18/08/2024: Je cherchais un restaurant authentique avec des prix raisonnables. Ce fut Le Croquant et son menu de produits régionaux à seulement 19 euros pour une entrée, un plat et un dessert. Et le goût y est ! Le gaspacho de tomates jaunes était succulent et le dessert donnait des envies de "reviens-y". Quant au service, il était souriant et efficace. J'y retournerai.

10/08/2024: Tres bon restaurant à des prix sympas. Produits locaux, possibilité de boire du vin de la région sans sulfite. Le chef vient discuter avec les clients.

08/08/2024: Discovered by chance and a very very nice discovery, a warm welcome, perfect cuisine as we like it and all without fuss. We will return there during our vacation to enjoy and delight our taste buds.

30/06/2024: I agree with other opinions, the exterior appearance is not the strong point of this restaurant. On the other hand, ample parking, a good welcome, all the dishes are almost homemade. We are tempted by the menu at €26.00, mixed salad and homemade terrine with Espelette pepper (2 nice slices), mussels with Asti sauce, a treat, label rouge told us the chef with an Asti sauce at lick your fingers, small Basquaise squid accompanied by fries always “Homemade”, for dessert a Strawberry Tiramisu and a rice pudding still “Homemade”. The little extras, open on Sunday, rosé taken in a carafe but served in a cooler, real fabric napkins and the owner who takes the time to visit each table. When paying we caught a glimpse of the kitchens, they are incredibly clean. I knew they also offered a menu for €17.00 during the week and some nice pizzas, we'll come back. Restaurateurs who deserve much credit for offering homemade dishes with excellent value for money.

12/09/2024: First time in a youth hostel and I must admit that for the price I was amazed. The room is spacious with two beds, The shower room is not of high standard but is very functional. The cleanliness is top notch and the welcome is accommodating. Breakfast meets expectations for the price. I recommend!

25/08/2024: Coming for only 2 tacos, we had to wait more than 40 minutes amid the screams of what we think was one of the cooks but also the receiver of orders. This same lady when ordering did not ask for the sauces, perhaps this was an oversight but during the 40 minutes of waiting she could have noticed it. You should also know that the prices are exorbitant compared to the quality, €19 for only 2 medium tacos without fries! Arriving at the tasting which took a long time, we were mixed with the taste of the tacos. Too little cheese sauce, and the pieces of meat were huge as if the meat had not been cut... In short, this experience made us waste money unnecessarily, time and made us feel unwell. which ended in the toilet we will spare you the details... I don't recommend running away!

26/09/2024: Ma femme a commandé un gâteau glace pour mon anniversaire que l’on fêtait en famille et avec des amis. Le gâteau était tout simplement pas bon voir très mauvais. Ceci n’est pas une question de goût car sur les 10 personnes de présentes pas une n’a aimé le produits. Je pense que le pâtissier devrait goûter son produit et remettre en question son choix. Les noix étaient rance, la glace abricot sans goût, la génoise fade! Bref vraiement pas bon! Au prix du dessert et de la renommée c’est tout simplement une honte!

30/05/2024: Seasonal worker in Cauterets, I had a sandwich before going to work yesterday. In great shape when I arrived, I went through hell after eating this not-fresh sandwich whose filling must have been a few days old and had to be passed from hand to hand (I've had some feedback since then, I'm not the only one to have fallen ill with their products) Breakouts of fever, nausea, nausea, and in the evening vomiting, diarrhea. Fortunately I'm young and in good health (I'm almost never sick), because I think this could all end very badly otherwise. In short, run away, there are other bakeries (the one opposite the Carrefour Montagne is very good, don't go to the one next to the ski bar, same owner) and even a triangle sandwich is better, at least by the standards of hygiene and cold chain are respected...

17/07/2024: To flee!! It's not what it used to be. No cocktails, no Llight coke or oasis... the manager wanted to serve us on a dirty table and when my husband politely asked him to clean it he got angry. We won't come back!!

12/07/2024: A typical French tabac restaurant nice table outside but it was raining so inside! The room was dark and miserable. Good coffee but poor choice of food. Main problem was the terrible toilets
