28/06/2026: The wait was far too long. We arrived at 1 p.m., and our drinks didn't arrive until 2:30 p.m. At 3 p.m., the main course arrived with a huge, dismembered fly in the sauce, and the cook had the nerve to tell us it was in the hallway. It was cooked! We left immediately! Avoid at all costs!

28/06/2026: Family meals are rarely possible; we want to support local restaurants. We arrived at 1 p.m. Our order was taken by a friendly waitress. An hour later, the drinks were served. Two hours later, at 3:15 p.m., the first plate arrived, served by an incompetent and undrinkable young waitress! There was a huge fly pooping in the first dish, the fries were frozen, and on top of that, they have the nerve to complain and make excuses. When you run a village restaurant, you use common sense and don't just become a restaurateur overnight. Working for the labor inspectorate, things are going to go very well from now on.

09/07/2026: The staff were welcoming, but that's about it! We ordered a pizza, which was made with frozen dough and cost €12. The steak tartare, priced at €16, wasn't actually prepared at all, not even with a knife. It was simply ground beef, and the dish was lukewarm. The Italian burger was good. The "homemade" fries were not. The quality was terrible!

29/04/2026: I am outraged by the quality of the housekeeping service. I stayed one night and found a pair of underwear and a sanitary napkin in the bed! I've included photos as proof. I never received any response from them, neither by email nor phone. The receptionist couldn't do much except pass on the information. Since then, nothing. No compensation whatsoever. I am shocked by the hygiene of this hotel! It's appalling!

23/07/2026: The welcome was extremely cold, without a smile. The cook was friendly, but he had a strange way of patting a minced steak between his gloves (which he used to touch everything) and then cooking the minced steak in a pan with sausages... as a result, we ate a boiled minced steak... A shame, because the setting is lovely!

22/07/2026: It closes at 6:30pm instead of 7:30pm as indicated on Google.

30/07/2026: You have to be lucky. I wasn't lucky with the vanilla cream and tagliatelle.

17/07/2026: Very disappointed: €28 for a mediocre daily special (veal escalope with cream sauce) in a setting that hasn't changed in decades... A light salad as a starter... Dessert: two scoops of ice cream (no vanilla available)... I won't be going back, especially since just half an hour away in Saverne, I was served a gourmet set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) in a magnificent setting for €27, with a choice of three different courses...

27/06/2026: We ordered around forty meal trays, they were delivered, everything was perfect for a very reasonable price, we highly recommend them. Thank you very much.

13/06/2026: Didn't enjoy the experience. Not very helpful. There was uncooked food in the dish. I definitely don't recommend it. Avoid at all costs.

05/04/2026: THE ABSOLUTE WORST reastruant I have ever eaten in my life I don’t normally write reviews ever but this deserves it I ordered a bacon burger witch was a ball of grease now I know bacon and burgers are greasy but this was shocking for €26 there was three hairs in my burger when I asked them to take it back they said no and said I most have out them there to get a free meal the hairs were grey and I don’t have grey hair my chips were said to be home made they were half frozen when they came to my table prices are extortionate from r everything disgraceful place should be shut for hygiene standards staff are rude bathrooms we’re disgusting got ran through multiple times by staff and they blaim it on me absolutely disgraceful AVOID AT EVERY COST

01/04/2026: The tartiflette was excellent, the lasagna a little less so but still very good. Lovely service. Chalet-style decor. We went two nights in a row.

20/05/2026: I received a terrible welcome at reception; my TooGoodToGo order was given out during my scheduled pickup time! They gave my order to someone else, whom I paid for at 8:00 PM, and I arrived at 8:01 PM. Not very humane.

30/04/2026: I wish to inform you of a particularly disappointing experience at your establishment. While simply buying a croissant, I was met by a cashier who was clearly more preoccupied with texting than attending to customers. The payment was processed carelessly, with an unprofessional and frankly dismissive attitude. As a regular customer, I find this regrettable. This type of behavior clearly damages the image of your establishment. I suggest you remind your employee of the basics of customer service, or even consider providing her with refresher training in this area. Sincerely

17/11/2025: Hello, we were warmly welcomed and ate well, at a good and inexpensive price. The only complaint I have is the hygiene of the toilets and restrooms.

25/07/2026: This bakery is nice and offers a good selection at fairly reasonable prices. However, be aware that eating in is more expensive than taking away. One small drawback: a smile from the staff now and then wouldn't hurt and would make the experience even more pleasant. Thank you!

03/08/2026: The waiter was pleasant, but unfortunately, that wasn't enough to convince us about our lunch today. The chicken burger cost €17 and had three nuggets inside and undercooked fries. The same went for my regular burger. The €19 set menu was passable: whelk in a bland broth, dry veal cutlet, and a chocolate crepe with an acidic taste. For the price, we would have been cheaper at McDonald's with equivalent quality. It's a real shame because we used to love this restaurant.

20/07/2026: Our experience was frankly disappointing. There were five of us, and from the very first moment, the service was terrible: scant, listless, and with a constant feeling that serving customers was a chore. To top it all off, a good portion of the menu items weren't available. You couldn't tell if you were reading a menu or a catalog of things that couldn't be ordered that day. The only fault we accept is that we sat down at the first restaurant we found. Lesson learned. The rest is the responsibility of an establishment that should pay much more attention to customer service and offer what it advertises on its menu. We certainly won't be returning, and we can't recommend a place where both the service and the food are sorely lacking.

18/07/2026: We were a group of eight people: four adults and four children aged four to seven. We arranged our own table, but our drinks took half an hour to arrive (the cocktail contained old, rotten mint leaves). After being repeatedly ignored by the very unfriendly staff, we escaped to the pizzeria across the street. What a shame.
