20/10/2026: Run away!! The building was purchased at a reduced price due to a type of dry rot. Your books, your belongings, and your health will suffer. If you pay a deposit, he'll deduct exorbitant cleaning fees (cleaners paid €70 an hour?). He agrees to rent you a room long-term, just before the law prohibiting evictions (October 9th) came into effect. You receive a formal notice to vacate. Poorly insulated, you can hear everything everyone else is doing! And strangely, everyone has a different rate, yet he only offers Airbnb or rentals. €600 for a tiny hole! Even maid's rooms in Paris are more pleasant to live in. Don't be fooled and stay in the hotel right next door!

22/09/2026: Small restaurant, excellent food! We stopped for lunch with colleagues; it's best to make a reservation. Cold buffet for starters: pasta salad with surimi, snout salad, various pâtés and garlic sausages, fish pâté, coleslaw with Montbéliard sausages, tabbouleh, etc., but the selection changes daily. For the main course, there was calf's head (every Thursday), and otherwise, steak and fries. The set menu was €23, including starter, main course, dessert, cheese, and coffee. Several dessert options (additional desserts are €2.50 each). Floating islands, fruit tarts, fruit salad, slice of chocolate cake, etc. Excellent food at a great price, a rare find these days. A very good place!

17/07/2026: Top marks for a special moment we absolutely loved, from the delicious food cooked over a wood fire to the warm atmosphere and complete change of scenery. Thank you for this wonderful evening.

27/05/2026: Arriving by chance, hungry, at 1:30 pm, we were treated to the special cyclist menu and enjoyed JM's banter. A very good time. We'll be back! 😁

09/10/2023: After watching Julie Andrieu's superb TV program about this inn, we were looking forward to trying the food and had even rented a cottage nearby... Alas, when we called the inn, a very kind gentleman informed me that since the Covid crisis, they only accept groups with reservations... We were very disappointed. It's a shame this information isn't on their website...
