11/10/2023: Order received. By now I should have looked at the reviews before ordering. Indeed, the mafé is inedible! Two pieces of carrot inside and the chicken has a suspicious taste... The rice is not actually broken! The pastels are equally inedible, there isn't even the red sauce with everything hard and dry. ! Honestly, I'm bummed about the price.

01/09/2024: Super characteristic restaurant in the French hinterland, guys a real show, you eat a lot and well, the advantage is given by the appetizer buffet which has many delicacies and among these there are the cheeses (for me the goat's cheese is superlative). Then there is a single course, dessert, coffee, wine and cider already on the table, all for €15.00, but a sign spoke clearly and from 1 September 2024, it will go to €16.90/person/fixed menu . The place is also sensational as it appears retro and despite this, clean. If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back.

13/08/2024: C'est toujours excellent et pour un prix très abordable. On aime beaucoup le steak tartare, que la chef prépare à la demande, pour nous bien relevé. Couple sympathique.

11/09/2024: Great location, the room was spacious and the setting is beautiful. Just a stone's throw from the old town center and not much further from the shops. The parking, the breakfast, the calm. We will return without hesitation.

13/08/2024: décevant, petit déjeuner pour ephad (un croissant, une tartine, des biscottes et de la compote.....), chambre bruyante, plancher qui grince, toile d'araignée au plafond, pas de poubelle, seule la salle de bain était propre mais pas de grille sur la gaine de ventilation, badge d'entrée qui ne fonctionne pas donc obligé d'attendre 10 min que qqn vienne vous ouvrir, ampoule avec les fils qui dépassent du plafond, bref pas à la hauteur, il n'y a pas de 2e fois pour nous ah oui ne vous fiez pas aux photos sur booking les jardins ne sont pas entretenus ....

09/04/2024: The best Bar/Restaurant in the Contamines MontJoie - Hauteluce ski area. This is the last authentic and non-tourist trap restaurant in the resort, you will find excellent cuisine, with good dishes typical of the region, with excellent value for money. The atmosphere is great and perfect, if you are a person who wants to enjoy, eat well and drink well then you are in the right place! Start your lunch by going to the bar for an aperitif with the boss, if you are at least educated, and with respect, you will be well received, then continue the meal by warming yourself by the fire in a back restaurant room , and to finish with the digestive coffee! At the end of the season, you can also enjoy a large sunny terrace, and it feels really good! Only positives at the Taverne de Belleville, The owners, the waiters, and the cook are very efficient, everything is perfect We eat well there, we drink well there, we are happy Can’t wait for the winter season to start again!

24/02/2024: Je recommande fortement l'établissement, les patrons sont très souriants, je félicite le chef cuistot pour les plats incroyables qu’il nous prépare. Etablissement rustique a visiter quand on est de passage sur Hauteluce.
