18/07/2024: Die Terrasse des Restaurants liegt auf der heimeligen Pl. de la Poissonnerie; wo an fast allen anderen gastronomischen Orten der Stadt die Hitze unerträglich war, erfrischte hier ein laues Lüftchen. Die Küche ist exzellent. Sie bezieht ihre Zutaten aus dem zugehörigen Fischladen am selben Platz. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Austern, weitere Meeesfrüchte und der Fisch des Tages (Schwertfisch) mundeten kolossal. Dazu gab es sehr gut passenden Weißwein aus dem Languedoc/ Roussillon. Auch der Café Gourmand zum Abschluss war vorzüglich. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Crêpe suzette hors pair, complète excellent, tout est dans la cuisson d'un seul côté pour avoir le moelleux et le croustillant à la fois
19/02/2024: Excellent repas « Chez Bertine », à l’improviste. Très satisfaits des produits qui nous ont été servis. Nous avons été très bien reçu avec notre bébé en poussette.

25/06/2024: I think I laughed more at this meal then any other meal in my life. I was laughing at the food. So, in some sense, the price was worth it for the laughter. This is not an eating experience, but a tasting experience. You get to honour the chef by sampling his delicious creations (and the flavours and textures are very interesting). Imagine a gourmet grocery store offering samples. That is the size of the portions that you will be served. For example, the meat dish consisted of a single thin slice of duck breast. They make sure to stuff you with bread so that you don't leave the restaurant feeling hungry. Overall, it was fun. But still, for the price, they could have given us, dare I suggest, two slices of duck breast. Ditto the fish and carrot puree (see photo, the piece of fish was about 2 inches long), and every other dish. Dessert was sufficient, but I'd rather fill myself on protein than sugar. In terms of taste and creativity, I rank the food highly. However, I didn't just come to taste, but to eat. So for that reason, I am giving it 3 stars for food.
11/03/2024: We are here in March and had the most amazing meal, with a notable very good service from the staff and in particular Barbara. Not only was she knowledgeable of the menu and the techniques, but also personable and down to earth too. She took her time to explain the dishes and also ensured that we were very well taken care of. A truly 5-star service!
