15/07/2026: Very disappointed, not the same quality as before 😪. No menu. Simple but expensive dishes. Nothing exceptional except for the porcini mushroom sauce. The waiter was very pleasant and professional, but the same cannot be said of the manager.

10/05/2026: Superb restaurant! We were welcomed at 1:30 pm and despite the late hour, we received excellent service, with a smile and no rush! The food is very good and refined! The setting is truly lovely, right on the banks of the Dordogne River and in a peaceful location, perfect for enjoying a good meal. We highly recommend it! 😀

29/06/2026: The food is good, the dishes are tasty, but I've never seen such an unprofessional cook. If you dare to complain about your meat being cooked, he'll make sure you know it. Furthermore, we waited 45 minutes for our main course due to a "computer glitch." The cook told us we needed a reservation, even though the restaurant was practically empty when we arrived.

29/06/2026: I was very upset. The food was quite good in parts, but the cook was simply disrespectful and unprofessional. In short, he needs to re-evaluate his approach. The waitress claimed there was a computer glitch, which caused a 45-minute delay in our meals. I ordered a rare flank steak, but I was served one that was practically medium-rare. When I asked for it to be remade, the cook came over and yelled at me, saying that if it was rare, he'd cut it into a thousand pieces on the plate and expected me to eat it afterward. There wasn't a single bright red color in the meat, which I explained to him. He got even angrier. I told him to forget it, that I didn't have time, but I left in anger with my plate and demanded it be remade rare this time. There was no apology for the cook's behavior, nor for the restaurant manager's. We didn't even have the time or the inclination to order dessert. In short, it could have been good, but no...

24/05/2026: I work right next door, and several colleagues had already mentioned problems after eating there. Personally, I had a stomach ache after going. Seeing the administrative closure today for serious hygiene breaches, lack of cleaning, improper storage, and absence of health inspections clearly confirms that there was a real problem. A restaurant to avoid.

17/01/2026: Review left in a constructive spirit. We were a large group with a reservation. The quality of the food was not in question, and we commend the efficiency of the kitchen, which was able to serve 25 plates in under 30 minutes. However, the interactions during service were disappointing: some remarks made by the waiter, in an inappropriate tone, were particularly unpleasant for several people at the table. The message itself was understandable, but the delivery and tone were not. Beforehand, it would have been simple to clearly announce a limited menu due to the specific service setup, and to present the affected dishes to everyone at the table. This would have been perfectly understood by all and would have avoided these unnecessary tensions. Suggestion for future events of this type: remove the paper menus from the tables and direct customers directly to the limited menu. This would prevent any confusion and facilitate service. On the other hand, although the lamb stew had been pre-ordered, it was served cold (sauce and mashed potatoes), with the meat itself being lukewarm, for several diners. Another point: in the covered extension of the restaurant, while the smokers at our table took care to go outside for everyone's comfort, smoking was permitted at other tables even though this area was completely enclosed. A word from the establishment would have been appreciated. This review is not intended to be negative, but rather to encourage the establishment to improve its communication and the tone of its service, in order to live up to the quality of its cuisine.
