16/05/2024: Excellent repas dans un cadre original, accueil sympathique. En l'absence de formule, l'addition peut être salée (à la carte), mais c'est normal pour une croisière en mer !

11/05/2024: Jolie petit terrasse donnant sur la place Benjamin Zix. Le personnel est charmant. La carte se focalise sur une dizaine de plats de qualité. Nous avons testé le suprême de poulet fermier d'Alsace aux carottes et le suprême de poulet jaune aux aubergines (voir phot) et nous nous sommes régalés.

01/12/2024: What happened? We had a catastrophic experience, on all levels. Absent service (when you raise your hand the waitress, at the back of the room, looks at you without moving, you have to shout for a carafe of water), terrible atmosphere (radio playing techno music loudly, on a Saturday lunchtime), furniture and horrible decoration. The photos are absolutely not consistent. We ate an Italian burger which was a kind of kebab… cold, dry fries. I only see one explanation: the place has been taken over and the managers have kept the history of rave reviews. To flee.

22/08/2024: Auberge familiale. Accueil et service chaleureux. Cuisine simple et goûteuse servie généreusement avec le sourire (menu complet à 16€). Une belle étape à recommander

15/08/2024: Nous avons trouvé une très belle étape. Le restaurant est très accueillant et nous met directement dans l'ambiance des templiers. Les plats sont excellents. L'accueil est simple et chaleureux. Une excellente adresse pour découvrir les spécialités aveyronaises.

24/10/2025: I've been getting takeout for a few months now. The staff are friendly, attentive, organized, and efficient. The food is homemade, fresh, and the menu is easy to understand. Plus, you can see into the kitchen, which looks clean and tidy.

28/07/2025: Thank you again to La Rose des Sables for providing the drinks reception and meal for our wedding. The managers and their waitresses were wonderful, and the food was delicious. Thanks to them, our wedding was magnificent, so don't hesitate to choose them to make yours truly special. Mr. and Mrs. Foucher

27/07/2025: Excellent caterer. We were able to choose a high-quality wedding menu at reasonable prices. The caterer was very accommodating, offering children's menus for the younger guests and even providing a last-minute starter for someone with a spice allergy. The canapés served during the cocktail hour were much appreciated. The service was impeccable, with a very responsive team of servers. The dishes were served hot (which is rare these days) and quickly. Everyone was able to dine at the same time. The dishes were well-prepared and generous. A special mention goes to the trou normand (a small glass of Calvados served between courses), which was very much enjoyed. Another positive point: no corkage fee. The team was discreet and very efficient, never rushing us. The service took the time needed so that everyone could enjoy the meal in peace. We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to use their services again.

08/02/2026: A fantastic Friday evening with colleagues. We had booked, and thank goodness we did! 😁 A warm, simple, and attentive welcome, especially since we arrived in a bit of a haul 😉. There was a selection of beers, wines, and cocktails to start our aperitif, to which we were able to add charcuterie and cheese platters. The single meal of the evening was excellent. The starter was a butternut squash soup (we won't reveal the recipe details, but we all loved it!), followed by lentils and pork cooked in beer—a new discovery for me, and it was amazing. For dessert, crêpes, also flavored with beer, gave it a unique taste—another discovery! The setting is lovely, secluded, a cozy haven clad entirely in wood. The road to get there is a bit winding but manageable. The parking lot is small, located directly in a field, which explains the intimate atmosphere—perfect. We can end our visit by buying beers to give as gifts or for home at a very reasonable price. A welcoming place to try, all the best.

30/03/2026: The price-quality ratio is decent for €1. Nothing extravagant. The cafeteria downstairs is very good with great staff, except for the person who's often at the till and isn't very pleasant.
