23/08/2023: I went to lunch at Doris with two friends today. The service was impeccable, and the staff were very friendly. However, the food is very low. The croque monsieur/salmon was too salty, too dry on top and moist underneath. I ordered mussels in cream sauce, which tasted strange. One of my friends, who is a pastry chef, told me the cream had soured. Please stick to serving bar food and stop catering. Thank you for our intestines.

25/05/2024: We had lunch here last Wednesday. We hadn't booked but were accommodated without problem in the bar area as the restaurant was full. The restaurant is clearly frequented by manual workers but there were retired folk there too. The Menu du Jour offered a choice of 2 starters, 2 main courses, a cheese course and 2 desserts. We had the salmon quiche, steak and chips, cheese and a muffin with cold custard. Everything was very good and the portions generous. A half litre of red wine was included but, when we ordered a further quarter litre, another half was brought and we were told that this too was included! The service was efficient and pleasant, there was a nice, lively atmosphere and we were made very welcome. On paying, we were astonished to learn that the total bill was only €30. Exceptional value, given the quality and portion size. No wonder the place was full! Highly recommended.

01/05/2024: Plat arrivé froid pas de place pour laisser les deux plats sur les bougies saladier pour deux personnes au lieu de quatre atteinte très longue pour demander une carafe d’eau et un autre saladier de salade. Du coup pas pris de dessert ni de café on est partis. Pas assez de personnel pour assurer l’influence de veille de 1er mai

27/09/2025: We came with a child one afternoon while waiting for our train, never again!! Customers completely drunk with vulgar vocabulary, shouting sadistic jokes, extra swear words, and the boss seemed to find this environment very normal...

10/08/2024: exécrable, attente interminable ( 25 min = 1h30 ), la pizza n’est même pas servie dès que sortie du four ( mouche, froid et j’en passe… ), fait virer dès que commande passée pour servir d’autres clients et même pas d’essuie tout je ne referai plus.

09/08/2024: De passage dans la région je vous conseille fortement ce restaurant et de plus un service très sympathique ! Un endroit est décor magnifique

01/07/2024: Repas en famille , 6 personnes , J ai pris des seiche à la persillade très dur et caoutchouteuse , moule au roquefort sauce au roquefort pas trop de goût , entrecôte très grasses et dure

20/11/2025: I got a salad to go, and frankly, it wasn't great. The cherry tomatoes were completely limp. The price was okay, but I felt like I was bothering them. Anyway, it's a shame, I won't be going back.

25/08/2024: Pas top même pour 1 restauration rapide, le tartare était bon mais le potjevleesch pas terrible, la gelée pas prise et toute molle n'avait aucun goût ainsi que les soit disant 3 viandes qui composaient ce plat bien difficile à reconnaître, quant aux frittes, elles n'étaient pas cuites ! La serveuse bien trop courte vêtue, avec le vent qui soufflait fort on craignait le pire...

20/08/2024: En visite de la ville haute de Boulogne s/ Mer on a découvert ce restaurant. La patronne nous a trouvé une table alors qu'on avait pas réservé. La cuisine est faite avec des produits locaux , on sent qu'elle est faite avec amour, les parts sont consistantes : ce fut un pur régal. Je recommande vivement cette table.
