23/03/2024: Quand on voyage en solo, certains établissements rechignent à vous donner une table (Établissement dans la même station au bout des pistes par exemple). Au Chalet, non.
Accueil souriant, sympathique. Même presque au complet, ils m'ont toujours trouvé une solution. J'y suis revenu plusieurs fois sur ma semaine. Service au top !! Sourire, rapidité (sans non plus vous expédier) et attention discrète.
Niveau cuisine, pas de surprise: carte de montagne classique. Mais les produits etaient frais et cuisinés. Un plat s'est détaché malgré tout: la poitrine de porc sauce barbecue.
Merci pour ces bons moments, je reviendrai.
22/03/2024: Came to this restaurant on a half board basis. Service and food was amazing. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Would definitely return. Even made us breakfast pack lunch at short notice as leaving very early next morning. Great.

05/09/2024: Jamais vu un « accueil » aussi désastreux…si l’on peut encore parler d’accueil. Une honte.
Une simple demande pour savoir où se trouvaient éventuellement des toilettes et une « gérante » qui ne daigne même pas se montrer et se lever de son siège derrière le comptoir pour tout bonnement directement insulter en criant comme un une mégère : « Viens pas me faire c**** ». Alors non seulement tu ne me tutoies pas, mais surtout tu perds 6 clients potentiels. Inacceptable dans n’importe quelle situation de parler ainsi, mais d’autant plus en restauration. Que ces gens changent de métier surtout ! Ça fera des vacances à tout le monde !
12/08/2024: Accueil déplorable par une personne antipathique que visiblement on dérange; on nous presse pour choisir il n'y a aucun service et les prix sont élevés.
Dommage car l'architecture de l'établissement est plutôt sympa.
On est allé se restaurer dans le 1er endroit qu'on a trouvé on ne savait pas qu'il y avait toute une rue commerçante à quelques centaines de mètres en se dirigeant vers le cirque.

10/08/2024: Creperie of my childhood, we returned there again, it's always a delight, a warm welcome, very very good pancakes and crepes, a very affordable price, you can treat yourself to several crepes.
The cider is a pure marvel too...

27/07/2024: Une auberge sans réelle cachet découverte par hasard. Lieu un peu vétuste mais une patronne très accueillante. Tous les plats sont issus de produits régionaux hypers frais. Quant à la cuisine un véritable délice digne d'un très grand restaurant, qui restera pour nous la référence après la douzaine d'établissement fréquentée lors de nos 15 jours passés autour du lac. 08/08/2024: De retour vers Paris et de passage , nous avons pris un petit déjeuner en famille. Très bon accueil de Laura , les cormiottes étaient excellentes et les tradi-choc une belle surprise.( baguette tradition avec du chocolat !)

31/07/2024: Great hotel for an overnight stay if you are on your way from A to B. (a bit pricey for the space you get) We had an executive room 14M2 on the 2nd floor (no elevator) with a sloping ceiling, also in the bathroom above the bath where you have to shower. Not very useful if you are 1.93. But hey, no problem for that one night. The stairwell is very charming (a bit Fawlty Towers)
And the room was clean, tidy, nice and cool (air conditioning) and the beds were comfortable.
Highly recommended!

13/07/2024: We were passing through Oullins in the morning with 2 colleagues. The establishment has the advantage of being located near the train station. Very nice home . The boss has a sense of humor which is a rather rare "commodity" these days. The coffees and hot chocolate were very good. Another positive and not insignificant point: the toilets were clean.
