07/05/2026: The times I've eaten there, it was delicious and the service was top-notch. The low score is because I have stood in front of a closed door more often than I have eaten there. It is impossible for a tourist to find out online whether they are open or not. A real shame for such a nice place.

21/04/2026: I was passing through on business and stopped by by chance at lunchtime. What a joy to see that such a wonderful place still exists to eat good, homemade food at a reasonable price. Served with a smile and a great atmosphere... Honestly, thank you to the team at "Chez Julie"!!! Don't hesitate, stop by without hesitation. P.S.: Plan a little nap after your visit!!!

04/10/2026: A warm welcome. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. A delicious and generous starter, as well as the frogs' legs... hand-cut fries made with garden potatoes. We will gladly return.

16/09/2026: This is our 10th stay at Hotel Europe. The value for money is fantastic. The location is perfect, and the rooms are very clean. And best of all, the wonderful, incredibly friendly hosts. 07/10/2026: We came for lunch on Sunday. The terrace with its panoramic sea view promised a pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the service was completely lacking. After being seated, we had to wait a good fifteen minutes for the menu. Our aperitifs and order were quickly taken, but we had to wait another 20 minutes for our starters, and almost an hour more for our main courses. Dissatisfaction began to surface on the terrace, as we weren't the only ones getting impatient. Some customers couldn't understand why they were being served after others who had arrived much later, or others who had made reservations and were discovering upon arrival that their table hadn't even been set. A waitress told the former group to go to a fast-food restaurant if they weren't happy. Absolutely ludicrous. As for the food, it was just okay, nothing special, but at a price that is completely unjustified. In particular, the side dish consisted of a pre-packaged rösti accompanied by a salad with an equally pre-packaged dressing. This seems to be the standard side dish regardless of the main course ordered. I'll make a special mention of the homemade dessert, the "crepiaux," which resembles a kind of apple clafoutis that has become rubbery from being overcooked. All this for a bill of over 100 euros for two people, without us feeling particularly welcome. A word to the wise.

11/10/2026: Went there for a late breakfast before catching the bus to airport. We ordered vegetarian omelette, croque madame, croque monsieur, orange juice, iced tea and coffee. Food was ready very promptly and was really tasty. Service was very good, and facilities were tidy and available. If you are after a quick bite - go for it, it is a very decent establishment.

05/08/2026: Le Bastide de Moustiers was a huge disappointment. Upon our arrival, we were greeted and shown to our room. We inquired about getting a small bite and they said they could prepare a charcuterie and cheese plate. A table was set but not worthy of a Michelin restaurant - the place mats were not ironed and there were no glasses or water. When we mentioned this we were told: “This is only a one star not restaurant not a three-star Ducasse restaurant.” We ordered a bottle of Perrier and we asked for some lemon, but we were told the restaurant had no lemons?? The charcuterie and cheese plates arrived were very plain – just two slices of common ham and two slices of smoked meat. The cheese plate only had goat cheese – nothing else. There were no napkins or bread - it took15 minutes to get napkins and bread. We asked for two glasses of rose and that also took 10-15 minutes. The salad had some leaves that were spoiled and had turned black. We complained at the reception. They called the Directrice, Sarah Chailan. We complained to her about the terrible service. “I’m sorry – what do you want me to do about this.” She did not seem shocked by what had occurred nor did she seem very genuinely sorry. Her attitude only served to infuriate my wife and I further. She made no attempt to resolve the problem. 15 minutes later, she knocked on our door – her solution - send us to another hotel! We found this to be exceptionally insulting. We went to the pool and it was filthy. The property was full of weeds. The pool’s foot rinse was dirty and full of leaves. The pool was dirty and there was a big pile of dirty towels and water bottles. The pool house walls were full of mold. The umbrella stands were full of rust. Nothing evoked a luxury experience. This spot is in a lovely setting but is in bad disrepair. The service is truly awful and unless you want to spend $1000 or more on a run-down place with terrible service you should avoid this place.

21/10/2026: A very pleasant dinner with friends. The chorizo, egg, and cheese galette was excellent, and the chocolate and almond crepe for dessert was equally delicious. The dining room is quite small and cozy, and the welcome is warm. The service is perhaps a little fast, which can be convenient if you come for lunch, but less so in the evening if you want to chat a bit between courses. I still recommend it, though; it was very good 😊

15/09/2026: Very disappointed. I've been ordering from there for years, but on Sunday evening, while eating pizza, I got food poisoning and contracted bacteria.
