05/07/2026: We came for dinner this Saturday evening. The setting is magnificent, and the meal was excellent from start to finish! The price reflects the quality of the food. Regarding the service, we had a very attentive and responsive waitress. There was no wait at all during the service! We highly recommend it.

17/09/2026: Excellent French cuisine, generous portions made with fresh, homemade ingredients. The storefront is unassuming; it's not just a simple bar and tobacconist as one might think, but a truly excellent restaurant.

10/10/2026: Fast food? I don't think so. An hour and a half for the delivery of three pizzas is far too long, and the mobile phone service was really unpleasant. Luckily, the food didn't taste awful, otherwise I think it would be the worst restaurant in the area.

17/10/2026: There were two of us having lunch (1:50 pm) in the restaurant. The welcome was friendly. The decor and furniture are stuck in 1970; the reproductions of paintings on the walls are completely faded by the sun. A refrigerator starts up every minute and a half for a full minute. It's quite annoying... The food was decent, and we ate well. The hotel is particularly dated, but clean. Room 2 has two double beds with a shower and toilet. The beds are practically on the floor. The walls are completely bare, and there's a wardrobe made of wood and fabric, also in the style of 1970s Ikea. The bathroom was clean, but there were no cups to rinse off after brushing your teeth. Breakfast is served from 8:30 am. The price of breakfast is €9.50 per person. Clearly excessive for one croissant, one piece of baguette, some jam, a bottle of orange juice, and a coffee. Price of the twin room: €75 (if I remember correctly), not worth it, but oh well... A mixed experience, nothing more.

08/10/2026: The first thing you've got to talk about with La Guingette Du Vieux Moulin is the incredible view -- maybe the most breathtaking view of any restaurant in Avignon/Villeneuve. Villeneuve is extremely easy to reach from Avignon -- an under ten minute bus excursion. And Villeneuve is the pretty, bourgeois brother to the more hectic Avignon. Take someone you love for a lunch or dinner and have that ring ready to pop the question! It's the perfect place for a romantic date!

08/10/2026: The servers are always pleasant and welcoming. Yesterday, we arrived with over 25 people without prior notice, including children. The waitress kindly offered the children fries to keep them occupied before their meal and used their screen to show them a short cartoon. All this with a smile, and the meal was delicious! Thank you again.

23/07/2026: The food is delicious and fresh, the coffee is a real treat, the service is top-notch, the only slight drawback is that the toilets are too dark.

16/09/2026: We arrived at the end of the season. A huge disappointment with the meal tray. Nothing local. It was like a summer camp meal. Surely an exception among the rave reviews. Avoid Babybel in the future.

25/05/2026: The best churros and panisse. I come all the way from the Ardèche region, and I stop here whenever I can. This weekend, between the Corsu Mezu Mezu concert and ending up with the churros and panisse, it was the best.
