27/06/2026: I'm giving it 4 stars because I don't want to harm the chef... We had three €129 set menus on June 18th for lunch. We enjoyed the meal, but we were served by, among others, a lady and a gentleman of a certain age whom we found rather gloomy, with a mechanical demeanor, no warm interaction with the customer, and not a single smile. The aperitif glass of champagne was served without anything to nibble on with it; I had to ask for something after half an hour, which then took another 20 minutes to arrive. As an apology, they topped up the glass of champagne we had started drinking while it was still chilled. In short... how to conclude?... a very cold and soulless atmosphere.

15/06/2026: The servers were very friendly, except for the one at the till. Perhaps the owner? The prices were high for dishes that were frozen and of poor quality. I didn't touch my plate because I didn't trust the freshness of the food. I informed the server/owner at the counter, who handed me the bill without a word. The result: a stomachful of rillettes and 40 euros less in my account.

07/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to dine at La Mare aux Canards: the service is always lovely and attentive, the starter chips are perfect, and the food is delicious. And during a heatwave, being in the forest is pure bliss!

06/07/2026: Delicious food, very generous portions, incredible setting. Top spot for a business lunch or dinner. However, the service is slow...

16/07/2026: Great place, friendly service, excellent menu, refined and delicious dishes, and the owner is super friendly too. We went on Monday with a friend on his Harley and were very well received. Oh yes, the terrace, the view, and the location are heavenly.

23/03/2026: The food wasn't exactly top-notch. The omelet and pasta were dry and served cold. The salad was downright wilted! We even found a rotten piece. The blueberry clafoutis, despite its appealing look, was tasteless, dry, and the blueberries were frozen. The place is nice, and the service is decent, so it does the job you'd expect from a lunchtime spot between ski runs.

01/07/2026: The members of the ARMENA club from Avesnes-sur-Helpe had a very pleasant time at the Tellier orchards restaurant on Thursday, June 25th, for their closing day. The meal was excellent value for money, and we thoroughly enjoyed the delicious local produce from appetizer to dessert. A big thank you to the chef and the service staff, who were quick and attentive despite the heat. The meal was followed by a very informative and interesting slideshow presented by Mr. Tellier about his orchards. The term "eco-responsible" takes on its full meaning and value after listening to him. A truly wonderful team that I encourage you to discover. Alain DELCROIX

17/05/2026: We dined at Tellier as a group (8 people). The food was generally good, but several things significantly marred the experience. First, a strong smell of bleach bothered us during the meal, due to the tables being cleaned with a spray while customers were eating. This was frankly unpleasant and inappropriate. Second, the menu was unclear: there was no new printed menu, making it difficult to understand what was actually on offer. The service was also complicated: the dishes arrived without the wines being served, which detracted from the overall experience. Speaking of the wine, it was served far too cold (around 4°C). When we pointed this out, the response was rather unpleasant, with a dismissive "that's how it's served here," whereas a Bourgueil is normally served at around 14°C. Finally, there was a significant error on the bill, with approximately €65 too much for our group, which is hardly acceptable. It's a shame, because the quality of the food is there, but all these points together leave a negative impression.

08/06/2026: Amazing little place for oysters. Had a great experience with this place. Viewed how they are grown and especially appreciated the behind the scenes tour with the gentleman that spoke 3 languages! He made my day.

12/06/2026: We had a wonderful time as a family sharing all the flammekueches on the menu, and we have to say, they were absolutely delicious! (Not to mention the generous desserts!) We also appreciated the private parking, the warm welcome, the smooth service, and especially the friendliness, good humor, and smiles of the staff! In short, this is a place that's definitely worth a visit!

13/06/2026: The savory dishes were decent, with a special mention for the generous, beautifully breaded veal escalope served with real homemade mashed potatoes. On the sweet side: This is where the meal becomes truly memorable. Don't leave without trying the triple chocolate cookie. Served warm (almost too warm for those with a sweet tooth), it's incredibly decadent and topped with absolutely incredible homemade whipped cream. Pure bliss. The atmosphere: The decor is pure, trendy, boho-chic. It's stylish, very "Instagrammable"—you either love it or hate it, but it's part of the place's charm.

12/06/2026: We got really good breakfast. Charming place with beautiful decor and friendly staff but also good quality of goods. It was pleasant in the morning and not full of noise and people.

09/09/2025: We arrived quite late one evening, thinking it was unlikely, if not impossible, to get a table. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a very warm welcome, despite the late hour, and impeccable service! All this on the terrace. We were very happy with everything. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely return! (And a little earlier next time :) )

24/04/2026: The place is very pleasant for a meal with friends, unfortunately the service was deplorable; the waiter was overwhelmed and unfriendly. We waited an hour and a half before our first course arrived, and it was barely lukewarm.
