27/10/2026: Not far from Mérignac airport, this family-run, working-class restaurant caters to all budgets. A friendly and welcoming atmosphere ensures a pleasant meal. It has a large interior terrace and a nice, very good menu. It gets very busy at lunchtime. The two waiters were very friendly. I'll be back.

02/10/2026: My biggest regret was not being able to stay longer 😊 A truck driver called back too soon by work 😄 In any case, I still ate really well ^^ I'll be back!

08/07/2026: A brasserie in the heart of the village, tasteful decor, simple cuisine but fresh and well-prepared ingredients, efficient and very friendly staff despite the 35-degree heat. I recommend it.

12/09/2026: We had lunch on a Saturday in a restaurant with a truly unique decor (but you don't go there to eat the decor!). The welcome was very friendly, but we were only offered two choices, even though the menu board outside showed more. The table was still covered in crumbs from a previous meal, and the place wasn't very clean. We ordered a chicken (supposedly renowned) that was undercooked, pink inside, with spices that just oozed onto the skin, which we didn't eat! It came with an abundance of green olives. You have to be into that sort of thing. Very disappointed! We won't be going back.

07/08/2026: I loved it from beginning to end! Everything was in excellent taste: the warm welcome, the divine dishes, and the wonderful atmosphere. The open kitchen offered a glimpse of a busy and focused chef. What a lovely evening we had as a family! My only slight complaint is that the owner wasn't there, but her spirit was definitely with us... So, a huge thank you! We'll gladly be back!

11/10/2026: We were a group of eight who had made a reservation over a week in advance, and when we arrived to order from the menu, many dishes were missing. We settled for what they had, but to our surprise, the second course arrived and was a disaster. The duck was burnt, we all sent it back, the meat was inedible, and they gave us two omelets. A complete disaster; the service was good, but the food was subpar. They gave us free drinks, but that wasn't enough. We do not recommend it.

05/10/2026: Over the past 20 years, when I have regularly visited the restaurant, this has been one of the city's popular and good lunch restaurants, which is primarily visited by locals. The house changed hands on April 1, 2025. Today, there were 6 of us who had booked a table. We chose to sit outside. For lunch, we ordered a three-course menu. Before this, a plate of local specialties. We had carpaccio as a starter. Main course. Kidneys with fritters and rock cheese. . Dessert: Apple with whipped cream and caramel sauce. All three dishes were nicely presented and tasty. Definitely worth a visit if you are in these parts and want a good experience - where the locals eat.

10/09/2026: Me and my friend visited Paris during Roland Garros earlier this year and this restaurant was almost right next to our apartment. Super friendly staff, great food and a beautiful location! Will visit again :)

23/08/2026: Good campsite for a 4-day motorcycle trip, quiet campsite with a lovely river. Basic but adequate sanitary facilities and very good pizza, especially the chorizo.

06/09/2026: Good food and pleasant service, we had a great time. One small area for improvement: the dining room could be a little warmer and have more character to make the experience even more enjoyable.

24/09/2026: A very disappointing experience. The staff's attitude was particularly unpleasant and unwelcoming. We were not received with the respect and courtesy one expects in a restaurant. This unfortunately ruined our meal.

05/10/2026: Disappointing. Pleasant staff but no alcohol in the cocktails (out of 8 cocktails ordered, it's no longer a mistake) and an answer for everything when asked for an explanation.

17/10/2026: My first time here, I had a lovely afternoon tea. The welcome was delightful, the four Nutella crepes were made quickly and were delicious, and as a bonus, the crepe maker was adorable and full of humor. Thank you!!!

10/07/2026: The restaurant is very impressive, the staff amazing, taking time to explain in English what each course was, each course perfectly presented and amazing to eat. Being very picky, these did not affect our overall experience. On arrival carpet looked a little dirty, noticeably improved after housekeeping visit on second day. Would have been nice to have more than one breakfast tea bag in a room for a couple. Cigarette smoke seemed drift in to bathroom from outside.

09/06/2026: Establishment in decline Lack of maintenance Upon arrival in the room, a strong smell of bleach; we were forced to sleep with the window open. Stagnant residual water in the jacuzzi Sewer smell during the shower Dead trees in the park pose a danger Mattress from 2008 .......

18/09/2026: Picture a prison door and you'll get a friendly waitress. Pizza swimming in oil. Walk past and duck your head—that's the best advice.
