25/02/2026: Avoid this place! Endless wait... no professionalism whatsoever... very disappointed with the service... on the first weekend of good weather, they are overwhelmed and don't have the products they offer in stock... change professions!

17/05/2026: Avoid at all costs!!!! The owner is rude to customers and reprimands them in a shocking way! In addition, the squat toilet is filthy and far too small!

12/05/2026: I sat down at a table for two, and the waitress (owner), as friendly as a prison guard, came over to make a comment, saying, "This isn't a service table." Nothing distinguishes a service table from a non-service table. Furthermore, I ordered a café crème, and I'm still looking for the cream; it was just a simple café au lait. So, I paid and left without finishing my drink. To top it all off, the place is incredibly run-down, and let's not even mention the squat toilets where your feet get wet.

12/06/2026: Meeting followed by a business lunch for 15 people. Excellent welcome and service, excellent meal. The room is very well equipped. Ample parking. The green surroundings are also very pleasant. We highly recommend it.

30/05/2026: The chicken sauté with Fourme cheese was terrible. It had no flavor; I'm still looking for the cheese. Really disappointed. The coffee wasn't good either.

14/02/2026: A lovely little stop at La Table! Warm welcome, quick and efficient service. Everything is delicious. We had the daily special and the tartares that day, and the gourmet coffees too! We'll be back. The owner is very friendly.

20/11/2025: I love this little spot right off the main road ;)), with a view of the harbor. Here you meet real people, it's not a tourist trap, no frills, just raw and authentic. I've been coming here for years to drink my coffee—or several—and the food, especially the tapas, is definitely worth the trip.

05/09/2024: My partner and I have been to this establishment several times. We're always happy to go. Good service, good atmosphere. But then, one evening we decided to go back to end our trip on a high note. My partner was dressed in pink for fun. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and had a good time with us. Except for the bouncer, who kicked us out, insisting that my partner's place was in the gay bar next door. What do you think of this very inappropriate behavior? We won't be going back. On the other hand, my partner's costume wasn't a problem at any other establishments. What a shame.

18/08/2024: We cannot judge the quality of the restaurant but we deplore the attitude of a waitress who spoke to us very badly because we accidentally entered the restaurant to return to the village. This is not a good way to address potential future customers and gives a bad image of the restaurant.

12/05/2026: Having spent two nights at the hotel, I find it expensive for what it is. The room was somewhat clean. The shower system was completely useless. There was a lot of noise in the hallways. The cleaning lady was inconsiderate and opened the door without knocking, even though I was inside. The fire alarm technicians came into the rooms without warning. The fire alarm went off horribly, but for no reason, and there was a power outage. In short, many things need improvement, or at the very least, the price should be lowered.

12/06/2026: The establishment is clearly closed: shutters closed, terrace empty and telephone number no longer in service in the middle of the season!

01/02/2026: Warm welcome. The ribeye steak with homemade fries was amazing. The best on the peninsula and still just as excellent after 10 years.

26/10/2025: A friend and I had the opportunity to go to this restaurant; the quality of the service and the food was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves in a pleasant atmosphere thanks to the kindness and friendliness of the lady who looked after us.

25/05/2026: Don't be fooled! We booked two nights at this 3-star hotel, at €170 per night for a "deluxe double room with bathroom" (according to the invoice). Nothing but problems with this establishment: Rooms on exterior walkways with lots of stairs (no elevator). The room was shabby; the bathroom was outdated with a shower in a bathtub; the toilet door opened directly onto the headboard; the bathroom heater was faulty; and there was no soundproofing in the rooms (the noise of the nearby stream was very annoying and tiring after a while!). The welcome was minimal, there was no heating in the room when we arrived, and we felt like we were bothering them when we asked for an extra duvet. As for dinner, it was just as bad as everything else—far from acceptable! A motorway service station cafeteria would do better. The indoor pool was old and had a freezing cold shower. We fled the very next morning and went to another hotel! A real one! At "La Vallée Heureuse" (The Happy Valley), the customer is nothing more than a credit card, expected to endure mediocrity without a word of complaint! The manager's defense is a full-blown attack, labeling the dissatisfied customer as "bad, threatening, vulgar," and saying things like, "As soon as I saw you arrive," etc. Absolutely no professionalism, very poor value for money for a so-called 3-star establishment, and a bad image for Poligny and the surrounding area. On TripAdvisor, the manager doesn't hesitate to respond with lies or threats in an attempt to intimidate dissatisfied customers. No dignity, no seriousness, and bordering on illegal.

19/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! A nightmare that thankfully ended with our early departure for another hotel in the area. "La Vallée Heureuse" is a shabby hotel where mediocrity reigns supreme. The welcome was rushed. The room and bathroom were outdated. The small balcony was dirty. The heating was faulty. Dinner consisted of meat served with mashed potatoes that looked like something you'd find in a school cafeteria. The indoor pool was old and poorly maintained. The photos don't reflect the current state of the hotel at all. And the worst part: the noise of the stream (not mentioned online), as well as a large number of steep stairs (also not mentioned online). Be warned, if you express your disappointment to the manager, he will call you "vulgar, aggressive, and condescending." His tone became threatening when we pointed out that, for the benefit of other tourists, we were going to post a review online. In conclusion, this hotel is in dire straits, and its manager tries to hide (during the booking process) that he couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. A true disgrace to the industry. Want to see for yourself? Read how he responds to dissatisfied customers... Blatant attacks and lies. Is this dignified and professional? Certainly not. I want to clarify that his response on TripAdvisor is misleading: I don't run a social media account where I create advertisements. I'm simply a very dissatisfied customer who left after one night. The owner became offended and aggressive. He does this to all his unhappy customers and doesn't hesitate to invent lies to discredit them.

25/07/2026: Hello everyone, ...The bartender was great... But that's where it ends!!! The bar was overwhelmed and swamped... We arrived at 1:15 PM, 2:40 PM... Still waiting... Once the waiter told us (No more chicken!!!) We ordered a dish... In short! ...I absolutely do not recommend this place...

24/07/2026: We had lunch there when the Tour de France passed through Chambéry. Located right in the city center on a pedestrian street. Friendly staff. Classic cuisine.
