13/09/2024: Nous avons passé un merveilleuse soirée le 27 août dernier. Ici, on est vraiment aux petits soins pour vous, c'est le moins qu'on puisse dire. La perfection dans l'assiette, dans le service. Qualité irréprochable et quelle finesse, quelle délicatesse, quelle gentillesse. On sent vraiment tout l'amour du métier et le professionnalisme, ce qui devient de plus en plus rare. Mérite vraiment d'être épinglé. 27/07/2024: Cadre splendide accueil très chaleureux . Les plats se dégustent d'abord avec les yeux et après les papilles qui restent en suspension tellement les saveurs sont exquises,raffinés et d'un goût à en fondre de plaisir. Vous pouvez réserver les yeux fermés. Pour nous une grande et belle première et certainement pas la dernière. Un grand bravo à toute l'équipe formidable.

15/06/2025: I'm sharing my experience from this morning. I sat down on the terrace and waited a bit. No one came over. I put in my AirPods, checked my phone, and saw a waiter in front of me. I took out my headphones, and this person—a clown to me, trying to be clever—speaks to me in Italian and other languages ​​because I had my headphones on and hadn't seen or heard him. Everyone else is laughing, except me. Shame on you for speaking to me like that and making the other customers laugh. You're very rude. Even though I didn't see you, you should work in a circus instead of a bar.

12/04/2025: We found the restaurant by chance and it was a pleasant surprise! The daily menu is simple, unpretentious, with fresh produce and a homemade touch. Options include fresh fish of the day and meat, homemade chips with delicious sauces, and homemade desserts. Spectacular crème brûlée! This simple place has a quiet atmosphere, with regular customers who don't need reviews, but we felt very well looked after and a delicious meal, which is our small contribution. Thank you!

11/01/2025: Fantastic experience! We celebrated our friend's 25th birthday at O' Camp de Base ✨ The welcome was excellent and the food lived up to the occasion—in other words, incredible! Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back.

25/08/2024: I always need to be fair so will lead with the good points. Food was nice enough, apparently the lamb curry was delicious. Breakfast was good. Bed was clean and comfortable. Live music was good fun. Really loved all of the animals wandering around. Rustic character is nice. However, this place is dirty. There was mess everywhere upon our arrival. Rooms are definitely not being cleaned properly between guests, there are spiders & cobbwebs in every corner, small pieces of rubbish and other guests hair clips on the floor & a large dead insect in the shower tray upon check-in. A long list of small faults that add up. We were told the key to our room was stolen by the last guest so no key to lock our door for our two nights stay…In fairness, on pressing Charlotte did find a spare key half an hour later. On our first night, just passed midnight we all went to bed. All the customers had left after the live band & the owner switched on music at full volume in the room directly below us. I got out of bed to ask for the music to be turned down. I was flabbergasted that the room with blaring music was actually empty and she was sitting in the garden with her friends drinking. Charlotte did turn it off but was very narky, rolling her eyes at me. I pointed out “she was making it clear she didn’t like me”. Charlotte snapped back “I’ve turned the music off, what more do you want?” The following morning, an apology failed to arrive. To inflict your loud music on your guests is immensely unprofessional. To snap at guests and make guests feel disliked and unwelcome is totally unacceptable. Our entire group were disappointed in the standard of this property. We went to an event and other guests were staying at mad hatters. They also thought it was dirty and of a poor standard. Having just read all the reviews on TripAdvisor, I can see Charlotte’s responds to her customers negative reviews with rude, and indignant replies filled with excuses so I’m sure it will all be our fault! This a simply a sign of a poor quality accommodation run by a very unprofessional business owner who does not care about guests.

10/08/2024: Family of 5 (incl 17, 17 & 13 yrs) After 11 hours in the car, wandering into Charlotte & David’s beautiful (massive!) farmhouse to check in, everything just stopped. Cool, calm & incredibly welcoming, the tough driving quickly forgotten. Charming attic rooms with amazing views, amongst the soaring birds. Unwittingly, we had arrived for their Summer Festival weekend - free live music on Friday night, BBQ & fresh salads & a bar that seemed to sell everything! (Free disco on the Saturday night) We all had the best sleep we’ve ever had on one of these stopovers - saw the sunset but not the sunrise from our eyrie. But not too late to enjoy a simple, tasty breakfast.

13/09/2024: Customer for a while, the quality is there, another bakery that still does “homemade” stuff, that’s a good point. On the other hand, at the moment we have to let go. Lack of products, 9:30 a.m. some things are not yet in the window... Be careful not to ruin everything. I will change the rating if I see improvement on my next visit.

06/04/2024: Le sourire du patron, le charme de l'endroit. La saveur des plats fusion Europe Asie. C'est un excellent restaurant. Je vous le conseille vivement. L'équipe est adorable. J'aime beaucoup.

27/04/2024: Since the reopening, it's been catastrophic. A tasteless, cold meal, served after an interminable hour-long wait. Not everyone was served at the same time. Mistake in the order, lukewarm beer. The rougail was tasteless, the fish and chips inedible, rice probably cooked in unsalted water. We were asked several times to confirm our order. Simply avoid it. I don't give it long before it closes.
