26/05/2026: I recommend this restaurant without hesitation. Poreaux au vinaigre was outstanding. The Magret de canard succulent. I love leeks. This was my first experience with this particular Alsacian dish. I don't know how they get the leeks that delectable texture, perhaps first steamed and then lightly roasted? So much sweet oniony flavor! And the crunch from the crispy crumbled croutons and roasted nuts in a mustard vinaigrette ties it all together with beautiful, complementary flavors and textures. The flavor and texture of the rare duck breast was superb. Excellent quality duck and a healthy portion. I was less sold on the herb sauce, but perhaps that's just my taste. The pate en croute was delicious on the inside but the pastry was soft, with no flakiness or crispness as it should be. Service was very good and friendly, and English-speaking. I was surprised they were so many tourists at this restaurant given its off-center location. But it's Paris and tourists (like me) are everywhere!

19/05/2026: A bistro that makes good homemade food. Warm welcome, fast service. The servers are friendly. It's inexpensive. I'd definitely go back. Very nice outdoor terrace for the summer.

04/07/2026: Today, chance led us to this little paradise: a shaded terrace, a peaceful place where time stands still. The meal was excellent, with delicious grilled meats, fresh crudités, a very good salmon bagel, and for dessert, ice cream with a real fruity taste. The owner was all smiles. We'll definitely be back. It's such a pleasure to find such a lovely, peaceful spot so close to home. Thank you to the chef for the wonderful menu! See you soon!

26/06/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs. The service and staff are completely inadequate, with no coordination whatsoever. It's a complete mess, bordering on verbally and physically aggressive, and they refuse to accept customer complaints about the service. The entire operation is a total failure and far from professional. The wait from aperitif to main course is incredibly long. After ordering, we waited half an hour for our aperitif, and the dishes arrived piecemeal, with a 45-minute wait each time. Some dishes arrived half an hour apart, at best, between the dishes already served to other diners, and up to an hour and a half for a fried chicken nugget for our 3-year-old. As a result, no one could eat at the same time, which is absurd considering that the whole point of going to a restaurant as a family is to eat together and enjoy a pleasant experience. After that, there was no apology from management following our complaints, so if he can't provide services, he'll have to change jobs and stop looking down on customers, and especially be less arrogant towards customers, since we mustn't forget that it's thanks to customers and their money that these people in the restaurant industry make their revenue.

11/04/2026: Cool, but the staff wasn't very welcoming in my opinion; we felt like we were intruding in the bar even though we were the only ones there. Aside from that, good selection of drinks and a nice place.

20/07/2026: It had been a long time since I'd been back to this restaurant, and I'm so glad I did. Our server was very friendly and made the service particularly pleasant. We even had a good laugh, which contributed to a wonderful time! As for the food, we opted for the sharing platters. They were delicious, very generous, and offered at a very reasonable price considering the quality and quantity. The atmosphere is simply perfect in the middle of summer and allows you to fully enjoy the experience. In short, a wonderful rediscovery. I will definitely be back!

16/07/2026: The view is really nice 👍🏼 The servers are great 👍🏼 Quite disappointed that evening because we were told upon arrival that there wouldn't be the usual menu, but only a very limited selection of tapas. We had come for the à la carte dishes, but we had booked for the evening. I admit that in hindsight, we should have left as soon as we arrived. Why not mention this on the booking page and leave customers with a fait accompli? It's a shame, it leaves a bitter taste… especially with a bill of over €120 for two for a rather ordinary culinary experience.

18/05/2026: A dream within a dream. Metz has so many unique attractions to offer, not least this patisserie. The only downside is that dogs aren’t allowed in the café.

17/05/2026: Jokes about French waiters are no joke! The waitress with short black hair and glasses was aggressive and needed to calm down. Yesterday, she yelled at my mother and me and wanted us to leave. The whole restaurant turned to stare at us. It only stopped when my husband arrived with the receipt and confirmed that we had already ordered at the register. The atmosphere was ruined.

14/03/2026: Stoped en route to alps, easy parking, late check in and we were given a code, and the lady waited for us. Room was clean, comfortable bed, furniture and fittings (bathroom) a bit dated but all worked and was warm. Lovely old town with lots of nice shops and eateries. This is our second visit and we will return Family of three adults For a two star hotel this was perfect

07/06/2026: It started off well… we ordered a sangria and a pint of beer… it was during the Romaria festival, so they were serving in plastic cups. The sangria was served in a 30cl glass with fruit. We ordered a second round, this time two sangrias which arrived in much smaller glasses… 20cl each, and full of fruit! I pointed out to the waiter that there must have been a mistake with the glass and showed him my first sangria… he told me that he wasn't the one working the bar and that I should go complain inside! Which I did… and then they told me that the bartender had used the wrong glass the first time, that I was lucky, and that I shouldn't complain… except to the owner, of course, who was nowhere to be seen! It's unacceptable to treat your customers like that… especially local ones! This place should be banned!

25/05/2026: It's been a long time since I went to play, but I still have very good memories of the amazing atmosphere.

25/01/2026: The bar is open on Sundays, the only positive point. There are few seats inside and the service is slow. The horror! The tea is a store-brand tea bag, the kind you'd find in a supermarket! And it's priced like a well-known brand! The little cake is just a speculoos cookie straight from a store-bought package, with no wrapping at all! Avoid it, in my opinion.

12/07/2026: A charming spot with a lovely terrace overlooking the woods, away from the hustle and bustle of Vincennes town center; a very friendly team and a wide selection of quality dishes. Also serves as a tea room and tobacconist.

11/04/2026: A truly warm welcome, attentive and always pleasant staff. We spent some excellent evenings in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. We weren't from the area, just passing through on vacation, and this casino was definitely a great find. We had a really good time, with several nice wins during our evenings… even if we didn't take it all home with us 😄 Special mention for the complimentary afternoon tea on Sunday (cakes and fruit juice), as well as the aperitif and evening buffet – very thoughtful touches. A dynamic, welcoming, and truly enjoyable casino to discover. We highly recommend it!
