15/08/2024: The dishes were excellent, the service impeccable.

09/08/2024: Ordinary cuisine, the glass of wine is served to you in the cubis behind a bar, the blue cheese sauce leaves something to be desired, the entrecôte looks like a steak, the choice of liqueur for the kir is strict (only blackcurrant), a large box empty on a pallet serves as decoration behind the window and the dust is not cleaned on the window sills (dust and dead insects), the service leaves something to be desired... All for the modest sum of more than €75 for 2 people (main course, dessert and aperitif) this type of so-called semi-gastronomic restaurant is a shame or we don't have the same requirements at all.

02/09/2024: Très mauvaise expérience, complexité à chaque étape du service (15min pour avoir le menu, idem pour l’eau, machine CB qui ne fonctionne pas pour le règlement…), mauvais service et surtout nourriture très médiocre servie en petite quantité pour un prix clairement pas donné, de mémoire 34€ Plat&dessert. À déconseiller vivement

31/08/2024: Un petit snack où vous découvrirez des plats copieux et très bon. Vous trouverez de quoi satisfaire vos papilles. Une super halte entre Ajaccio et Bastia.

02/08/2024: Halte parfaite après un canyonning, des glaces succulentes, banane Split, Nutella chic et un mixte fruit à base de citron 🍋, trop bonnes. Merci pour ce moment rafraîchissant.

02/09/2024: I had the opportunity to call on Lard du Gout comm caterer for my wedding in Dordogne and on another occasion for barbecues with friends. Bravo to the quality of all the products, excellent butchery! The owner of the butcher shop is also a very very nice professional who was able to advise me for my wedding and who made himself available for delivery. Thanks to the whole team! We recommend: go there with your eyes closed (and your mouth open!)

The service was outstanding; the staff was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations. The food was the highlight—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in both the ingredients and the preparation was evident.

09/07/2025: I took advantage of the dampfnüdel day. The restaurant is really special, stuck in the 70s. But what food, goddamn it!! Bean soup with or without cream (to be specified when ordering) and above all dampfnüdel to feed a regiment. And when you say you're not going to have dessert, the owner tells you that it's already on its way, included in the package. Go there on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (after reservation, otherwise you won't get your 4 to 6 dampfnüdel per person...)! Price-wise: €66 for three with drink and coffee. To try for the dampfnüdel!!!

27/04/2025: An… original experience! At first glance, the Auberge de la Frohmuhl doesn't necessarily make you want to linger... but my boyfriend and I chose to try the adventure. Upon entering, the very “time travel” atmosphere surprised us a lot: a dark space near the bar, a few silent people around a candle… very special! The restaurant is huge but almost empty, with only a few customers before us. The waitress, not very smiling but efficient, took our order. The prices are quite high for what is offered (a vegetable omelette around €20…). As for the meal, I had a maître d’hôtel butter steak with vegetables, and my friend had a Margherita pizza. The pizza was not very visually appetizing and even lacked basil. We ate “well”, but nothing more, and we didn’t hang around. An experience to live… but not necessarily to repeat for us. Thanks nevertheless to the team.
