21/05/2026: Served late, around 2:30 pm, thank you for the warm welcome! Congratulations on the change; every effort is being made to delight customers despite the first few days of opening. The herring salad was perfect, a simple yet delicious dish, and the meat was also excellent. A fantastic reopening that's off to a great start! And I haven't even mentioned the amazing, inexpensive Corbières wine... Visit on March 22nd: the Rougail sausage was exceptionally good!

17/06/2026: We used this restaurant's catering service for our wedding. We had a roast pig, cheeses from the neighboring farm, and the dishes were beautiful and well-presented. The waiter was friendly, smiling, and professional. Chef Théo had organized everything for brunch the following day. I highly recommend this restaurant.

18/04/2026: The croissant and scrambled eggs were very nice. The crispiness was a little tricky to cut. The welcome was warm and the service relaxed. A small order error was corrected professionally! However, the salad should be checked before being plated. Several leaves were rotten. The taste was awful. They offered me a free coffee and apologized. That was a kind gesture, thank you! 😳

18/06/2026: A small establishment with 24 seats and typical Alsatian decor, very good food, excellent homemade blueberry tart.

30/05/2026: We had barely sat down when they asked if we wanted an aperitif without even giving us the menu! We hadn't even finished our aperitif before they asked us if we'd made our choice! We felt like we were bothering them! Not a smile! On the other hand, the meals were excellent! Congratulations to the chef! But we will never be back!

20/07/2026: To begin with, we had a table reserved for 9 PM and were seated at 9:40 PM. Four of us ordered the same dish, but one of us was served spoiled meat that smelled awful. The chef's reaction was, "No, it doesn't smell," while the waitress's reaction was, "Oh yes, the meat stinks." Luckily, the two waitresses took good care of us and offered us a bottle of champagne. The spoiled meat was charged to the bill—a disgrace.

25/07/2026: Lovely restaurant in a charming square, quite centrally located in Valence. A wide selection of dishes, which were not only delicious but also beautifully presented and incredibly reasonably priced. The set menu is highly recommended, as are the steak tartare and the gaufré for dessert. Friendly staff and clean restrooms.

30/06/2026: The small square where the restaurant is located is very pleasant, but a real trap for anyone unfamiliar with restaurant cuisine! A seafood salad consisting of two shrimp, two scallops, and a tuna steak… 25 euros! It's summer, and the locals are taking tourists for fools 😡 Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of the salad! I've always posted positive reviews; I make a point of not badmouthing an establishment just for the sake of it… but here, I really feel like I was taken for a fool. And to top it all off, customers were smoking all around me while I was eating lunch! Avoid at all costs!!!!

13/07/2026: The staff were friendly and pleasant. Our son spilled his orange juice, and they kindly offered us another. The waitress helped us mop it up. The galette normande was very good. Prices were reasonable.

13/07/2026: A very well-located restaurant, but what a shame! You booked and ordered, but after 45 minutes, nothing arrived, and there was no response from the service you requested. So you lost your money, and the restaurant lost customers. This is a way of doing business that I don't agree with.

28/06/2026: Never disappointed on any visit. High-quality, generous menus at reasonable prices. The dining room is air-conditioned, which is very pleasant these days, although we preferred to eat on the terrace overlooking the woods. The waiter's sense of humor is always appreciated. Don't change a thing.

Celebrated my birthday today and as usual the staff were so friendly, our favourite food .goyoza starter, lames de tigre (weeping tiger) a thai steak( rare ) with a proper chilli dipping sauce (we like spicy a lot ) just absolutely perfect and cafe gourmand to finish with a birthday candle and song . All of their varied menu is good and a lovely atmosphere to add to your enjoyment . Thank you all of the Face team for making my 71st birthday a memorable one .

01/05/2026: After sightseeing, we stopped at the restaurant and were the first to arrive. We were served last, and the meat we ordered was soggy, and the desserts were reserved for regulars…! If you're a tourist or just passing through, definitely avoid this place.
