17/05/2025: A nice surprise for this bar-cum-restaurant with a pleasant, smiling, and efficient waitress. The meal was simple but very generous, with a choice of desserts (we even got two, but shh!!). The result: €23 with coffee included. Excellent value for money.

19/04/2024: I came to buy cigarettes.
I pay for the cigarettes, the man puts the cigarettes aside without giving them to me and when I ask him he accuses me of having put them in my pockets so that after 2 minutes he realizes that he put them aside.
So he accuses me of stealing it and he barely apologizes...

19/06/2024: Consistent quality, traditional cuisine restaurant, address to remember when passing through Rennes.
04/06/2024: I have eaten there several times, and it is the only restaurant that offers 3 different dishes per day (I think) which satisfy everyone. Everything is homemade, you will be obliged to take a starter (not only he obliges but it's always exquisite). I'm starting again, very welcoming!

17/06/2024: Petit restaurant (30 couverts max... réservez si vous êtes nombreux) avec une ambiance très friendly!
Les plats sont bons et bien présentés et présentent un assortiment de plats qu'on trouverait dans un restau familial de Bristol (ou.. d'Hastings).
Les prix sont très corrects et le personnel, même "dans le jus", farde sa bonne humeur!
Bref, une très bonne expérience que l'on n'hésitera pas à refaire!
En plus, l'anglophile que je suis à pu pratiquer sa langue préférée avec le patron!

15/08/2024: Magnificent experience, the castle is very beautiful, ideally located on the lakeside. The service was very pleasant. Breakfast as delicious as it is plentiful, with an incredible view.

An excellent establishment with exceptional service! The environment is magnificent, the castle very well maintained, the staff adorable and the cuisine very good.
Contrary to what I have read, I find excellent value for money.

23/08/2024: Jeepers, it was such a bad experience. Booked a table at 19.15. Had to beg for the menu to be handed after 20 minutes. Food only arrived at 20.20. Waiters were rude, not bothered. And the food was just about OK. Won't be back.
