03/07/2026: Dishes prepared with love and passion, a very varied wine selection – you're sure to find something to suit you. The owners are attentive, very pleasant, and always smiling. I highly recommend this place if you're passing through or if you live in or around Tours.
06/05/2026: Dare to step inside this restaurant. Don't be put off by the sometimes less-than-warm welcome.
Remember to book ahead, as there are only a few tables. You truly won't be disappointed by the quality of the food!
I highly recommend it, having eaten there many times.

06/08/2026: A lovely place to have a drink, in our case. Impeccable service. We enjoyed it.
05/08/2026: Unpleasant staff, dismissive towards "certain customers."
Especially the gentleman with the spiky haircut!
We were told, "You're only having one drink," and "Well, they can just wait!"
After a 30-minute wait, we got up, and not a single comment from this waiter, who politely let us leave.
Avoid at all costs! The Café du Senequier, a little further down the road, helped salvage our evening somewhat! All customers are treated with respect, and the staff are very pleasant!

28/07/2026: The food was very average. Too many choices on the menu. Too many set menus. Restaurants usually only offer three to five choices, that's all.
26/07/2026: Extremely long wait for dishes that didn't even require cooking.
The chicken was a single, poorly plucked, and skinny thigh. The vegetables were tasteless, and the unprepared steak tartare was served with a nearly empty bottle of store-bought ketchup.
The desserts, however, were quite good, despite (again) a far too long wait for a simple scoop of ice cream.
I would say that if you want to eat at this place, you should plan to take a day off work.

25/05/2026: We were given a very warm welcome. We hadn't booked, but they found us a place for six despite it being busy. The food was excellent, and the place was exactly what we love: friendly, family-oriented, and just like home ❤️
24/05/2026: The wait was far too long; I got the impression the staff were lost. The cooking times weren't respected, and some of the servers were far from friendly. Even paying for these disastrous meals was a chore.

04/05/2026: We were passing through on our way to Spain and wanted to stay here for one night, but it was a disaster. The air conditioning was broken, the window wouldn't open, the refrigerator didn't work, and there was no hot water... plus there was a motorway right next to it. The whole place was a catastrophe; it should be torn down.
21/04/2026: The hotel is very old fashioned - you need to push the door really hard to open or close it. But the main issue is that we found stink bugs in the room when we checked in. We told the reception to fix it and they never do.
Also, the director of the reception is very disrespectful. For example, he used “Les filles” to call us when me and my friend are clearly two 30+ ladies.
Do not recommend even if the price might be attractive

12/06/2026: Good evening, I'm contacting you. We should try to make the same galettes and crêpes in Brittany; that would be fantastic, truly fantastic, because unfortunately, that's not the case here. Galettes have very little butter, not to mention the crêpes that stick to the plates—even worse.

The grumpy owner took our order at the counter with bad grace.
Perhaps the place is more drink oriented?
11/06/2026: This restaurant is located in front of a pretty square, but the food is shameful. I couldn't eat what was served; it was inedible. I'll never go back.

30/07/2026: Let me set the scene: it's July 28th, 4:30 PM, and 37°C in the shade. I'm a cyclist and have been riding since morning. Like at other times during the day, I stop at a shop to refill my water bottles (tap water). Get this: the bartender asked me to buy something before he would refill my bottles. I thought he was joking... but no, he was completely serious, and even a glass of water costs 50 cents.
Sorry to say it, but avoid this place; these people are unpleasant.
22/07/2026: After several visits, I can say that it's a really great bar. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed, and the owners are incredibly welcoming. Whether you're looking to meet up with friends or simply unwind with a drink, it's the perfect place. I highly recommend it!

15/07/2026: 15 euros to seat people in front of France-Spain when the TV is further behind than Mbappé's through balls and the TV in the bar next door... a bit of a money grab, it's a shame.
