24/07/2024: De passage sur Alençon, nous avions lu de très bon avis sur ce merveilleux restaurant. En réalité ces très bons avis ne remplaceront jamais le plaisir de découvrir ce restaurant d'exception. Une ambiance cosy, douillette avec vue sur la cuisine. Un petit coin feutré lorsque vous souhaitez comme c'était notre cas être un peu isolé avec votre animal de compagnie.
Une équipe souriante, avenante, attentive à vous faire passer un très bon moment et bien sûr une carte étonnante, créative, raisonnable en prix et surtout une cuisine goûteuse, audacieuse, gourmande, aux cuissons justes. Une étape que restera dans nos meilleurs souvenirs et que nous recommandons sans modération. Encore merci à l'ensemble des équipes
24/07/2024: Make sure to book a table at this little gem of a restaurant in Alencon. The staff is professional and very friendly. The food is excellent, and reasonably priced especially considering the quality of the courses served. The taste and experience of each course has been carefully planed and executed, and you leave full of tasteful impressions.
Ask the staff for advise on wine or the menu. They seem very happy to assist.

24/06/2024: Je connaissais l'ancienne propriétaire qui était top donc j'hésitais. Mais le nouveau propriétaire m'a convaincu et j'ai eu raison. Je me suis régalée avec une amie, plat du jour thon frais, risotto parmesan petit pois et salade japonaise. Un RÉGAL. BRAVO et MERCI. J'ai passé un excellent moment. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

26/09/2024: What a great little bar! It was a quiet Tuesday evening but we enjoyed our time at the bar and were grateful to be let in with our dogs (I just wish we could have had another drink and not had to get up to early the next day). Great selection of beers and spirits and I finally got to try Picon. The food was good too, a mix n' match selection of things like frites/ pasta or salad, topped with meat, cheese, onions, cornichons and lots of different sauces etc., - you choose what you want then it arrives piled up in a basket! The lady who served us was lovely, and took the time to answer all of my questions about how to drink Picon. We will definitely we back!

A story of the train that made us come...
Well, what a beautiful place, finally a place that resembles us.
Superb welcome, great way of doing things, everything is possible on the menu, we can share everything very well, the important thing is that everyone is satisfied and that we can taste several dishes.
Everything is local apart from just the pickles and fried onions, otherwise everything is homemade and very fresh.
Excellent local lemonade, great special coke. I'm not telling you the flavor of cheedar cream and pink praline cookies... ''divine''
And to think that we never went that way... Try it, you'll see!

21/09/2024: Great discovery during a professional lunch. Lunch menu at low prices and yet gourmet! Shredded beef with butternut puree and lots of other delicious things and passion fruit dessert with a crumble...hard to work after!

Nous ne pensions pas qu'il était possible de manger des moules aussi mauvaises ! Minuscules et un mélange avec le reste du midi probablement car une sur 2 c'était du caoutchouct, quand elle n'était pas fermées.
08/03/2024: Séjournant une nuitée a l hôtel y avons soupe sans réservation..cadre magnifique thème marin..formule entrée plat..très bon et copieux...coktail en fin de repas servi au salon ..repas du lendemain idem..moules maroilles un.peu trop cuites et trop de crème fraîche et peu le goût du maroilles..sinon top..

16/06/2024: Have come back for a repeat visit and never disappointed with the options or recommendations. When they sell you a bottle and give you specific instructions on how to drink it (open, stopper the bottle, and drink the second day for example), listen to them as this is invaluable for showing the true expression of these beautiful champagnes.

10/08/2024: Pleasantly surprised, very good food. We had a great time, vegetable tartare starter and fish terrine were killer. Dish of fillet fillet with shellfish sauce and a poultry supreme to die for and the Holala desert. With 2 fruit juices, a large bottle of water, 2 espressos, all for the 55th hat. And the boss is very warm. Thank you for a good time. We will come back.....but with people
22/07/2024: Nous venons de sortir de ce restaurant, une repas excellent pour un prix abordable avec une serveuse super sympathique et très agréable . Nous y retournerons assez souvent . Le plus c’est une salle climatisée par ces chaleur c’est très agréable . Je recommande .

12/06/2024: The food was awful and made me feel sick. They also tried to charge me double the price on the menu and then told us after we ate that they only accept cash. The waiter was very rude. She walked by our table while we were eating a squeezed a lemon on my food with her dirty hands. I never even asked for a lemon. She was also blowing smoke in our face and arguing about the prices when she was trying to overcharge us. Avoid at all cost. Worst restaurant experience of my life
