17/08/2026: Honestly, I live far from them. I ordered two "maxi" pizzas. They arrived piping hot, in record time, with impeccable service. And to top it all off: they were delicious. Without hesitation, it was a very pleasant surprise!

17/07/2026: Being vegan, I ordered a vegetarian pizza without cheese. The pizza was awful. I don't know if their pizzas are supposed to be Neapolitan, but they certainly had dry, flat edges... Normally, a good pizza is like good bread. Even with nothing on it, it's already good. This was absolutely not the case here. The vegetables, in my opinion, were frozen and therefore tasteless. Message to management: I don't know if your goal is to make as much money as possible regardless of the quality of your pizzas. But if you really want to make good pizzas, review your recipes and dough preparation methods. It's sad to see that the pizzeria's average rating is 4.3/5. This shows that people are getting used to bad pizzas and, in my opinion, don't know what a truly good pizza is...

29/09/2025: We arrived today to find the doors locked, even though Maps showed it was open. Eight other people, who weren't with us, were also very disappointed.

08/03/2026: Lunch on a Sunday at 12:30 pm. One hour for the starter, nearly two hours to finish the main course. The food was decent, if simple (the only side dish was dauphinoise potatoes). At 2:35 pm, after more than two hours at the table, we very politely asked if it would be possible to speed up the cheese course or move on to dessert. The response: if we were in a hurry, we should have said so when we arrived… and it's already a good thing the restaurant is open on Sundays. So we moved on to dessert: no fruit, unlike at other tables. When it came time to pay, the bill was incorrect. When I calmly pointed it out, the chef replied: "You won't be back anyway," then added that I would have been better off saying nothing since the Mâcon wine was more expensive. He then accused us of having changed the menu… confusing us with the next table. And concluded: "If you're in a hurry on a Sunday, go to McDonald's." “At 50, and after eating at many restaurants, this is the first time I’ve been treated like this. The food was decent, but the welcome and service were truly regrettable.” Everyone will have their own opinion.

29/07/2026: The staff seem to be having a lot of fun, and the customers don't appear to be their priority. The owner seems more professional. What a shame.

28/07/2026: I'm never disappointed when I eat here. The appetizer buffet is varied, and you can easily see that the salads are well-prepared and homemade. The main courses are also well-prepared, often with original touches. The menu is very reasonably priced. I'm always surprised it's not more crowded when I go because the value for money is excellent. I highly recommend it! 😊 (I'm a truck driver; there's parking available by walking around the store.)

02/08/2026: We stayed here simply because it was right off the highway and hence a natural break over night for our road trip. The location feels slightly off when arriving, the entrance is somewhat on the backside in an alley. If you feel like “this can’t be right” when following the navigator, you are right on track. So here is the thing. The first thing we noticed were people smoking in their rooms from the windows. The staff in the reception were friendly and they spoke very good English considering it’s France. Dogs were welcome. The room initially wasn’t that bad, but the bathroom cleaning was insufficient. Also the toilet is behind one door, while the faucet and shower was behind a different door not even next to each other. So you had to walk thru the room to wash your hands after using the toilet. Is that the end of the world, no, but very inconvenient. The rooms were quite noisy, could hear alot of the neighbors and people in hallway. The beds were very uncomfortable.. not to mention the pillows.. in the hallway outside of the room and elevators in smelled Marijuana.. we understand that cultures are different but it is off putting to face that intense stench in a hotell, no matter if it’s cigarettes, weed or perfume… Would not go here again, unfortunately. The restaurant were closed due to holiday they said so I can’t rate that. They offered pizzas in the reception for 10-13€ which felt like frozen pizzas they heat up. Works when in need, but not really worth it. They also have drinks 7-9€ for 25cl of booze.

28/05/2026: This hotel is not bad, with clean rooms and window blinds. Change was the pool was covered in green slimes, and the EV charging stations (benefit of the hotel), being blocked off for 12+ hours by cars of customers parking at the meant that we could not charge the car, resulting to more hassle to us.

27/07/2026: I come here regularly for bread and pastries, but lately I've been getting really stale, completely dry, and almost inedible products, and yet I'm not fussy. At first, I thought it was just a lack of attention, but now I understand that there's a deliberate intention to sell unfresh products without warning the customer. At such high prices, it's shameful!

12/08/2026: The beef tartare was appalling, pre-prepared, and the food was disgusting. The salt shaker was soaked in mustard, and the egg was nowhere to be seen, even after complaining. Shameful and revolting. Luckily, the service was pleasant because the owner never leaves his kitchen!

06/10/2026: Ladies, RUN AWAY! This establishment is frequented by people making lewd, racist, and misogynistic remarks at lunchtime... I was very disappointed with the manager who didn't even bother to put these customers in their place when they confronted us while we were paying the bill at the counter. Even though the food is good, I won't be going back!

30/09/2026: Maison Léonard in Izernore... It's a very good pizzeria, but not only that... they also offer various Italian dishes and specialties. Several set menus are available. The pizzas are very good, and the staff is friendly. A great place to visit.

03/09/2026: Excellent crepes at unbeatable prices! The place is small, so if you happen to be passing by and there's a seat, grab it!

19/08/2026: A charming lady who ran the dining room and cooked all by herself! The galette was very good and the price more than reasonable.

07/07/2026: Goûte (Rue Mandar) is the perfect Paris neighborhood wine bar. The vibe is cool, cozy, and low-lit—ideal for a date night or catching up with friends. Their natural wine selection is incredible (you can browse the shelves yourself), and the staff are super friendly and passionate without any pretension. Pair your glass with their fantastic seasonal small plates that the chef updates very frequently—the hummus and compte are must-orders. It gets lively fast, so arrive early. Can’t wait to go back!

27/10/2026: We got married on Saturday, October 24th at Villa Madrigal. It was a complete success; the food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the staff very pleasant. Valentin is very professional, responsive, and attentive. He tries his best to accommodate the requests of each vendor and will do everything he can to ensure your wedding is a success. In short, I highly recommend this venue. Thank you for everything, Camille and Mathieu.

26/10/2026: My review in 2021: A very good restaurant, both for its cuisine and its service, as well as for the view! There were 12 of us, with 7 bouillabaisse orders, and none of our guests were disappointed... I recommend it. My review in 2026: Avoid it. There were 13 of us: - When booking, we requested to eat outside: not possible even though the weather was nice (in 2021, we ate outside at the end of October). - The menu was out of date (it would be updated in a week) and the change to the dessert on the set menu hadn't been announced. - We couldn't change our side dishes because it was too crowded, but we could order a separate plate for an extra charge. - One out of four individual cups of grated cheese for the fish soup was moldy. The waiter glanced at the others but didn't replace them! The à la carte and set menu items were the same size, which is to say, small: a trace of mashed potato, etc. We spoke to the waiter, who told us they didn't differentiate between the two. However, at dessert time, we were told a different story: smaller desserts for the set menus! What's the logic? These remarks were passed on to the waiter, who seemed very stressed, so he could inform the manager. The bill came to €894.10. No compensation was offered for moldy cheese, for a large group, nor for the three coffees or the after-dinner drink. Perhaps the owner mistook us for tourists... In short, we're done with this restaurant; we won't be going back.

03/10/2026: Discrimination They simply refuse entry if you have the misfortune of wearing a political shirt they don't like (left-wing), reminding you that this is illegal according to Article 225-1 of the Penal Code. They claimed I had supposedly started a fight a week ago, which is impossible since I only came from Paris for the weekend. They then claimed again that it might cause trouble in the bar and reiterated their refusal to let me in. Unacceptable behavior, avoid this establishment.
