25/05/2026: I'm going to give you a detailed review because I think it's the first time I've ever been this low, and it deserves to be precise because behind this review are hard-working men and women in the restaurant industry. We had a reservation for 8 people at this casual, open-air restaurant near Les Sables d'Olonne. Upon arrival, there was no welcome; we waited 5 minutes standing in front of a band. No worries, we're patient, it happens. Once seated, we were offered drinks a good 15 minutes after our arrival... never mind. We were served fairly quickly after that. For our order, we had to wait another 15 minutes. Not everything is on the menu, and not everything on the menu is available. Anyway, everyone found something they liked... And then began an interminable wait... at least 45 minutes. We saw two people sharing the tables. There was no sense of energy... no efficiency, but they were smiling. The food finally arrived, and that's when the disappointment set in. The cod was very mediocre, the grilled and flambéed eels were nothing more than something dry accompanied by three steamed potatoes, the frogs' legs were acceptable, as was the burger. Side dishes were missing... they wanted to charge extra... in short, we ended up not ordering dessert. The bill was half empty... we told them so... they ended up offering us drinks for free... why not, but frankly, we have no desire to go back. Clearly, they are understaffed; the menu is too extensive to deliver on all the promises made on the plate. It's worth noting that there was a very pleasant jazz band, which was a nice surprise. I'm sure these comments don't surprise you, but I want them to be constructive. The ingredients seem to be of good quality, and the recipes are unusual, so it wouldn't take much to turn things around. I wish you good luck!

16/07/2026: We happened to have dinner here before the July 13th fireworks display at the Champ de Mars, and despite the crowds, we had a wonderful time. The food is truly excellent, with very reasonable prices for Paris. The service was fantastic despite the rush and the number of customers. We're not from the area, but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to our friends and family who are planning a trip to Paris. Thank you for this lovely experience, and best of luck to the whole team!

06/07/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance, hoping for a drink and a bite to eat. We ordered three pasta dishes and a croque monsieur (dishes anyone can make). But for this restaurant, it seems like an absolute challenge, as it took over 40 minutes to prepare these four dishes, even though there was no one else there. Furthermore, the pasta had absolutely no taste or flavor. I strongly advise you to avoid this place!

11/07/2026: Always a great selection and quick service, the staff are lovely! However, I must mention the difficult working conditions for employees during this heatwave; the store is an oven, and they persevere with a smile. Frankly, they are very courageous. Air conditioning would be more than necessary for them. In any case, well done for their professionalism!

05/07/2026: The fish is expensive but of good quality. The staff is very professional and friendly. They give excellent recommendations and strive to do their job well. My favorites are a guy from Marseille and another slim one who are very attentive. Thanks to them, I've discovered some great products. Whenever I spend my summers there, I prefer to buy good fish here rather than go to restaurants.

05/02/2026: A very nice hotel with excellent service. The welcome was warm. The restaurant was pleasant with delicious food. A minor drawback was the comfort of the bedding, which we found a little firm, but this didn't spoil our enjoyable stay.

15/05/2026: Wow! We came for lunch completely on a whim and were lucky enough to find an extremely friendly and professional person! And to top it all off, the value for money was excellent! The starter, main course, and dessert disappeared in a flash. Thanks again!

10/07/2026: As a regular customer of this restaurant, we went as a group of six. I ordered an Aperol Spritz, which was served in a 25cl balloon glass 😕 The portions have become smaller: a small steak tartare with a few fries 🤨 Don't forget that the setting isn't everything.

09/07/2026: A fantastic evening! The octopus and the Pierre-style fillet were excellent. A dream setting, we felt like we were on vacation.

19/04/2026: Upon entering the restaurant, we received no welcome whatsoever (no greeting, no glance, etc.). Once seated, we had ample time to read the reviews, which are entirely consistent with the restaurant's reputation. We had to wait over ten minutes for our menu. Changing or removing an ingredient from a galette is impossible, let alone doing so with a smile. Let's talk about the food... It was lukewarm, the galette was soggy, and I suspect it wasn't fresh. When we went to the restroom, we noticed several flies, not to mention the lack of cleanliness. We didn't risk ordering dessert. To end on a positive note, I suggest you review your customer service, the quality of your food, or perhaps your pricing. I advise you to take into account the 400 reviews, which are rated HORRIBLE. I strongly advise everyone to avoid this restaurant; it's a complete rip-off. Good luck, forever!

18/04/2026: Very disappointed. The room was not as advertised. After spending days searching for the perfect room for our mother's (and grandmother's, as the whole family chipped in) 80th birthday, with a view of the bay (a lifelong dream), we learned that the only window in her room looked out onto a roof, just 10 cm from it. So, no view whatsoever. At over €200 per night, this is certainly disappointing. Especially since the hotel is trying to excuse itself by saying they never claimed the photos were accurate. Except that nowhere is there any mention of "photo not contractual" or any other wording suggesting the room wouldn't be the one shown in the picture. In short, this is unacceptable, and we are extremely disappointed. If this had been clear from the start, we wouldn't have booked this room, and certainly not at this price!

19/05/2026: We had an English-style breakfast there. A cheese omelet and a bacon omelet were both very good, and you also get bread, a sliced ​​baguette, and a few slices. Just the thing to satisfy your morning hunger. The freshly squeezed orange juice was excellent. You also get a free bottle of still water.

15/05/2026: Ran across this cafe half a block from our hotel. Service was great and very friendly. All we had was onion soup and fresh bread but it hit the spot on a chilly afternoon. Would definitely go back.

16/07/2026: The only restaurant serving mussels and fries. The mussels are overcooked or recooked with other mussels. The toilets don't have a lock, there's no toilet paper, and no soap. You have to ask for it, hoping it's not handed out by the hands serving the mussels. Avoid this place; other establishments are much better.

14/07/2026: As an Italian, I would advise against this place. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was very disappointing. I ordered fish soup, but it tasted more like a fish smoothie: completely runny, without any pieces of fish, and with an unpleasant flavor. My girlfriend had anchovies and fries: the anchovies were very bitter, while the fries were completely soaked in oil, soft, and overcooked. The bill was €54 for two dishes, a bottle of still water, and a Coke, a decidedly excessive price for the quality of the food served. It's a shame, because we were expecting a completely different experience. I wouldn't return, nor would I recommend it, especially to those looking for good seafood. In an area where you can eat excellent seafood, this place was a huge disappointment...
