30/12/2025: We had a wonderful time at this establishment. The food was delicious, the owner is very friendly, in short, a must-visit in Roubaix!

20/10/2025: I didn't stay overnight, I just enjoyed the restaurant, which served delicious traditional food and drinks from the area. It's highly recommended, with a lovely atmosphere and a great view.

24/01/2026: IN JANUARY: Huge parking lot not far away, accessible by tractor-trailer, perfect for an overnight stop. I arrived tired, and the welcome was simple, efficient, and nonetheless warm. My room (number 2) was spacious, the bathroom small but functional. I had a last-minute meal, but I was served as if I were eating at my sister's house (basic but simple and efficient). Back on the first floor, I was able to access the small street behind the house through a coded door to have a smoke. Back in my room, I had a TV opposite the bed, reversible air conditioning, and good quality bedding and pillows. I woke up feeling refreshed! 🤩 Breakfast was very nice and well-stocked. I recommend it and thank all the staff and the owner who were so friendly and down-to-earth in a family atmosphere. This establishment truly lives up to its name.

07/04/2026: Whilst exploring this sleepy little town we stumbled upon this little bar. It's very traditional and has an impressive interior. With a lovely outside seating area. Had a couple of pints with some very interesting locals! Within an hour I'd learnt the history of the town and it's people and all the gossip and secrets of most of the residents 😁 would definitely recommend spending some time with the locals here

25/06/2026: I didn't rate the establishment because I don't frequent places that have no respect for their neighbors. It's a heatwave, and I couldn't care less that you stay open until 2 a.m. or even later, even though your hours are midnight. I'm asking, and I'm not the only one, that you simply ask your customers to speak more quietly, at least from 12:30 a.m. or 1 a.m. We'd like to be able to sleep with the windows open and without earplugs. It's becoming unbearable. I've tried contacting you several times, even by text message, and you don't even have the courtesy to reply. You're an incompetent manager.

04/05/2026: A really nice restaurant, they welcomed us with a smile despite the crowd, however, the portions could perhaps be a little smaller to be truly satisfied after a long day of skiing, and being served a small expired Coke was a bit odd.

28/05/2026: The staff were very friendly. The room was perfectly fine, clean, and quite spacious. The breakfast was varied and very good. It's a shame that despite our reservation, we couldn't use the pool because people didn't respect their reservation time. Also, the spa was closed.

29/05/2026: I’m glad I went to this restaurant despite all the horror reviews. It’s actually quite nice. The owner is super friendly. The food is honest, reasonably priced and served with true Gaulic panache. I particularly enjoyed the Catalan classics like kidneys sautéed in Banyuls. To top it off, the location is such that you can busk in the sunset as you munch away your dinner. Jouissif!

31/03/2026: I had an amazing afternoon lunch here! I did my best with my bad french to ask for a table and they were so nice and patient with me. Great service and the food was delicious. I had the Duck Confit with potatoes. This was a wonderful Parisian experience and not a american tourist trap. I hope i get to come back.
