06/08/2026: Incredible place with a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower. I would like to thank Karen for her kindness and care for us all night; we were very well attended to and received!

06/08/2026: Salam (sp?) was our server and dinner was great! The view was fantastic!! We (erroneously) chose to sit in the back, where the really comfy blue couch is, with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower but with the entire rear of the restaurant being glass, we baked in the late afternoon sun - but that was our fault... In hindsight, we would've chosen a table a bit more inward, but still at the window). Anyway, the dinner was tasty and a great value for the money. In the main dinner menu, there's a burger, chicken, and a really good ribeye (entrecote) for non-foodies but the entrées (appetizers) are not so much for non-foodies. Salam suggested a delicious rosé for us and we loved it so much we ordered a bottle! We ate dinner early (~18h) with the intention of taking our time and then hopping onto the Bateaux Parisiens sight-seeing cruise. It started to get busy as we were there so be ready for that... We were on the 21:20-21:30 cruise and it was a beautiful night and a beautiful cruise. My only complaint is directed to the other passengers on the cruise that have no tact (screaming under every bridge until we finally got to the Eiffel Tower and the were too distracted with selfies to scream) (taking those selfies with their flashlights - knowing full-well that the landmarks they're in front of are way too far for their phones to light), and, SOMEHOW, thinking "6-7" is still a thing - they'd make the move toward people along the banks of the Seine and up on bridges (way too quickly compared to how the actual US kids were doing it) and they were WAY too old to be even doing it in the first place. People, January 2026 called, they'll take their passé thing back! Anyway, sorry, I know the cruise isn't related to the dinner - we happened to have then could together via Viator. The dinner was a hit! I'd recommend it and I hope to go again!

26/07/2026: We stopped for a quick drink, and we were met by a visibly disgruntled waiter who seemed to be wasting his time serving us. No hello, no goodbye... However, the bill was immediately placed on the table. We had read excellent reviews and were planning to return for a meal. But given the reception, that won't be happening. Keep this up if your goal is to drive customers away; you're well on your way.

14/07/2026: Excellent mussels marinara and fries with a nice glass of white wine for €15.50, delicious homemade tart, friendly and smiling staff. Perfect. Thank you.

28/12/2025: We made a reservation for 20 people, and the servers were fantastic; they were accommodating and managed everything perfectly throughout the service! Excellent communication, and thanks to the whole team, we had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional, and the setting was lovely!

28/05/2026: I came to this tea room with my son to sit on the small terrace. There were two free tables: one with a "reserved" sign and another without any reservation card. My son sat down at the latter while I waited in line to order. A saleswoman, or perhaps the owner, gestured to my son from inside the bakery to get up, even though there was no "reserved" sign on the table. Normally, she could have simply told us politely that the table was reserved, but waving her hand as if to "shoo" my son away was unacceptable. Furthermore, the only response we received was that "since there are place settings on the table, it's reserved." In that case, it would mean that in all restaurants, as soon as there are place settings, everything is reserved... Perhaps you should consider your logic. The only normal way to indicate a reserved table is with a "reserved" sign placed on it, period.

05/05/2026: The manager is very haughty with people who don't look European… it's a shame because the products are good quality and the employee is friendly to all customers.

30/07/2026: The lady (with slightly gray hair) who serves is just lovely. Do people like that still exist? And everything is delicious 😀

30/06/2026: Unfortunately, no chance on a hot Friday evening. The disinterested young man reacted impassively. Sadly, his reaction to my criticism was rather embarrassing. Perhaps you could inform your guests in a more friendly manner. I will not stoop any further and have no need to be insulted by you.

16/05/2026: A short family stop. We were there with a one-year-old, and the hostess was incredibly patient and friendly! The food was good and plentiful. One small suggestion: the fish dishes could have used a little more seasoning.

02/04/2026: A very pleasant stay at this hotel located in the center of Ambert. Room (10) is spacious with excellent bedding and a large bathroom. Add to that a delicious restaurant and a warm welcome (despite what the naysayers might say). Thank you.

03/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this crêperie. The crêpes were melt-in-your-mouth delicious, and my 8-year-old son devoured them, even though he'd never wanted to hear about them again because they were always too dry at other places. "The secret is in the butter," as the waiter told us. Unbeatable value for money!

20/04/2026: Pleasant place. Efficient and friendly waiter. Very good galettes with generous fillings. However, the owner is about as welcoming as a prison guard. Not a smile and practically mute. A real shame…!!!!! It makes me neither want to return nor recommend this place.
