27/12/2025: We only tried the hotel restaurant and it was a very good experience with excellent value for money. The menu is simple, with a choice of two starters, two main courses, and two desserts. The food is unpretentious, served quickly and with a smile.

03/06/2026: We have stayed at this hotel several times a year for many years. We noticed a decline in the cleanliness of the room and several shortcomings, which we politely mentioned to the receptionist (not to complain, but to point them out). She even offered us breakfast and a free tourist tax as compensation. She also explained that two of the three cleaning staff were on leave and that they were training new staff, which might explain these minor inconveniences. We hope our comments will help them regain their 5-star rating for the room and services, which we have no doubt they will! 😁

27/05/2026: My opinion of this hotel is very mixed. I'll start with the biggest negative: it's a real shame that the air conditioning wasn't turned on in advance, especially since a heatwave had been forecast for several days. I slept with the window open, with a neighbor smoking right outside our window, because the hotel rooms are non-smoking... Not cool at all. I complained to management, who gave us a discount. My rating therefore takes into account this air conditioning issue and the discount, but it doesn't change the fact that I had a difficult night. Another negative point: the sheet was tucked in too tightly at the foot of the bed, leaving nothing at the head. I had to redo it, otherwise I would have ended up with the pillow on the mattress. Aside from that, the hotel is well located. The rooms are clean. The restaurant is simple, but perfectly adequate. The breakfast is quite good. The staff are friendly. The management, however, is less so, especially when they have to explain to guests that the air conditioning takes 48 hours to fully activate...

13/06/2026: The food was good. The sauces were very nice. However, it often lacked that little something extra to make it truly excellent. The service was impeccable and the waiter very friendly. A bit pricey though.

01/07/2026: Hello, The manager, in addition to being very accommodating, gives us a very warm welcome, and her homemade dishes are excellent for a reasonable price. This is a great restaurant where you appreciate the food as much as the smiles. You won't be disappointed! 👍👏 To the paranoid pilgrims out there 🤭: I myself am a pilgrim, and have been for many years. I'm old, I look like a vagabond, and I've never felt mocked or seen anyone with a better plate than mine. To top it all off, I couldn't find a place to stay, but the manager, Stéphanie, went to great lengths, calling her contacts one after another to find me a room. 😇😉 So, well done, thank you, keep up the good work, and let the gossip run its course! 😂 Guy, a solitary vagabond on the Stevenson Trail

16/06/2026: Absolutely avoid 😱, no respect for the kitchen… everything was closed by default so we went anyway, disaster, the daily menu was tasteless and tasteless!

01/07/2026: The welcome seemed a bit cold despite our advance booking. While enjoying a glass of Sancerre, we noticed the chef was working alone. He was solely responsible for managing the reception, the kitchen, the bar, taking orders, serving, handling payments, and resetting the tables. And despite all that, the dishes were visually stunning and incredibly delicious! Well done, sir! Some might find you unfriendly at first, but you pour your energy into your wonderful cooking! And if you take the time to ask a few questions, you're actually quite pleasant. Thank you, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal!

A lovely menu featuring quality ingredients is offered for a truly excellent dining experience. The wine list is also quite extensive for wine lovers. The terrace with its sea view is fantastic. A wide selection of items is also available for breakfast. Thank you, Mathieu, for the very professional and warm welcome.

14/07/2026: I love this place! The lakeside setting is magnificent, peaceful, and very pleasant. You immediately feel at ease. The food is excellent, with high-quality dishes and great value for money. The welcome is warm, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is convivial. It's a place I highly recommend and where I will definitely return.

18/07/2026: Hello How can I put it, you have €38 to spare? Then you've come to the right place… €38 for an all-you-can-eat buffet! If only there were any decent choices… Crab claws that probably came from underweight crabs, and some with a questionable taste (freshness?). Mini langoustines full of water (frozen????) Dry, overcooked gratinated oysters. The salt cod brandade was inedible that day, as confirmed by other customers around us. €38 for the meal, drinks and desserts not included, and €10 extra for dessert—I think that's taking people for fools! And if you need to use the restroom, bring some tissues because there's no toilet paper… Positive points: The view of the Thau Lagoon, the fresh oysters (thankfully the lagoon is right across the street!), and the female staff who were pleasant and efficient. So, to sum up, unless you have €38 to spare, keep walking.

18/07/2026: Amazing place, clean, great decor and atmosphere, magnificent view. The oysters were superb, but unfortunately, I got some crab claws that were completely spoiled 🤢🤢🤮 They smelled like rotten seafood 😵‍💫🤯😭 It was a real shame, it ruined the meal. The dessert was lovely and delicious.

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.

27/07/2026: The pizzas and burgers are excellent! We regularly get takeout and have never been disappointed. The products are high quality, orders are always ready on time, and the service is friendly. I highly recommend this place!

28/07/2026: Terrible service. The waiter was incredibly rude. I found a hair in one of my potatoes, and when I told him, he just took the plate away. I assumed he would replace it, but he never came back, so I went to the register myself. He said he showed it to the chef, but there was no solution. He didn't care and charged me the same amount. I didn't even eat more than half of my food, and it was still very expensive.
