle du gérant.

10/09/2024: Leider gibt es wenige richtige Fischrestaurants dort - erstaunlich. Die Fischsuppe war super aber die Beschreibung an der Tafel und der Preis deutete darauf hin, dass noch etwas folgt. Letztendlich waren wir nicht satt und bestellten dann noch Moules. Diese waren enttäuschend klein. Zu zweit für 163€ waren wir ungenügend bedient. Personal war sehr nett.

08/09/2024: Très bel endroit nourriture délicieuse cabillaud légumes aïoli sublime petits calamars au sate divin , personnel très agréable on recommande absolument
