08/09/2024: Restaurant discovered by chance during a long day in Paris. What a delight! Not only did we enjoy it (it was fine and generous, a subtle blend of flavors) but we had a very pleasant time, as if suspended. The owners are adorable, welcoming and particularly attentive to the comfort of customers. The restaurant is charming and super clean. Everything was perfect 👍 I already know that we will come back with enthusiasm and great pleasure.
Little extra: we had drinks (aperitif before and hot after the meal), starter, main course, dessert and the bill was very reasonable.

29/07/2024: A very welcoming hostess, delicious food and, despite us not being able to speak the French language, helpful explanation and patience with us when choosing our courses.
It is obvious why this restaurant, in a little country village, is popular with local people and with those of us from further afield.
05/07/2024: Parmi les belles et relaxantes campagnes de cette charmante région se trouve ce petit village : St. Flovier. Et ici se trouve l’hôtel restaurant de La Source. Une découverte très appréciée pour la gentillesse et l’accueil du propriétaire et pour la bonne nourriture. Nous avons déjeuné à l’extérieur, devant la belle église, égayés par les hirondelles et le chant de nombreux oiseaux. Une expérience vraiment paradisiaque que je recommande à tous ceux qui sont dans les environs.

20/11/2024: Absolutely avoid catering unless you are a fan of frozen foods, fatty and tough meat and industrial cakes! Watch out for the little rascal who is not smiling and who is watching you via camera!!
04/11/2024: This was a charming setting in an old chateau. It has an actual moat with waterfowl. Our room was huge. It had a proper king size bed and a second room with a futon for our daughter. The bed was comfortable with great views of the garden. The staff was friendly. They had a small but fresh breakfast. We were staying in the off season and I imagine they would have more options when they have more guests. The only thing I did not love is that our room must have been above the kitchen. The part my daughter was staying in particularly smelled like croutons baking.

buffet d'entrées assez limité et un peu "fatiguées"
plat: 2 au choix ,rognons de boeuf acceptables,boulettes boeuf et porc...baf !
buffet de dessert: 4 au choix (fraises très fatiguées)
il nous présente la carte des vins en nous précisant qu'il n'a qu'une bouteille de rosé du ventoux au réfrégérateur.....
à la sortie il nous remet "la nomenclature de nos repas "
il est plus doué pour écrire que pour gérer son établissement

29/08/2024: Honestly, a must do. Excellent dishes, friendly servers, all with their feet in the sand. What more could you ask for?
20/08/2024: We ate at this restaurant with friends, the children were served very quickly. The quantity was good and they enjoyed the dessert. Too bad there are no drinks included in the children's menu.
As for our dishes, we had salmon, a Caesar salad, a Bérgere salad and a poke bowl, nothing to say, the 4 very good dishes. Priced a little high but very good!
Great setting, lovely terrace upstairs! Fast service, friendly waitress.
I recommend this restaurant.
